Timothy's spin of a chocolate martini did not disappoint. Any time I visit Spiked he serves up some of the most delicious cocktails with a twist. His customer service and hospitality is what keeps us coming back although my parter and I are no longer weekly visitors we do try to always make a stop here when we are in town. Prices are pretty fair for a hotel bar and I've honestly never had a bad drink here. The feel of this area is almost nostalgic listening to old classic songs as music videos played on the tvs. The only thing we miss is our bartop black jack game. read more

I always stop by at the front bar when you enter or i visit the back bar when I'm at Harrah's. I've had great bartender's and some meh... they need to go home... Nice chill place with a lot of seats to enjoy your drink or play one of the slot machines. I've always lost money on those machines. The Spike bar in the far back by Earl of Sandwich area is better. I like the couches and of course enjoy walking outside with my drink on a warm day. Overall, I will always return. I just limit my conversation with some of the bartenders. read more

Spiked is one of the hipper bars located at Harrahs. Its got bright pink lights highlighting the alcohol/ bar area that catch your attention. Above the bar are a few televisions displaying some random eighties and nineties music videos. They caught my attention. To the right of the bar is a lounge area where a small band or artist plays music. My drink was delicious. I can't remember the name, but it was off their speciality cocktail menu. I didn't even think Spiked had a Yelp page but they do so here's my review. It's a nice little size with several tables and the tables are for Spiked customers only which is nice because I'm sure you would see none drinking customers there just chilling doing nothing. They have a long bar with about three bartenders mostly guys so it would be nice to have some female bartenders to look at. The bartenders are cool, helpful, but the drinks are a little on the high side$$. I paid 9 bucks for a gin and juice but the gin was Hendrick's which was very tasty. read more

Mixology was on point- the Pampered lady and White mule were amazing. Our bartender, Sarah, created these drinks with her heart and soul. She ran out of jalapeno syrup and made it fresh, talk about going above and beyond. The other bartender, Derek, was super friendly and I could seriously talk to him for hours. First a shout out to a GREAT Bartender; Troy is/should be your "go-to" guy at this bar. Not only does he make one hellofa drink (I am particular, and when I told him how to make my own version of a Blue Raspberry Martini he nailed it right away, and even remembered by the next visit I made to the property a month later!), but he is friendly and fast. The drinks are fairly priced, make sure to give them your TR card when paying to earn RCs. Overall the best spot in the Casino to just sit and hang out for a bit while taking a break from the machines/tables. Comfy seats, good view - people watching is stellar there and I love the old school R&B/Hip-Hop/Top 40 music videos they play in there. Only down fall, like most of this property, there are many times when they are understaffed...trying to serve a bar full of video poker players, the service well AND the "walk-ups" from the comfy seats. Bartender Derek is always there hardworking every time. I've never had bad service here and actually everyone here tends each one pretty quickly. If you aren't playing keno or poker here, order at either end and service gets to you quickly. Great selection for any kind of drinks. They make cucumber vodka tonics, my in the moment drink!! If you are here on weekends they service mimosas for $3 before 12, then it goes up to $6. You can even ask them to add in cranberry of pineapple juice to change up the usual! The drink prices are pretty high because they come strong and that's without the $2 premium extra. The drafts are such a good deal here at Harrahs. Have been waiting for Spiked. to open and it does not disappoint. Beautiful bar with great selection of spirits including old staples like Johnny Walker Blue Label and a yet unopened bottle of Remy Martin Louis XIII. I asked the bartender to make me something with strawberry infused Rain vodka and he created a light and delicious martini, Yumm. My brother ordered Cosmo on the rock which was ok. For round two I had St Germaine martini with egg white and basil and many more ingredients I could ever remember. I just love basil in anything even by itself. The lounge has large and comfy seating area perfect for a pre party, there was a bachelorette party group while we were here. Bartenders who likes to show off his skills are awesome. Over the last couple of years we have had the pleasure of meeting Tiffany who is one of their bartenders. She is absolutely AWESOME and has constantly given us excellent service. She is very professional & efficient, but at the same time is also friendly & personable. She makes a delicious Long Island Ice tea that I have a hard time finding ANYWHERE else! Somehow, I hadn't made it to Spiked in my previous visits, but two weeks ago while staying at Harrah's, I stopped in for a Bloody Mary... OH SO GOOD! Its funny that every bar in the resort makes Bloody Mary's differently - and the pricing varies as well! At this bar, i want to say the Bloody Mary's about about $9, but they really are tasty. I especially love when they load me up with OLIVES! Well, about halfway through the evening, I decided I'd had enough vodka, so I started ordering them virgin style - still delicious, no booze and around $4. I have not tried any other drinks there yet, but I can eyeball a lot of delicious mixers, alcohols, syrups, and bitters around the bar and I'm SURE I'll be back and try some more of the craft cocktails they make here. This bar is located by Total Rewards. It's next to the hotel check in. The lounge area is gorgeous. I actually had my wedding reception at Harrahs Rincon and we took photos at this lounge which came out beautiful. It's a decent sized bar with some video poker/ keno slots. They have a special drink menu and some drinks are really good, some not so much. I give it 2 stars because of a recent visit. My husband and I sat at the bar and there were 2 girls bartenders. One was making drinks for the cocktail waitresses. The other blonde girl with glasses was not working on any orders. She didn't acknowledge us at all. A couple of guys sat at the bar and she took their order right away. She went in front of us and still didn't acknowledge us. Rude! All other bars I go to at least acknowledge us and ask of we've been helped. Finally, the other bartender helped us out. I was pretty disappointed with the service. Maybe you'll get lucky if you go here when there's a better bartender. read more

