Good ambiance but I rarely eat there. I mostly get food to go. The service is good so no complaints but it's not the highlight of the joint. It's really the food that makes it a great place. They have gluten free foods that still taste good. None of the food tastes "healthy" even though it is! So that's why I like it. It's super vegan friendly so if that's your thing, this is your place. read more

While visiting the Palm Springs area we were in search of vegan food. We stopped at the Heirloom Craft Kitchen for lunch. The interior is nice, clean and modern. We were pleased to find that they have a Vegan Friendly section on their menu. You order at the counter and they deliver your food to your table. We ordered an Impossible Burger with a side salad and Impossible Sloppy Joe's, and my husband had a vegan brownie. Everything was really good including the service. It was the first time I had an Impossible Burger and it was so yummy! We had a very enjoyable plant-based meal, wish we lived near here! read more

Oh boy, am I disappointed that I just found this place!! I wish I had know about this for the last 2 years I've lived in the desert! Today, I was greeted by the nicest woman taking my order (with some fabulous finger nails I might add). I ordered the heirloom XXL breakfast burrito with eggs, bacon, hash browns, salsa verde, and cheddar cheese. It was SO FANTASTIC and so HUGE. You'll definitely want to share this between two people. I also ordered the truffle tots. These were out of this world AMAZING. I recommend not sharing these, because you certainly won't want to. 10/10 stars!! Please come try this hidden gem! read more

We came here the last time before Covid Lockdown and decided to go on Sunday for lunch. We were very disappointed. We both ordered the Shrimp Po-Boy Sandwich. Let me just say that a 7 inch sandwich in the middle of a plate with no sides for $11.00 better be stellar which it was not. But first...CLEAN YOUR RESTROOM!! It was nasty! And it was only 12:13PM. Tables and ground around them was not being swept or kept clean. It is Covid times people!! Cleanliness is of utmost importance. Now the sandwich.... Shrimp were flavorful, but not a whole lot of them and the sandwich was very very dry! A tiny bit of iceberg lettuce with the shrimp. My husband's was more dry than mine. A Po- Boy should be packed with the protein and have an ample amount of remoulade sauce because without this sauce it is not a real seafood Po-Boy. NO fresh herbs in the sauce and tasted more like whole grain mustard which is not remoulade sauce. 2 sodas and two little po-boys $30.00!! The seating was sketchy with most tables in the hot sun. Who wants to sit in the sun and eat. Who wants to sit at a dirty table in the hot sun and eat. We always supported this place but it is time to move on. read more

I work outdoors, so the heat is draining. On days I don't bring my lunch, I can count on Heirloom Craft Kitchen to have some healthy, lighter options. I always get the Organic Roasted Chicken Salad. It has protein, healthy fats, etc and makes me feel so much better to go back into the heat to work. Tony holds this place DOWN. He should start a business where he trains others for customer service because he's just so personable, friendly, helpful, and today I ate inside the restaurant for the first time and realized that he stays BUSY. I had my Coachella Valley Harvest Box delivers here while I was at work. I ordered dinner for after work and picked it all up. They helped me carry to my car on a busy Friday night. I had the shrimp poor boy sandwich- crispy crunch coated shrimps with lettuce, onions and a great sauce on a good bun. I ate half. For my veggie I got the blistered shisito peppers- they had a lemon aioli sauce with them. I am saving some for chopping up and putting into an omelet for breakfast. Great experience. Really great people working here and the food was a huge delight. Although the hotdog didn't come with the pretzel bun as described, it was still delicious and I can only imagine what it would have tasted like had it came on a pretzel bun. The mustard and jalepeno topping was a nice touch. Tots were excellent and the hamburger meat was fresh and not frozen. The desserts were also a hit! Our fave was the caramel cheesecake and carrot cake. They also had fun homemade candies like peanut brittle and root beer caramels. The coffee is STRONG, be careful unless you're use to it. It gave me a headache and I had to take a nap afterwards. But, it could have been from the food coma. read more

I visited Heirloom Sunday, 6/16/23. It was Father's Day weekend and I wanted to try something new and exciting. I saw the reviews for Heirloom and had to try it. It was disappointing. I ordered the Cuban sandwich, and it was quite salty. I love salty food, but I couldn't eat this sandwich. My son ordered the tray nachos, and the chips were so hard, they almost broke my teeth! It breaks my heart when my kids don't want to finish their food. My wife ordered a salad, and she liked it. The presentation was very nice. The staff was very pleasant. The atmosphere was very relaxed. The prices were a bit high for the items we ordered. I probably won't be coming back here. read more

We're in LaQuinta for a couple of months, escaping Wisconsin winter, and Heirloom Craft Kitchen is great for a sandwich or breakfast, or something you've never thought of; casual but carefully prepared, delicious cuisine. My hubby and I found this place when on vacation. It is a great place with great food. Nice variety of food, small plates, sandwiches , salad, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. I had the shrimp po-boy, my husband had the original burger sub Impossible burger pattie and a side of tater tots. The staff is upbeat, knowledgeable and genuinely excited about the food that they serve. Tony is warm and welcoming. We loved the suggestions and when back in La Quinta will come back again. I really love the bread. Apparently it is home made and indeed you can taste its flavor and how rich and soft it is. I order a BLT. Personally i thought it wasnt as big of a portion as other BLTs but the large size of their tots kinda made up for it. I prefer a heavier pack sandwich and the BLT they gave me wasnt worth $10. I give it 4 stars because everything was home made and really, the flavors were there. The ketchup is also home made. It does need improvement but i think they are in their way to being a great restaurant. The vibe is great as well!! Good place to chill and meet up with friends!! Had an early breakfast right when they opened... The coffee is strong- I like it. The lemon avocado toast is delicious, I had mine with sunny side up eggs. The eggs were fresh , soft, and tasty just the way I like them. The lemon adds some zing to the smoothness of the avocado, I will do this at home. The service was friendly, attentive, just right. Now to the negatives; My table wobbled a bit, and nicer cutlery would better suit their style. read more

