I needed help moving my furniture from my upstairs studio apartment into storage and Hello Movers were an excellent choice! They came extremely prepared and wrapped my furniture in plastic and transported it into their moving truck. Both of the men who helped me were very efficient and got all my large items and boxes out of the apartment in 30 minutes!! Your service saved me time and injuries and peace of mind. I'm telling all my friends who are moving. Thank you again. I will be contacting again for future moves. read more

Especially compared to SOS Movers I used in 2020, this crew was awful in so many ways. I made a 2pm booking with Hello Movers and didn't have a crew arrive until 6pm. The movers were slow and seemed tired. They did not wrap anything to protect it whatsoever, unless I instructed them to wrap each specific item --even when it was raining out-- and nobody in their crew spoke much English. Around 10:30pm, the one guy who spoke some English kept trying to offer alternatives to the job not being done that day as planned, but the alternatives offered were all things that would cost me even more money and inconvenience than if we did it in one trip as originally ordered. Another crew was called in to replace the ones who needed to sleep, and the large truck finally pulled up to the rainy residential area at 12:30AM. It wasn't until AFTER 3am the job was finished, and several items were damaged. read more

We moved from south bay to east bay today and hire hello movers for our move. They arrived right on time and finish our move within four hours. Extremely reliable!!! Highly recommend!! read more

Unfortunately after using Hello Movers 3 years in a row, we had a horrible experience. They broke 2 of our TVs, including a Frame TV. After initially saying they would compensate us for the TVs, they ghosted us and now we're having to file in small claims court. I'm also fairly confident their moving trucks tracked cockroaches into the house. Would not use them or recommend. read more

I've used this company three times now, they do a great job, reasonable price. They were able to pack and load our one bedroom apartment, transferred to new location about 20 minutes away and unload everything in under 6 hours. ( we just about filled the semi truck completely). I highly recommend them for next move read more

Very good service. Speedy move. Great value. 5 hours is worth it. Highly recommended. Always use

Excellent moving experience for my move from a 1 bedroom apartment to a new 1 bedroom apartment! They were fast and efficient! My large furniture was wrapped for protection; these items along with my boxes and plants were loaded and unloaded in two hours. I would use there services again. Using Google translate was not a burden. All you need is a game plan for how you want your items moved and then clearly convey your needs. The moving team are friendly and hardworking. read more

These guys were outstanding in a number of ways: 1. Responsiveness. Unlike many of the other moving firms that received my very detailed project details, Hello Movers quickly understood what I was looking for and got back to me in less than 30 minutes. 2. Hello Movers provided a quote with a very reasonable hourly rate, and without all the silly add-ons such as truck fee, etc. 3. Hello Movers arrived at the pickup spot 15 minutes EARLY! 4. Hello Movers worked quickly and efficiently in moving my stuff from one location to another without any damage or delay. I highly recommend this moving company! read more

Very happy that the move went smoothly, the folks worked very hard to wrap and move the pieces with caution.

Two gentlemen showed up 5 mins early. Txted me they were there. They didn't speak English which didn't matter. They were strong, and very careful with my things. They moved 2 5x10 storage units furniture into the truck and had everything in my new place and finished at noon. WOW I was so impressed I tipped them generously. read more

We used Hello Movers to move our house. They did an excellent job - from loading, unloading, assembling furniture, putting things in the right place nicely, moving stuff around and a lot more. A 15 hour move is not easy - but they did it with a constant smile on their faces and were ready to help with anything we asked them for. They even helped remove and dispose off garbage and other items from our house. Very quick and perfect service. We will definitely use them again if needed read more

Very cost effective. Movers are fast and took good care of my move. But they came in 2.5 hrs later than my appointment time

Late for two hours and was a little disappointed, but overall very professional and provided great service! read more

Over all, the moved was okay. I had no complaints when they were moving things. Communication was difficult since they don't speak a lot of English. They tried to wrap everything as much as they could which was appreciated. One of my main issues started when they finished unloading everything. Since they don't speak or read English well, there were a few boxes where they stacked all the heavy items ie. Canned goods and books, on top of FRAGILE items. This happened on a few stacks. I also noticed a crack and chip on my main dresser. The way the mover tilted and lifted it out too much pressure on the foot of the dresser. I saw and heard while he did this, but I did not say anything. Not complaining about it since it's only a crack but I want to put all the details in. Aside from the move they add an automatic tip to themselves per mover which was not stated. I had no idea at the time when I payed since they were so cheap. Tip was twenty five each mover. My complaint is the 55inch Samsung TV that they moved. I had not touched it for 10 days since they set it down. I didn't set it up yet since I don't watch a lot of tv and wanted to get settled with everything first. When I removed the wrap that they put, my wife saw a bubble on the bottom. We plugged it in and there it was. Damaged TV. I'll post pictures. Talked to them and asked if they had insurance. They said it took too long for me to claim insurance. I reported it to them 10 days after the move, how is that long? And why does insurance have a time limit? Maybe they don't really have insurance! I don't know but it seems sketchy. Tv was about $600. I said pay half at least! They said no. Overall, you get what you pay for. I thought I saved money by hiring these guys, but I'm out 330 plus 600 cost of my tv. SMH. I really wanted to like these guys and write a good review for them. But the way they handled this damaged tv was no good. I would not hire these guys even if they are the cheapest out there. You will also get the cheapest quality service. read more

