Im very impressed by the service. The hostess sat us down within 5 minutes despite my friends and I not having a reservation. The servers were attentive and took our plates away almost immediately after we finished our food. The ambiance was dimly lit but still bright enough to eat comfortably. I was a little nervous about bringing my infant at first, but the hostess and waitresses were very accommodating and made me feel comfortable right away. We went for a friend's birthday and ordered the filet, crispy skin salmon, and short rib. Everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The drinks were strong and well balanced which made them great for celebrating. For dessert, we had to get the sticky toffee pudding and it was absolutely amazing. The hotel front desk ran out of the extra gifts/perk and she worked it out with the manager to have me pick out a shirt. Service at the table was okay but I noted it was really upcharge heavy. We were a walk-in, it was a slow friday night. The staff was busy with a 40-top reservation so the service was unfortunately slow. However the service from the whole wait staff was amazing. We stayed at Harrah's resort for a few days and after being so disappointed with the resort itself I have to say our dinner at HK was the highlight of our trip. From the minute we walked in we were greeted by a friendly hostess, the wait time was as expected less than five minutes to get our table ready. I have always wanted to try Hell's Kitchen, having been a fan of the show when I was younger and always drooling over the thought of trying a beef wellington. Well I finally got that chance and made the most of it! I and a friend ordered numerous appetizers and entrees to get a full experience of the menu, and here is what I found. Service: friendly and attentive, though they do take their time to serve the table at points. Ambiance: very regal but being that it is in a casino, does come off as a bit tacky at times (not to mention all the Hell's Kitchen show references and the weird Gordon Ramsay hologram at the front). Appetizers: the Wagyu Meatballs were incredible and stole the show from the rest of the appetizers, with the Lobster Risotto being second for the great lobster atop a well cooked Risotto, and Tuna Tartare being third for the unimaginative plating and small portion size. Entrees: the Beef Wellington was amazing, and really the whole reason I had dined there in the first place. It did not disappoint, but I have been craving it since. The Filet Mignon was surprisingly not that great, and I ate my portion more to not waste it rather than enjoying it, but the crab/asparagus topper made up for what the steak itself lacked. 3.5 stars... I'll round up! I've been wanting to try Hell's Kitchen for years. I'm a big Gordan Ramsey fan and watch all his TV shows. I finally got a chance to go and try them thanks to a neighbor friend. it's located inside Harrah's casino If om not mistaken, I believe its where the buffet used to be. As far as the restaurant inside, its stunning. We arrived as soon as they open at 5 and was seated right away. Our server, who I think was named Brandon. No maybe James? I can't remember but he provided excellent customer service. There was another person coming around making sure we were never out of water. We started with a Caesar salad for the table (5 people). Don't let that term fool ya- It's a single serving honestly, but we all managed to try a bite. I thought it was good, needed a pinch of salt though. They are also heavy on the Caesar dressing because it was "wet" if that makes sense. I couldn't see myself coming here without trying the Beef Wellington. I was hesitant based on the price alone $72, but I ordered it. Everyone else at the table ordered filet mignon $64. I already knew what the plate would look like because I like to look at reviews and pictures before I arrive, then form my own opinion. I will say this, If you're starving, I would skip Hell's Kitchen. The portions are little to none and the prices are crazy high. You are truly paying for the experience of saying you went to Hell's Kitchen. The Beef Wellington was extremely small in my opinion. Maybe a 6-8 oz. It comes with a smear, and I mean a smear of potato puree (which is really the star of the plate) and glazed root vegetables two little pieces of sliced carrot and two pieces or celery root (?). If you watch the show you know the only way to serve the BW is medium rare, which is how I like my steak My Beef Wellington arrived a perfect medium rare. Taste was underwhelming. It was tender and very easy to cut through, but no seasoning whatsoever. The filo dough was also a little soggy. Am I glad I tried it, absolutely, would I order it again, absolutely not. If I could order $74 worth of that potato puree, I would. It was so good, smooth like butter I wanted to lick my plate haha. As a table we also ordered a few sides, mac and cheese, cauliflower, and asparagus. All sides are $15, and again, extremely small portion, not enough to share. I only tasted the asparagus, which was ok, nothing special. For dessert, I tried the infamous sticky toffee pudding (just a bite because it was birthday portion) and also tried a bite of the Chocolate sin cake. I'm a huge Gordon Ramsay fan, so even though I'm not a gambler, I booked a room at Harrah's and made rezzie on Christmas Eve specifically to experience Hell's Kitchen. