Here's why our experience has been superior to previous companies: All three specialists were not only punctual, friendly, and courteous, but they took their time to evaluate our issues in CLEAR layman terms corroborated by photos, and showing us exactly where the problems were in person. We previously obtained a quote from a large corporate company and was left feeling dumbfounded and stressed as they described the nature of our problem in engineering, technical jargon that made absolutely no sense, including astronomical quotes without explanation of the work entailed. We continued experiencing intermittent issues with our AC and heater so we called Friends & Family based on their excellent reviews. This time around, with Friends & Family, we left feeling knowledgeable and reassured, with reasonable quotes including various discount eligibility. We didn't feel pressured by them to choose one route vs. the other; rather, gained the information we needed to make an informed decision that would prevent such issues in the future. Similarly, my kids were running amuck and screaming and shouting while I attempted to maintain a conversation with ALFRED. He was very understanding and continued to engage in conversation, appearing unbothered by the chaos with a pleasant disposition. Lastly, DOMENICK was appointed on the day of our son's birthday. We made a phone call and had an appointment scheduled the next day at 11am. Our technician, Marcus, showed up early and got right to it. We live in a condo with some tight spaces and our unit, we knew already, was outdated and going to require an extensive diagnosis. Marcus was very professional, extremely thorough and made sure he covered all basis considering our circumstance. After diagnosing and checking with his team it was determined that our unit would need to be replaced. The refreshing part of this was that there wasn't an upsell or attempt to pressure us into a huge financial decision, but rather a professional assessment with about 3 options and recommendations with those options on what we'd be looking at in the event of our decision. We don't feel that the quotes were outrageous, but did realize that it would be a big job and time consuming nonetheless. Not once did he make us feel as though we had no reasonable options, but rather we were comforted to know that whatever decision we made was going to with a technician and company that knew what they were talking about, they knew how to tackle each option with efficient and reliable service and guaranteed work! The tech spoke to my mother in Spanish, my cousin speaks and understands Spanish, and she also stands firm that no options were given to my mother regarding the option of hydrojetting and liner. If there were options my mother would have chosen the lesser cost. We are very upset with the dishonesty of this company.
