I noticed in his pictures that he participated in relief funds for disasters and repurposes/recycles the junk people want gone. He has a business ethics model with which I can identify. Secondly, but just as important, his prices were fair and his communication was efficient while being courteous. He is responsive and reasonable. No troubles with communication and organizing the move at all. Last and perhaps most important, his guys showed up on time (6 mins early) on the day of the move. Erik and Odell worked well with each other. They were both efficient and careful with our stuff. Erik is hearing impaired and I kept forgetting and sometimes saying things while standing behind him. However, that's my problem and not on him. Odell was personable and Erik is a very sweet person. As movers, excellent but also pleasant human beings. I did notice that Odell is a smoker but it isn't any of my business what he does on his own time. Just mentioning in case anyone else cares. There's an overload of dust and allergens with moving anyway so not a deal breaker for me. Oh! Odell was a godsend with having his tools with him! My hubby had gone to return our U-Box things and Odell took the legs/feet off my elliptical very quickly with great proficiency, with Erik's support, and we got the whole move done within our scheduled time without going over. Overall they had the best rates and don't charge extra for the truck or the travel fee (which is actually a fee for the time it takes a moving company to get to your place and then back home after the job is done). They were a bit slow to respond at first, but were very helpful in helping us prep for the move to reduce cost (making sure all is packed, having boxes of similar size stacked together because that's how they move them - by size and not by room designation). And they hustled. The moved ended up taking longer than we anticipated (lots of stairs!) but they ended up charging us less than we thought - they stopped by for lunch on the way to the new place and didn't charge us for that time. I don't believe they're insured, so not sure if I would recommend them if you have a lot of stuff. But they took good care of our IKEA stuff and I will use them again next time we move.

Let me…read morejust start off by saying I try to support our people as much as I can so when I seen a black owned moving company I wanted to support. My understanding was that I was getting an actually moving truck. they pulled up with a storage container on the back of a pickup truck which wasn't discussed prior to moving. I knew that wouldn't fit all my belongings from a two bedroom apartment. They allowed my jewelry stand to be outside unattended while they moved my couch out the front door and my belongings where in the back unattended for idk how long. What really pisses me off is that they could've said something to me and could've watched my belongings. After my jewelry was stolen which had a value at least 50000dollars. Willie tells me they are not responsible and i shouldve been watching my belongings if it was that important. A total disregard to my valuables and my feelings to what had just happened. After he told me he was waiting on police which was a total lie, when we get to my new apartment he stops moving my things and demands another 270 for the time I had went over. In total I paid him almost 800 for this move. After I paid him his money he then proceeds to tell me he's not moving nothing that wasn't on the list to be mvoed. Keep in mind they left my kitchen table and a tv which was on the list. So he left like 6/8 bags and my bed frame which was on the list to be moved outside my new apartment. I had to move everything Willie was yelling and acting ghetto in front of my new apartment building where my neighbors could hear and see. while moving my couch into my new place they broke a light in my hallway. Long story short I lost things that could never be replaced again and I have no one to blame but young movers for being negligent. Do yourself a favor and book with real professionals.

All four guys were very respectful of our property and man, did they haul ass-4 hours total and they charged much less than the actual quote.
