I've been to Hello Robin just a handful of times throughout the years but it has been equally good each time. The flavors are fun and change periodically and I appreciate that they offer Vegan and Gluten free options for some of my friends. I frequent toe UW location but have been to the Cap Hill one has well and both offer impeccable service and a very clean and sweet-smelling store. I like that the cookies are smaller as I tend to eat smaller portions and that means I can try a few flavors in one go. I would say my favorite is brown butter snickerdoodle or the molasses, depending on my mood, but so far all the cookies I've had have been delicious. They're the puffier kind of cookie and are moist with a little bit of a bite to it. Never too sweet either. Definitely a good place to try! read more

We questioned whether Hello Robin was worth the 13 minute walk in the cold weather but these cookies did not disappoint!! We got the Mackles'more and Brown Butter Snickerdoodle cookies. To our surprise, the chocolate on the Mackes'more was still gooey even though the cookie was not reheated. This was so tasty! The cookies are great. The Bellevue location is small, you literally just walk up order cookies and go. My only issue is the customer service experience we had on Saturday. The cashier went from super friendly and nice and when we checked out, she didn't even speak to us, didn't even say thank you come again. My partner and I realized this after we decided to leave a cash tip instead of a tip on our card. Her attitude went from super happy to see us to pissed off that we didn't leave a tip on our card an opted for cash instead. Hands down, THE best cookies in Seattle, and really my favorite I've had anywhere (I may have spent days previously buying cookies in SF 7x7 just to see who had the best one in the area before). I've tasted all the others (that a know of in Seattle, that also claim to be the best) and this is where it's the most true. Robin herself is super down-to-earth, making time for me to pick up dough safely during quarantine cravings (and stock up at the same time) and inspired me to create my own cookie doughs to be not as sweet and well balanced. The balance of the cookies is perfection. The flour/sugar/butter ratio is such that you're not leaving grease marks, there isn't a cloying sweetness and there's no leftover taste of flour. She keeps the ingredients real and the Molly Moon ice cream combo is *chef's kiss. I know a lot of people are saddened to miss out on the nutty side of cookies, but she provides dough that you could easily roll into some crush/toasted nuts before baking and have just what you're looking for. I heard about HR through the Theo cookbook because of the Mackles'mores recipe and have brought down the house a time or two when providing them for Memorial Day cookouts (I highly recommend using the 55% salted toffee and/or 70%). She's also great about putting other local businesses on blast and I've found other greats I frequent when I run my "real" Seattle errands.
