Ended up working here one morning and had a great time! I got an iced matcha latte - it had a weird taste but enjoyed that it was not super sweet like a lot of other matcha drinks at coffee shows in LoDo. Inside is super cute! There is a good variety of seating, both indoors and outdoors. If you work from here, one note is that there is not a lot of outlets available. Absolutely adored this coffee shop. One of the few places that allows doggies indoors which we love and so appreciate! The other patrons were dog-friendly as well, which is always a plus - our dog got lots of friendly pats. The music wasn't overly loud and I saw a handful of outlets. This would be great for remote working or to meet-up and chat and hangout as it's a big place. Lots of small tables and couches, so every person working and every small group hanging out had their own space. We shared an iced chai oat milk latte and hot matcha latte, both tasty and not too sweet. Right outside is the Denver Millennium Bridge and the popular "Gold Wings" photo op station. Across the street is Confluence Park and the Highland Cable Bridge into the Highlands. This place is so cute! This tiny shop is in a great location with amazing drinks. They have a wide variety of drinks and even cocktails! What we got: * honey oat milk latte (5/5) * iced matcha (5/5) * iced caramel latte (5/5) * 2 chocolate croissants * 2 almond croissants -- the filling was delicious and evenly distributed! I adore this place! It's an unassuming coffee shop located right across from Commons/Confluence Parks. Their interior decor is a very calming, hip, and chic aesthetic. I've gone during the day for a matcha latte and also experienced the night life component with one of their cocktails and candlelit tables. Keep this review light since I am someone not from Denver and have only tried one drink. But I'm pleasantly surprised about how this place knocked it out there park! First thing to note: great amount of seating! From table tops to barstools to window lined seating and a patio, there's no shortage of seating for a regular day. The hours are long and the decor is trendy and bright. Good music at a very comfortable level for either conversing or doing work. For some ODD reason, I decided to get a drink I NEVER get. I usually only drink hot cappuccinos with oat milk and a caramel-y syrup, but felt oddly compulsive to try their iced matcha latte. The service was nice and quick and the matcha latte was probably the best I've had in a while. It doesn't taste ceremonial grace per se, but an overall agreeable sweet matcha taste with not too much oat milk. It's been a really long time since I've had a matcha latte that didn't suck, so I had to give this place a 5/5! read more

Ambience is clearly a winner here. I'm glad they've finally filled this space with something with great potential. When we moved to Denver a few years back it was a great little tequila spot called Biblioteca and we were sad when it closed up. Anyway, I digress, this place is very nice and welcoming with an air of non-stuffy sophistication. Service was pretty quick and friendly. The area that was lacking was the chai latte. It was pretty thin and kinda just had a slight cinnamon milk with water flavour. We had chai lattes at another spot earlier in the day so the comparison was very noticeable. I had the latte and it was good but not necessarily spectacular (milk art was solid). Presentation and in house cups and saucers were nice. I love the idea of this being a combo cocktail and coffee house to offer something for everyone at nearly all hours. Haven't sampled the cocktails but the prices seemed reasonable if they're good and the options all looked intriguing. I'll definitely come back so wanted to more put this out there as honest feedback. As of today, it might be difficult finding this little coffee shop hidden in Platte Park. No big Hello Darling sign to guide you but once you open the heavily tinted doors, you're greeted with a burst of character, tasty coffee and some cozy string lights. Did I mention there's plants? It feels like it belongs in the Highlands with its feminine allure and welcoming appeal. Plenty of seating from barstools to tabletop seats. Very modern vibe if you care about aesthetics. Coffee selection is standard and there's an espresso martini option for the frisky. If you're a dog lover, I see a black pug, a German Shepard and a little golden puppy. This places was absolutely darling. The aesthetic and ambiance were to die for. They have a great selection of drinks and pastries and they even have delicious breakfast burritos which is what I got. I love the large variety of seating types and I actually moved around to try a few of them when I was there. Disappointed because the cafe looks much more impressive on IG than it actually is. It's dimly lite with unidirectional light giving off a sad feeling. The seat of the chairs at the bar were dirty with crumbs. The Barista working on 03/18 with the short blonde hair was lack luster and passive in her demeanor. If you're sitting at the cafe bar they make you stand up and walk 2 feet over to a register to pay. Also I asked for a straw and the barista pointed to where they were instead of offering to get me one. The bar area is so small, so when I was told to basically "go get it myself" it felt a little dismissive from a customer service perspective. Sad because I brought a friend who just moved to the US here and I wanted to go to a nice cafe. There is outdoor seating, as well as a variety of indoor seating options (tables and chairs, couches, bar top options, etc.). We ordered four coffee drinks to-go from the barista. Definitely a great location, and their morning service is pretty good, with great people working it. That's about it. It's been open nearly a couple of years now, and a better name now is "Ghetto Darling," due to neglect and mainly mismanagement. There doesn't appear to be any consistency in the evenings, so the quality of any particular cocktail will depend on who is working (and how much they care.) Additionally, several employees are unconcerned about how busy the street is and will happily obstruct the frequent loading and unloading of other legitimate business for several hours at a time, despite of parking availability nearby. It obviously profits from a convenient location, but I wonder if it would survive if other establishments opened nearby. read more

Popped in here for a happy hour date night and ordered the pino grigio, cabernet, and charcuterie board. Wine was yummy and $5 a glass during happy hour or you could get a carafe for $20. Conveniently located across from the park, it was an easy bike ride with ample bike parking out front, which is a huge win for me.
