He would get drunk and get nasty with the patrons. I always kept my distance from him as his wife would run the place while he sat at the same stool drinking. On more than one occasion, I saw him try to start a physical altercation with a customer. I saw a man come into the Fogg and try to apologize to the owner for an incident that happened the night before. Instead of accepting the man's apology, the owner threatened to slap the piss out of him if he ever set foot in his pub again. The owner and his wife always seemed to be arguing with their suppliers too and saying that the suppliers were trying to rip them off. I guess that I'm not really surprised that the Fogg closed.