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the appetizer was excellent. Everything was great--until the steak arrived. My boyfriend ordered his steak medium rare, but it was clearly cooked medium, bordering on medium well. We know what medium rare tastes and looks like, and after taking a bite, we politely mentioned it to the server. Unfortunately, instead of acknowledging the issue, she insisted it was medium rare and suggested we cut into the center to check. We did--and it was still medium. Steak doesn't magically change doneness just because you slice it. Honestly, if Gordon Ramsay were there, I'm pretty sure he'd say: "This steak is so overcooked, it's no longer well done--it's congratulations!" Had the server simply owned the mistake instead of telling us we didn't know what medium rare looks like, I would've still given this place four stars. Came here to celebrate me and my husband's 18th year anniversary. First off, I am a fan of Gordon Ramsey, so I was really excited to have finally tried one of his well-known restaurants. I made a reservation and was seated within minutes. All the staffs we have came across were friendly and professional. Our waiter did well at keeping our drinks filled and checking in on us. We actually had a few people check in on us. Lastly, the presentation of everything we ordered was very inviting. We ordered: *She Devil; a raspberry cocktail drink. Not a very strong drink but overall delicious. I also love a drink that has whipped egg whites because it adds that extra texture. *HK Grand Shellfish Tower; this seafood tower came with jumbo shrimps, mussels, clams, oysters, king crab legs, and lobster tails. If I were to ever come back here, this is a must get for me. Everything on this tower tasted great. One minor problem was that one of our lobster shell turned up empty and one our king crab leg was missing some part of the meat. Must have fallen out during cooking/prepping, however the staff was very accommodating and gave us an extra. *Prime New York Steak w/ a side of potato puree and mâitre d' butter; This is the only entree we got because I knew I'd get full from the shellfish tower. I really enjoyed the potato puree as it tasted light and creamy. On the other hand, the compound butter just tasted like regular butter and the steak was slightly too cooked than what we asked for, and it was under-seasoned. *Coconut 3-ways; A dessert item that made us feel happy! It came with a coconut sorbet. The cubed coconut cake added texture, and the sourness of the passionfruit syrup perfectly balanced out the dessert. *Sticky toffee pudding w/ a scoop of ice cream; Another one that we both really enjoyed. Everything we've tried is delicious. Don't forget about the specialty cocktails too. Our usual order is the pre-fixe menu which has a choice of a salad or scallops, beef Wellington, and the butterscotch cake with ice cream. We had been dreaming of this dinner for so long since my son is a huge Hell's Kitchen fan, so this was a really meaningful, celebratory night for us. And the food? Almost entirely incredible. The menu is on the smaller side, but everything we ordered was delicious ,the bone marrow starter was a showstopper, the mac and cheese had my little one completely over the moon, and the Beef Wellington is everything it's cracked up to be and then some. I would genuinely go back just for that Wellington. The scallops were slightly overcooked, and the sticky toffee pudding wasn't our absolute favorite dessert ever, but with a prefix menu that good, I'm honestly not complaining. Where things got a little bumpy was with our server, Hector. He didn't check in on us much, and he seemed unfamiliar with the Hell's Kitchen dining credit that came with our room package which left us feeling a bit awkward and unsure. He also seemed stretched thin, often juggling another server's orders while taking ours, and we just didn't feel like we had his full attention on what was a really big night for our family. Pan seared scallops - perfectly prepared scallops and nice celery root puree, braised bacon lardons, and pickled granny smith apples. 5 stars. The potato purée was buttery deliciouness and red wine demi-glace was perfect. The root vegetables were pretty lackluster in comparison and seemed undercooked, under-seasoned and just underwhelming. Aside from that this is the all star dish for sure. A big 5++++ stars!! Sticky Toffee Pudding - a little over saturated with syrup and suuuuper sweet but excellent flavor. The cake itself was fantastic but there was way too much syrup for our liking. 4 stars. In addition to the prix fixe, we also tried out a few additional items: Wagyu meatballs - great flavor meatball with american wagyu and pork. A little drier than I like, but this one is kiddo approved! A salty slow roasted tomato sauce and crispy polenta croutons with parmesan cheese and fried basil were great. 5 stars! Golden beet salad - fresh beets with tasty greek yogurt, kumquats, pistachio granola and white balsamic vinaigrette all came together wonderfully. 4.5 stars. I decided to come back to this specific Hell's Kitchen for my 33rd birthday, and I couldn't be more blessed to have had Anthony and Evan as my servers today. Their service was the most sincere and compassionate I have ever experienced in my entire life, and that's genuinely without a hint of hesitation. From constantly making sure our needs were met, insisting on taking pictures of me and my fiancé in front of the kitchen and the wine room to surprising me with a birthday sticky toffee pudding, these two went above and beyond the quality of service that I couldn't imagine myself experiencing in my lifetime besides whatever my last meal ends up being. From start to finish, I've had the most comfortable and enjoyable time at a restaurant, and it's all thank to the entire staff, especially Anthony and Evan. For sides, we ordered the mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts, and both were underwhelming.
