You would think that coming in at 12 a.m., when it isn't a busy time, the service would be decent, but this was probably the worst AYCE sushi experience I've ever had. We were there for over an hour and only received one round of food, despite the time limit being an hour and a half. Our server was friendly but unfortunately not attentive. Several items we ordered never arrived, and every time we asked about them, we were told, "It's on the way," but they never came. While the server explained that there was only one sushi chef working, so orders would take longer, it's still unreasonable to wait over an hour and repeatedly ask for missing dishes. The nigiri was about 80% rice, and although the fish quality itself wasn't bad, advertising fatty tuna on the menu and serving regular tuna instead was misleading. Overall, the experience was disappointing and not worth the price. Save your money and go elsewhere! read more

Tried this spot in Fullerton after golfing and enjoyed the different variety of rolls. Pricing for Ayce is 40 per person during the weekend which is pretty standard. There's 3 rounds that you're able to order from, and some fishes are limited 1 piece per person. I was excited to try the bluefin tuna, but bummed to only having the chance to eat once piece. My favorite role was the strawberry lemon, which has salmon, strawberry, and cream cheese. It was surprisingly really refreshing. Sesame chicken was not very tasty for an app, but we did enjoy the fried mussels. Service was very quick and did not have a long wait, in order to be seated. read more

I loved their cucumber salad and the AYCE options - we didn't realize all the fresh and baked rolls were available on the back of the AYCE sheet until the third round, so make sure you check the back! slipped my mind haha Mixed tempers was delightfully crispy and well cooked veggies - not too hard and just right. Aside from appetizers, the rice to fish ratio was great for nigiri! Service was quick, they repeatedly came and checked in to make sure we were good. They gave us the baby high chair first then we asked for the booster seat - and it was AWESOME that they had that as an option. It worked perfectly for our six month old had just learned to sit up by himself. For cons if I had to mention one, was that the Albacore carpaccio was slightly fishy. It was pretty on brand for an AYCE sushi restaurant but I do feel like some rolls seemed fresher than others. All of the sashimi pieces were fresh and not fishy! The staff was also very friendly and welcoming & the best part was my stomach didn't hurt! They have bar, table, and booth seating. The inside is very beautifully themed with pictures and murals on the walls! When I went with my family for dinner, they were offering the option to choose the Lunch or Dinner AYCE price. Tasted very old, frozen, dry, and unappetizing. Even the fried lobster/crawfish topping on the roll tasted like old, soggy oil. I couldn't believe there were good reviews for this restaurant. Maybe food is better in person but I would never go back here again. We were so hungry we tried to eat what we can but ended up throwing away about half of the food. Would have appreciated if they had explained the promo to save customers the confusion. Selection was pretty extensive and the fish was decently fresh. However, do wish they would reduce some of the rice. Overall for $19.99, it was worth it and I left this place satisfied. I stopped by this this AYCE sushi spot located in the Metrocenter in Fullerton. There is plenty of parking, although when it is busy there are plenty of nearby businesses that are packed. The inside seats about 50 at a time I would say. I saw that they were doing a $20 AYCE lunch happy hour special from 12-3 so I decided to stop by. The menu excludes nigiri/premium items but the rest of the menu was available for eat. I tempered my expectations since it was such a good price and braced for what I thought would be a subpar sushi experience. I was pleasantly surprised to find the rolls I got while simple, were certainly enjoyable. I got the Giant salmon roll, alaska roll, and baked salmon roll (are you seeing a trend here?). The giant salmon roll has a little bit of a spicy sauce drizzled on top which made it the perfect bite. The Alaska roll was solid as well and tasted fresh. The baked salmon roll was tasty but they go a little heavy on the sauce which makes it a tad overwhelming. While we did have to wait a bit due to the line forming outside, the servers were attentive and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. Overall a pretty satisfactory AYCE sushi experience.
