I absolutely love ice cream and Hello Honey did not disappoint. I started out by sampling the peanut butter brownie and espresso brittle flavors. Both were delicious. I decided to go with the espresso, and I normally always order peanut butter anywhere, and went with the s'mores sundae. The gentleman worker was friendly and played some great music. Would definitely return to try more homemade flavors as they seem to change, and try out some other sundaes! read more

Actually had an amazingly patient man waiting on me. I had lots of questions! He even let me try the ice cream with little silver tasting spoons. Lots of good flavors that are special to this mom and pop store. I heard the cheesecakes are amazing. I ended up buying ice cream on a stick. I forgot what it was called but I've attached a pic. It was pistachio ice cream between two chocolate chip cookies then dipped in chocolate. Yum! Prices are actually good too. I would def recommend this ice cream stop. read more

Cute little ice cream shop that we just happened to find. Walking by it looked like it was closed. We did not see any employees and nobody was in the store. We tried the doors and they were open so we went in. I had a single scoop of honey lavender ice cream in a bowl. Very interesting flavor. I've never had this before. My boyfriend had peanut butter crunch in a freshly made cone. The cone crumbled easily, but was good. Everything was tasty here. read more

Hello Honey - This marshmallow makes a huuuuge difference! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Cincinnati, Ohio

Let me tell you about the best ice cream I have ever had. It's called party in your mouth, and it's made with bourbon. I had the opportunity to try some of this "party in your mouth" when I went to Hello Honey this week and a customer recommended it to me. I got it with an eclair that was creamy and sweet, with a taste that danced on my tongue for a while and made it that much better. It was warmed up, too. There's little I can say other than to say that every single bite of this ice cream was worth 5 stars. read more

Best flavors and nicest people ever. You have to get the toasted marshmallow on top. It's a homemade marshmallow that they torch in front of you - so fun. My favorite is the peanut butter pistachio or any of the bourbon variations. Not crazy about the location just because we don't find ourselves there often but it's worth seeking out just for the ice cream!! read more

The next time I tried the charcoal ice cream and banana honey toast! Everything is perfect! Please don't have it in a cup, try their waffle cone!!! No regret! (With a torched marshmallow on top, of course) This is handmade ice cream, the wife of the owner went to France to study how to make ice creams so that's why it's amazing! read more

When first walking into the store my breath was taken away by the clean look, it was nice to be somewhere in which the space did not feel closed in by things. I got a dip of Salted Caramel Chocolate Dipped Waffle Cone in a cone which provided me with a dessert that was refreshing and the perfect amount of sweetness. Also the cone had a hint of honey which made for a great end to the ice cream. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody who like ice cream on any level. read more

This is some of the best ice cream ever. The flavors are so good! They are unique and soft and delicious. I had honeycomb and it was the best thing ever. The people are nice and the portions are good. My one complaint is the building that it lives I. Is like a food market and down there hall I saw a huge rat. Gross! read more

Wow! Just, wow!! I take ice cream very seriously, so believe me when I tell you, this place does ice right! I visited for the first time today with my dad. They're awesome about letting you sample, which is good because I can be super indecisive. I tried the brownies and cream first and the brownies pieces were perfect. The Brownie Time Sundae brownie uses the very same brownie, so I knew that was a win! Then it was just a matter or what ice cream to put on top of it. The Brown Butter Caramel was so sweet and full of flavor. But in the end, Peanut Butter Brittle won out. I'm really not a brittle fan, but the peanut butter ice cream was so rich and the brittle was such a sweet caramel that it totally surprised. I also decided top it with on of their toasted marshmallows because...why wouldn't I??? This sundae was perfection! The brownie was sweet, soft and moist. And this ice cream was some of the creamiest ice cream I have ever tasted! It wasn't icy in the least. The only teeny, tiny, itsy, bitsy complaint I have is that their hot fudge hardens quickly. So if you don't eat it right away, you'll have some chocolate chunks stuck to your plate. I will definitely be returning to Hello Honey! read more