We stay at this resort about twice a month. We always start our evening / afternoon with drinks and video poker at Spiked. They have the best bartenders (Derrick, Troy, Sherry are a few). Craft beers, great drinks, and the best whiskey sours around. Another benefit are the 80's and 90's music videos playing in large screens behind the bar. read more

Whenever I'm at harrahs and looking for a drink, I usually have been going to this bar. The decor is really nice and modern. It's a great place to grab a drink and chill in the little lounge area they have. They also have video machines at the bar. You can play keno, poker or slots. I would give this review 4 stars for the bar itself. However, the service on the other hand is a different story... The last time my wife and I went there, we got a few drinks at Spiked. The first time we grabbed drinks, it took a while for the 2 bartenders to help us out. It wasn't that busy so not sure what took so long to get served. The issue was the second round of drinks we ordered. We came back and ordered another round. At this point, the bar was pretty empty. Only a few people were there and not ordering drinks. My wife and I sat down waiting to order a drink. The blonde bartender with glasses pretty much ignored us. Her head was always down and didn't really acknowledge we were even there. A guy sat down after us and she helped him and his friends out before us. She even went right in front of us making their drinks and didn't even say she'd help us out or ask if we've been served yet. I had to flag down the other bartender who was making drinks for the waitresses. This was pretty bad service especially with the bar not being busy. Next time if I see that bartender again, I'll remember to go to another bar. read more

Decent bar.. Too much ice and over priced though. The drinks aren't technically watered down, they just have an iceberg in every glass that is just there to make more money (it's a casino). It's still the best bar in the area although it's far from civilization. Bartenders do vigorously shake the drinks to put on a show though which is terrible because that will dilute the flavor of the drink (I don't ever shake drinks I make). Drink prices are about $6 to $11, most being $9 to $11. They have some interesting drinks for sure. read more

They are generous with the shot sizes and the prices are very reasonable. Only $6.25 for a shot of Grey Goose. :I had a tough time deciding how to rate this bar. We frequent Harrah's Socal quite often, in fact my husband and I were just there for 2 nights the week before this incident occurred. I love the Mojitos at the Spiked bar. We have never had a problem and bartenders are for the most part professional and friendly. I brought my parents last Thursday and my mom is not much of a drinker but this particular night she asked if I would get her a Malibu and Pineapple. The first time I ordered I had a bald bartender who made great drinks and my bill was $14.50 later I went up for a second round and a different male/blonde bartender charged me $16.50, I informed him I had just ordered the same thing earlier and it was cheaper, he said well this one is a double (referring to Malibu), I told him I didn't want a double, it was clear he threw a drag and threw the drink out rather dramatically and made a new one. I watched him make the new one and he barely put a splash of Malibu from the bottle, when he handed me the drink I told him he barely gave me a full pour and he responded "we do an ounce". I just left him a dollar got our drinks and walked away, I'm usually a decent tipper $2-3 per drink; I regret leaving him anything. When my mom sipped her drink she asked why I just got her Pineapple juice, she's not even a drinker and she noticed!! I realize it was just $2 but when your are gambling, having a good time and something like this happens it kind of kills your mojo, and if you are superstitious as many gamblers are you feel like luck may not be on your side. His $2 scam could have cost the casino $100 because I just finished my drink and went up stairs instead of staying to gamble because I was not going to go back to him for another drink. I just hope this isn't normal practice for the floor bars. I caught him sneaking an upsale he should have just apologized and made me a decent new drink instead of pitching a fit. read more
