Can't miss it

A chill place to have a drink or two and listen to live music. The bar area is huge and the lounge area is very welcoming. Situated just outside of the event center, it's a great place to mingle before or after a show. It's a far walk from the hotel elevators or lobby but only steps off from all the casino action. There's a few TVs and slots nearby so if you want to take your drink with you - you can. There's a fire pit and more additional seating to allow you more time to reflect on life. The bartenders are friendly and keep the drinks coming. It's where last call is when you're ready for last call... Drink responsibly. Remember to tip well.

Definitely a wino spot! Came in the afternoon to enjoy a glass of wine and some super chill live music. We were lucky the band playing that night was very good. There are plenty of very comfortable couches to lounge around in, and the bar area is very spacious, and each seat at the bar has a poker machine in front of you, just like Vegas, so you can gamble and drink at the same time. The wine selection is very good, and they definitely have a wide range, from $6/glass to high end $75/glass. The setting is very classy and very relaxing. The bartenders were very friendly and humorous. I talked to 2 of them, and they even made me a special drink and asked me to name the drink. Very cool!

" One Less Monkey Rocks " My wife and I visited Harrah's Southern California Resort and enjoyed " One Less Monkey ". This 3 piece band was AWESOME ! There was so many people in the Corked Lounge that night, the Band decided to play right through their break period to please everyone. Which band does that ? The drummer of this band was one of the best I have ever seen or heard. You just could not take your eyes off of him as he was so entertaining, He Spanked, Slammed, and Pounded the drums and symbols with theatrical specialty, throughout every tune that the band played. A very enjoyable evening of music and wine tasting in the Corked Lounge. We will definitely be back to see " One Less Monkey "

It was okay, seating but pretty drab. Don't think they have the dueling pianos any more.

Food: 5 Service: 5…read moreAmbiance: 5 Hidden gem alert! Tucked into an unassuming strip mall, you would never guess such a sexy, sophisticated spot is sitting right in the middle of it all. From the moment we walked into Fugghedabout, we were stunned. The space is dark, sultry, lightly dimmed, and incredibly chic, something you'd never expect here. It has a very grown up, intimate vibe (21+ only), perfect for date night or a night out with friends. We were lucky enough to visit on a night with live music (they have it Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays), and it completely set the mood. Even though it wasn't very busy, the energy was wonderful and the music was excellent. Service was top notch. Meghan was fantastic, friendly, attentive, accommodating, and so helpful throughout the meal. Faith, the owner, also stopped by several times to check on us, which earned major points. Such a sweet touch and much appreciated. Now the food... wow. We started with the seared scallop special topped with caviar, and it was outstanding, perfectly cooked, with the caviar adding just the right touch of saltiness. Honestly, we wanted to order more. The hot goat cheese with hot honey appetizer was delicious and so comforting. Definitely get extra bread, you'll want it. Since it was Taco Tuesday, we tried the taco trio with chicken, steak, and shrimp. The steak and shrimp were standouts. The chicken was slightly dry, but overall we really enjoyed them. And the biggest surprise of the night was the shrimp and sausage skillet. Absolutely incredible. So flavorful and rich, and again we needed more bread to soak up every bit of that delicious sauce. We also ordered the crème brûlée for dessert, which was good. The sugar topping was slightly thick, and I'll admit I'm a bit of a dessert snob, so while we enjoyed it, the meal itself was really the shining star of the night. I'm already dreaming about my next visit. I was genuinely impressed by everything, service, ambiance, food, and live music. This place is a whole vibe. Five stars all the way. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing food in a sultry, intimate setting. I've already recommended it to several friends. Thank you Meghan and Faith for such a great night. We'll definitely be back!

Fuhgeddaboudit! But my visit was so memorable that I will never forget about it!…read more Faith (owner) really has something special in Windomar, CA., just off of the Clinton Keith exit of Interstate 15. Imagine an elegant Wine Bar with dim lighting, an Old Skool atmosphere, and a wine list and menu of entrees and appetizers that will challenge any palate, compliments of Chef Orquedea. It was our first visit, arriving just as they opened, and having the whole romantic, classy speakeasy all to ourselves, our server Megan, made us feel right at home. Ensuring we received a little history about the establishment, the day's specials, and what some of their customers' favorites. To begin the experience, we received complimentary glasses of sparkling wine in celebration of their one-year anniversary, which was a nice touch. After a brief moment, we settled on sausage and three-cheese skillet appetizers with a house baguette. The two dishes arrived piping hot, gooey, and enticing! Amazingly delicious to say the least! Kudos to their place settings, glassware, and cloth napkins. Our selected wine was excellent as well, and the selection is very worldly and admirable. THIS is my favorite date place in the area!!! Chill, fashionable, comfortable seating, gorgeous bar, soft music in the background allowing for conversation, and the restroom provides a pleasant surprise as well. Hours of operation hover around Happy Hour and dinner, closing at 9 PM on weekdays and 10 pm on Friday and Saturday. Looking forward to enjoying their live entertainment and themed events in the future, at which time I will follow up on this review. Thank you, Faith, Megan & Orquedea for a wonderful time.--

Lively, diverse, energized full of bright faces that bring light to the dimly lit space. Service was stellar - attentive, on it, anticipated needs/preferences before they were even addressed. A quick anecdote, the waitress made PROACTIVE decisions knowing I am Vegan, not just reactive - a rare thing outside of high dining restaurant. Red wine flight included a fantastic Cab & Cab Reserve, and a "very good" Pinot...and that's coming from a person who does not drink Pinot. I didn't care for the blend but then again I never care for a blend as it is. Food was "American" style tapas - small plates of well crafted foods ranging from flatbread pizza to meatballs to vege pockets and (for me) a "Vegan Stack" composed of rice, mango, avocado, and a delicious spicy mayo. Tiramisu dessert disappeared in all of 20 seconds, well plated and beautifully crafted. You will not leave La Fe thinking to yourself "that was the greatest food I've ever had," but you may just leave thinking "this was the best time with my friends I've ever had" - and THAT is what this restaurant is for -- Bring your friends for a night on the town, bring your family for an energized reunion, bring yourself for a social time itch-scratching. In other words, this restaurant has a unique PLACE in the Palm Desert area: it is the place to happy social.

My two issues, one in the beginning they had about 5 bars open. During intermission they only had two bars open for hundreds of people. My second issue was, they only had one bathroom for the men and one for the women. The line was long and wrapped around the event center. Due the long line for the bar we were only able to get a drink before the concert. As well they had no re-entry, If you walked out to use another restroom or the bar, you could not come back in. I would definitely come back to watch another concert and next time I'll make sure to use the restroom before the concert cans buy 2 big drinks before the concert.

The worst and major problem: the sound is just execrable. There has been improvement made over the past 4 years however it's still very bad. The venue's acoustic is obviously not designed for music... Like many other music venue, Harrah's gouges prices on drinks. The seating is not comfortable, and I struggled a couple of times to reach my seats within our row (the seating is more like a convention center setup). I do not recommend this venue unless the artist is "one of a kind" that you really want to see, locally.
