The perfect tasteful and moody bar on the hill for a drink and a snack. The cocktails are creative, quirky, and yummy, and the bites are quite good too. Service is so so, I once watched my drinks sit at the bar for an additional 10 minutes, so come with a bit of patience.

The food surprise me a lot, even that I just order snack with some drinks it was amazing, I really love it, I highly recommend it if you want a date night or something special. The service was really nice and helpful! I would love to come back again

My friend and I came to Herb and Bitter for SRW. The three course menu had a starter, a salad, and an entree. - Brussel Sprouts: 0/5, all of them were completely burnt! The brie was also burnt. I asked to swap my starter for something else and the kitchen rank fully agreed. - Spicy Fish Tacos: 3/5, the fish was good and the wonton wrappers was a nice complement. I wasn't a huge fan of the radish on top felt like it broke up the texture and made bites harder to eat. - Pear Salad: 3/5, I wasn't too impressed by this. It felt like they were too heavy on the chicory and not the other things. I did like the gorgonzola a lot. - Prawn Risotto: 5/5, this was by far my favorite item. I thought the andouille sausage was a wonderful complement. The risotto was perfectly cooked and very flavorful! Looking back, I think a salad course was unnecessary. Would have preferred a dessert as the extra course! We liked the entrees a lot, my friend got the Pork Chop and was happy with it. I'd come back just to try more of their main dishes. Our check actually included an extra charge for the replacement starter, which we only noticed after we paid. Our waiter reversed the charge once we brought it to his attention. Thanks to our waiter for being accommodating!

Herb and Bitter is located in Cap Hill and has a great ambience. The service was great. They have a good cocktail menu and a food selection. It's however on the pricey side. We tired the Risotto, the Gnocchi, Truffle Fries and Shishto Peppers. Everything was delicious but I think the Gnocchi and Peppers stole the show for me. If you're around the area, definitely worth a try!

This has got to be the best happy hour deal in town! They have all day happy hour on Sundays and i always go for the fried chicken with corn bread and a nice cider. The chicken is juicy, crispy, and well seasoned. It pairs very nicely with a decent helping of corn bread. Im not typically a slaw person at all but theirs is actually super good! Very fresh and no mayo if I remember correctly. Super yum. They have so many delicious things on draft but my favorite has to be the Slightly Furry Pineapple cider. The bartenders are also so kind and fun to chat with. Also, the interior is incredible, take a look up at the gorgeous ceiling next time you're in. Love this spot!

The interior is cozy. It is dark with a bar like atmosphere. Despite a reservation, we did not get the place we wanted. What we got was not a bad one. Damimama was good in taste. The food is amazing. The French fries were tasty. BLISTERED SHISHITO PEPPERS are tasty and not spicy. SPRING RISOTTO was sumptuous and ROOT VEGETABLE GNOCCHI was tasty + well decorated. WASHINGTON WILD BERRY COBBLER Was the best one I ever had. It goes well with Gelato. The waitress was polite and friendly. Their menu changes, So what you see may not be available. It happened for one drink and one item. A good experience overall.

Hidden gem. Beautiful space, so much more than you can tell from the exterior + amazing solarium (we walked by it a dozen times before coming in). Best Happy Hour on Broadway. Excellent food. Nice pours and huge bar.

Love artistic cocktails and this one gave me my favorite thing along with it....a little sage burning smoke Cool atmosphere, great for date nights or gatherings with great people. We definitely enjoyed the ambiance and menu!

Pretty chill place to grab a drink and relax. We came and ordered a couple of drinks at the bar and were able to enjoy our time here. They also have a back patio area to sit at. The selection of spirits here is pretty good, and the bartender was pretty knowledgeable.

Exceptional presentation, delicious flavors, they have non alcoholic drink options, and a great vibe.

We came for Seattle restaurant week and were so impressed! We ordered the flash seared yellowfin, the steak frites, the spring risotto, chocolate pâté, and the root beer float. The flash seared yellowfin was amazing and my favorite part of the meal. The fish was so fresh! The chocolate pâté was tasty but a little difficult to break apart for each bite. The restaurant was beautiful with amazing lighting. The staff was very professional and attentive. Will definitely visit again outside of Seattle restaurant week!

My friend recommended this place so we went on a Saturday night and there wasn't a wait because they put us in the back. It was a very stormy rainy night so the rain on the glass was really cool. I ordered the brown butter gnocchi, the hummus plate, and the cocktail. The presentation of everything was very beautiful, but the food was just okay, nothing really blew me away but the presentation of the cocktail was really fun. I ordered the Peach and Chong and it came with a "joint" smoking on the side of the glass. Pretty spendy for what you get but otherwise it was a nice time.

Five star concept and ambition, four star prices, but three star execution. Everything was the sum of its parts and nothing more. The spirits and cordials selection IS impressive, especially if you have $20-40/oz to spend on vintage and rare spirits. Go here for a drink but look elsewhere for dinner. By the numbers: Food 2/5 Drinks 3/5 Service 4/5 Ambiance 3/5 Value 2/5 Blackened rockfish - Ok. Fish was flavorless. Grits were chunky and cold. Best part was the pea shoots. Truffle fries - Excellent. Saffron martini - Ok. Really nothing remarkable. Saffron threads provide some color but weren't integrated into the rest of the drink. Unless you eat them (awkward due to strand size), you wouldn't know they're there. French 75 -Excellent.

For one, the bar service was mediocre for my $26 cocktail. I get more conversation from the bartenders at the Red Onion.... And because they bartender wasn't paying attention, he forgot to put our food order in....probably didn't need it anyway, I need to diet. And then we get the check and they automatically add 22%...if you are a quality establishment offering exceptional customer service, you don't need to tell me what to tip...guess you are not. And they they have the nerve to ask me if I want to tip another 18%, 20%, or 25% when I sign the check on their Toast device... I'll go out for a quality cocktail experience at Needle & Thread, The Doctor's Office, or maybe the Red Onion, lol. But I won't be coming back here ever again.

Roquette was a surprisingly small space with a wonderful vibe serving up "destination" bar-worthy cocktails. It reminded me of some of the neighborhood gem cocktail bars that I'd frequented on the East Coast. I grabbed a seat at the bar. Roquette's lineup of cocktails were varied in flavor profile using a wide range of spirits. They also served non-alcoholic offerings which looked equally intriguing as their boozy selections. I started off with the 99 Problems ($28), which, unfortunately, I forgot to note what was in the drink. It was boozy, clever, inventive, and most importantly delicious. My second drink was the Imperium Old Fashioned ($24) made with Westland Whiskey "Roquette" Barrel, Clement Cask Strength Rhum, Old Delicious Apple Brandy, Pineapple, and Spice. It was an excellent, boozy, balanced update to the classic Old Fashioned. Although I went with drinks off their menu, I have no doubt that any of their skilled bar professionals could've crafted me a wonderful cocktail if I had simply requested a classic or something on the fly based on my choice of spirit and desired flavor profile. Yes, the prices on the two drinks I ordered were pretty steep, but they were comparable to prices I've paid in Las Vegas. Plus, I don't have a problem with paying a premium for a well-made cocktail made with premium ingredients in a comfortable, welcoming setting (the drunken guy next to me who tried to engage with me in a political discussion excluded). Bottom-line: Roquette was a revelation. It served up two of the best cocktails that I've had this year. I can't recommend it enough and it'll be at the top of my list of places to hit the next time I'm in town.