Saturday morning, busy but it's mellowing. We wait behind a couple ordering and immediately greeted with a smile as we walk up to the counter. You order at the counter, get a number and proceed to a table of your choosing. The booths are earmarked for parties of 4 or more. Quick service. The manager asks if we are okay and looks happy to see us- always a good sign. Demographic: White families. A few people of color. A family environment in La Quinta, it looks welcoming to someone queer like myself. Customer service: Attentive. Quick. Helpful. Food: Shrimp and grits for me. Good. Large portions. My companion ordered the breakfast and wasn't happy with the taste or the portions. He did, however, eat the entire plate. So I'm not sure how unhappy with it he was. I'd skip on the breakfast plate, myself. So many other places in the desert for that. Didn't get any booze. Interior: Spacious. Clean. Welcoming. Cool- important in the summer here in the desert. Not our favorite. The $17 cheesesteak was the worst I've had. It tasted like leftover tri-tip with a broken roux cheese sauce on top. Thankfully it was small since it just didn't taste good. My spouse got the tomato soup and grilled cheese. The soup was more like a broken roux, same as the cheese sauce on the cheesesteak. The grilled cheese had several slices of cheddar on it--like a half inch thick, partially melted. Some people might like this, I guess. We were starving, but neither of us could finish our meals. So after dropping ~$ 50 for two meals at this place, we got Chick-Fil-A, which was ten times better and half the price. The ambiance was nice. read more

The crepe wrap had this perfectly crisp netting surrounding the outer layer of the crepe. It completely won me over with the first bite as I'm someone that enjoys crispy and crunchy textures in my food. Everything down to the chicken, the fillings, and the crepe itself were just delicious. I came as a party of 3 and for the first half of our eating experience we were eating in complete silence because of how good our wraps tasted. That itself should be a testament to how great this place is. As an added plus, they had a water station & great music to vibe with. The contents can be a bit heavy though so if you're looking for a light breakfast, sharing one crepe wrap amongst two would be the way to go. Towards the end of my crepe I noticed that I was slowing down because of how heavy the flavor profiles were, so having something to contrast that, like a lighter side dish, would've been nice.

You don't really get served much, you order at the front, get your own utensils, and we needed to go to the front to get a refill. They bring you your food and drinks, and that's pretty much it. Didn't really bother us, but if you're looking for more service this place might not be for you. The Arnold Palmer was delicious, tasted homemade. And the food was so good. The vibes were chill, we were able to sit inside and it was a happy place to be in. I told my wife that I would definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends and family. Also, we noticed a lot of people just ordered drinks, so I need to go back and try out their coffee!

That's really what keeps me coming back. The only issue I've run into (twice now) is with takeout, and it's been a little frustrating. The first time I ordered takeout, I waited inside for about 20 minutes. I started noticing people who ordered after me (and were dining in) getting their food before me. When I finally went up to check, my order had just been sitting there the whole time -- no one ever called my name. Gave it another shot today, thinking maybe it was just a one-off. This time I was told to wait outside for takeout and that someone would call me. I got my coffee within the first five minutes, but then waited another 15-20 minutes while, again, people who ordered after me were getting their food. I asked an employee to check, and she brought my order out right away but unfortunately it was cold. So it seems like it had been sitting there again, and no one came out to the takeout area. It's a bummer because the food itself is really good, but the takeout system definitely needs some work. Whether it's calling out names more clearly or having someone dedicated to takeout orders, something needs to be tightened up. So the food is worth it, and I do want to support them. I'll be back this summer to give takeout another shot and see if things have improved.

The signage was clear and this spot was easy to find. Plenty of working, some in the direct front but if those aren't available they share a large parking lot with the other businesses so easy access. The day we came in after traveling it was pretty busy. Lots of customers in line but they kept the line moving. What could have felt a little stressful was their manager or owner was in the mix training one of the new staff. During a lunch rush that can definitely be a challenge and I understood it's probably a bit awkward for the new staff to learn with a bunch of customers watching. However, I felt like it was a positive as the owner was actually giving really good feedback to the staff. It showed me the manager really knows what he's doing and wants to ensure the best experience for the customer. For example, the new staff tried putting my sandwich and desserts in a bag that would have not laid flat/tilted my sandwich. The manager caught this right away and explained that if you put my sandwich in the bag like that, then some of the dressings and oils would run out of the sandwich and make the wrapper very oily and maybe even go through the wrapper into my bag. It was a good catch and I appreciate that attention to details for sure. I won't go on and on about the sandwich since I've reviewed other jersey mikes but I will say they are my favorite chain sandwich shop. I love the fresh sliced deli meat, the toppings are always fresh, and being a sauce girl I do really like the flavor of their mayo and honey mustard. I just wanted to come here to leave a positive review as this is one of their newer locations and I see the staffs efforts to learn and to make this spot a great experience with nice customer service. It's convenient for me location wise and I'll definitely be back.

The iced vanilla latte was decent. Not amazing but good for caffeinating me on an early morning drive. The breakfast bagel sandwich was greasy/oily. The taste of oil overpowered the bacon, egg and cheese flavor. Next time I'm in Indio, I'll stop by for coffee, but I'll skip the sandwich.