What a delightful little ice cream shop in the business district of downtown Cincinnati! Some friends and I walked in after a light lunch, and we were ready for anything on the menu. I was amazed by their choices that were listed on a big board above the tables. We had checked out the photos on yelp! beforehand and everyone wanted their dish topped with a toasted marshmallow. We were met by a smiling woman who was happy to help with any questions we had. I was overwhelmed by the flavors list, so I ordered the brownie sundae with a toasted marshmallow for $1 extra. This-made-my-day!!! You know a place is awesome when they break out a blow torch. The treats came out quickly on a cute bamboo tray. The dishes were perfect and the ice cream was smooth and perfect over the hot brownie. The toasted marshmallow made me think I was right back at Girl Scout camp, but with plumbing and clean clothes. Amazing. The only thing that would have been better was the AC cranked up. But, it was a gorgeous day outside and we cooled off eating the amazing ice cream. I am so glad we tried this place. We will be back for more! read more

Hello Honey serves up some pretty amazing ice cream, and offers a fairly unique offering of flavors that you won't find at other ice cream establishments. I would say Hello Honey is the best ice cream shop I have visited in the downtown Cincinnati area (not Northern Kentucky, however). When you go in, the kind staff is more than generous and helpful in regards to letting you sample whatever flavors you want in order to help you determine your selection. Sometimes that sampling experience can get awkward (at other places) if you have rude staff that makes you feel as if you are free loading on Company product (as I'm sure some do), but the few times I have been in, the Hello Honey staff actually seems to promote the sampling. This is as good as it gets for ice cream in downtown Cincinnati! I highly suggest you give it a whirl if you have a hankering for some sweets. read more

This might be the number one hidden gem in Cincinnati. I've been wanting to try this place since it opened, and due to the hours it's hard for me to get there on time. I had the banana sundae which I ordered with brown butter caramel. I was surprised to see that the sundae wasn't as big as I anticipated, which I was happy about. So many places give such huge portions. The toffee pieces were super super good. My boyfriend ordered the nutella sundae but wanted matcha ice cream instead. It actually worked really really well together. The matcha ice cream is bomb. Sooo good. Service is super friendly and are more then willing to help and give you many samples. Can't wait for my next visit to taste more flavors. read more

With all apologies to the 3-way, I would argue that ice cream is Cincinnati's TRUE culinary masterpiece. Greater's, Aglamesis, Pendleton, Madisano's...even the local gas station (UDF) has ice cream that would rule in almost any other city. And then there is Hello Honey. Oh. My. God. The cream itself is amazing; smooth, sweet, perfect. The flavors are creative, fun and mouth watering. But that's also true of the other Cincinnati ice cream greats. What sets little ol' Hello Honey apart, what gives it a real case for best in town is the fresh made, warm cone. It's worth waiting for, my friends. They make the cone fresh, it's still warm when they drop in a big old scoop of cold, creamy goodness...and magic is made. It gets a little melty and that's how it should be. You must get a scoop here! read more

This is the best ice cream we've had in Cincinnati. It's the closest we've come to Jeni's since we moved away from Columbus. When compared to Graeter's, this completely blows it away. I had Honey Vanilla and Earl Grey Blackberry. The herbiness of the two together was delicious. Unfortunately, I got the bottom of the barrel of the Honey Vanilla and it had a lot of ice chips in it, but the flavor was amazing. The milk fat ratio seemed to be a little high, based on the greasiness of the spoon and my lips after eating it. Regardless, it was still delicious and I ate every last drop. Can you tell I thought it was delicious? This will be our new high end small batch ice cream destination. read more

Really amazing ice cream with fresh ingredients!!! I got the banana honeycomb which is banana ice creams with caramel swirls and I love it. Also get the torched marshmallows, that are so worth it!!! Definitely coming back to try even more flavors read more

Best ice cream in Cincinnati. Hands down. Graeters doesn't even come close to Hello Honey. For starters, they make the waffle cone fresh with every order... it comes out soft and warm... absolutely PERFECT against the hard, cold ice cream. Hello Honey has the best non-traditional flavors, as well! Honey lavender is my all-time favorite flavor, so naturally I always jump for it, BUT the Earl Grey Blackberry, Espresso Brittle & Brown Butter Caramel are also to die for. Menu is constantly rotating, so stop by often to see what's new! read more