Fantastic movers at a great price. We moved from San Jose to LA and Hello Movers were the best. They showed up on time and went above and beyond. We had a difficult stairwell to navigate at our new place but the movers found a way to make it work. Best moving company I've ever used. read more

I hired them about 1 years ago and I was very happy with their service, so hired them again and got totally disappointed! One of the movers had very bad attitude, they refused to load all my stuff although there was space in the truck but he didn't accept to load more! My furniture got dirty and they disassembled some furniture and didn't assemble carefully, some falling apart. The price was good but never hire them again! read more

I had a great experience with these movers. I called the day before they were out the next morning exactly at 9 AM like they said they brought two guys just like they said, and in three hours they had my 15 foot truck filled methodically perfectly, and they were very polite. I would recommend them to anyone. Ed read more

Hello movers are awesome! They have competitive pricing and worked hard and fast. They ran into some difficulty moving the refrigerator but eventually figured it out. We were holding our breath while they tried to get it out of the door! They made sure everything was wrapped up and protected. None of the furnitures nor electronics got damaged. Efficient Careful Thought it was too good to be true, ended up being such a deal! We moved from a second story unit to a ground floor property. We packed all of our dish ware and small things into boxes, but contacted Jia Zhifu to move the big and heavy things. TOTALLY WORTH IT! WOULD WORK WITH JIA AND BARRY WITHOUT A DOUBT! I was hesitant based on how many reviews they have but don't be scared. I also requested 3 movers, but he confidently told me I wouldn't need it with two masters. They worked around our schedule, they were respectful, careful and didn't waste any time. They truly are MASTERS. THANKS GUYS! read more

Pretty good service as far as communication but unfortunately, all of my wood furniture ended up with huge deep scratches. The pieces are all cusyom and quite expensive and that was really dissapointing to see that they have deep huge scratches from not being properly unloaded. I also noticed that they unloaded things all over the place and yes it was quick, but they did not pay attention to the boxes marked 'fragile.' Hesistated to leave this reveiw but, it was important to share my experience. read more

It was very easy to book with them on short notice. Unfortunately, they did arrive 2 hours late. They did notify us but that was a bit inconvenient. Once they arrived the 2 movers really hustled and had our studio apartment packed up in less than an hour. Luckily we made it to my storage unit just on time before they closed. I was surprised they did not take credit cards so make sure you have cash or check. Reasonable pricing. read more

I have good moving experience with Hello Mover. After I reached out to them on yelp. The owner responded super faster and got my moving date secured. The two movers show up on time and moved all my packed boxes really fast. Mr. Zuo and Mr. Lou are super detailed oriented people. I asked them to take apart my furniture, they would put all the screws in plastic wrap to make sure not to lose them. Non of my furniture or the floor get scratched. Overall, it's super good experience. I would definitely work with them again in the future! read more

I used hello movers for my recent move. they were efficient, and their fee for service was reasonable. Unfortunately, a few of my glass items were broken, my furniture had leaves from a dirty truck on them. They did not cover the carpet while moving items in and out. They also stacked my boxes on top of each other and then wrapped plastic around them. I could not read what I had labeled the box was. I had heavy boxes stacked that were hard to unload because I could not move them. I would not use them again. I received a text after posting my review from the company. I am assuming it was the owner, he apologized for the broken items and refunded me for the damage. I am happy that the company did the right thing and took accountability. read more

It was super easy to reach out for a quote using Yelp. The process of setting up an appointment was very fast. The movers arrived and were very kind. I don't speak Chinese, but we were easily able to communicate using an app to translate for us. We had 2 movers who worked well together and were very efficient. I didn't have many items to move, but they were quite heavy objects, so I was very impressed by how they were able to get everything wrapped, loaded, and unloaded quickly and with care. This was the first time we employed a moving company and I was scared of the unknown. After it's all said and done, I am so happy I didn't go with the usual UHaul option. Hello Movers we're quick to respond, available on short notice and did an extraordinary job moving us from Pleasanton to Livermore. They showed up on time ( 20 minutes earlier, which was perfect), worked hard the entire time and didn't damage a single thing. The price is one of the best out of 12 quotes are ever on Yelp.