Hello Honey. The name says it all. The smell is intoxicating as soon as you enter into the door. It's so refreshing to find a place that is true to its roots. If I go to an ice cream shop, I want real, homemade Ice cream, if I go to a steak house, I want an authentic grilled steak. Hello Honey is just that. A true ice cream shop. They have a lot of unique, Rich, & delicious flavors. The ice cream flavors are luscious and definitely not your neighborhood strawberry or mint chip. Hello honey has a variety of other desserts, cake, warm & cold desserts, etc. they have a little something for everyone. Not doubt if you're looking for a delicious dessert or ice cream, Hello Honey is an amazing place to check out! My only downfall on the visit is that 1. The place can be busy so you don't really get the time or assistance needed regarding flavors, dessert options, etc. the rep working the counter was nice just seemed rushed so i didn't get the amount of time I felt was needed to review the options on the menu board. You only get two samples of ice cream as well. Kind of a bummer because they have so many unique flavors. The Parking is also horrible on this location. If you're lucky you'll get a Street Meter spot. Or you'll have to walk a little bit or settle for a parking garage spot. Overall a good experience! A must try! read more

This is a hidden gem! We popped in for dessert (and to eat our takeaway meal) from Fred & Gari's and were impressed with the handmade unique ice cream flavors and long list of options to enjoy it "a la mode." I've never seen a concept like this (Dutch baby, brownies, etc.) and it made it feel as much like a bakery as an ice cream shop. So many things to return to try! read more

What really made Hello Honey stand out in my opinion is there insistence on making the waffle cones/cups fresh for each order. It came so out so quick from the press to me that waffle was still warm and had a light crispy texture! The ice cream is also fantastic, together they make a great pair. read more

I visited Cincinnati this past weekend, and Hello Honey was definitely a highlight of the trip. It was a must on my Cincinnati To-Do List, and it definitely did not disappoint. I've tried a lot of ice-cream places, and I can confidently say Hello Honey is one of the top. I ordered a scoop of Espresso Nut Brittle with a toasted marshmallow on top. It costs an extra dollar to get the toasted marshmallow, but it's worth every penny. I also tried their Green Tea - Earl Gray White Chocolate and it was just as yummy (also super creamy!). They serve unique flavors and other types of desserts as well. Would highly recommend!! read more

Hello, love of my life! This is hands down the best ice cream in Cincinnati and my favorite ice cream. Period. You can go simple with just a scoop of yummy ice cream like Brown Sugar Pecan or go cuh-razy and get your ice cream with a delicious cake topped with the most amazing marshmallow you've ever tasted. This place is game changing. You've never had anything like it, I promise. We've all had a roasted marshmallow and even a waffle cone, but not like this. The flavors, the textures; mind blowing! Thank God they sell the ice cream by the pint. This girl has got to have her Espresso Brittle and Honey Lavender fix! read more

Amazing ice cream! It's not your typical ice cream either. It's all made from scratch with unique flavors which change every week or so. The best part is the homemade marshmallow that is torched on top of your ice cream as well. All our friends were blown away by how good it was. We all sat in a state of bliss! They also offer waffles that can be topped with ice cream or a waffle sandwich. The staff is very friendly. The owner remembered us from the last time we were there and even remembered what we had ordered. She was so excited for us to try the new flavors she had we couldn't keep up with all the samples. They aren't always open for their posted hours. I would suggest calling ahead to be sure they are open. read more

Wow, all of this ice cream is essentially home made. I asked the owner the back story about how Hello Honey came to be and learned that she basically fell into it. She was making ice cream for friends and family and kept hearing people tell her to start a business. She and her husband were looking to work together and decided to go for it! Out came a beautiful gourmet ice cream boutique. The big selling point for me is that the flavors are incredibly unique. I got the impression that the owner creates the recipes herself. The staff is more than willing to let you try different ones before you make your final selection. I chose salted caramel and was in heaven! I highly recommend stopping in and experiencing something you can't get any where else! read more
