ALL OF MY SANDWICHES were incorrect, missing even the basic condiments of mustard and mayo (which are included by default per their menu) and also missing all of our add ons like the hot peppers and onions. This place has by far been the worst's service I ever had. From the minute I walked in the door, the employees were whispering in each others ears. I get to the counter and being my first time there I asked what are your popular subs. The young man asked "what are you going to order"? For God's sakes, it's a sandwich with two pieces of bread, tomato, cucumber, lettuce and avocado. I walked out last week when they told me that the price had been increased to $11 - the product is not worth what you have to pay for it. After errand running decided to grab a sandwich instead of cooking tonight. Thought it'd be less hassle. I was beyond wrong. It all started off when I walked in. The person at front who hopefully isn't a manager was visibly frustrated with something else and showed it as I walked in without a greeting but a rush to the back to grab the other employee to help. As a former JJ employee (15yrs ago) I know the procedure when people walk in is to greet them or atleast act like you want them to be there. Not the case here. I could see they had a large order being handled so chalked it up to that. Placed my order for a Vito #5 because I don't like Mayo. It is not edible to me. I get physically ill when I eat so I like a #5 because it doesn't come with it as standard. I paid my $21 & change for my meal and drove home only to discover my sandwich was covered in Mayo. I decided to go back & get a new sandwich. It's got to be less hassle to drive back 10 min & get a new one instead of starting dinner. It was 5:40 PM so I rushed back. When I entered again was greeted with the same "Dont bother me" attitude and when I explained about the sandwich I had to pull it out to prove it had mayo. I was then offered a 1/2 sandwich as my replacement. Nothing else. I was told there was no bread so I couldn't be helped (even though the employee cut a full loaf to make a half sandwich for me) As a former JJ employee I know day old bread is available. We'd sell it to customers. Maybe just maybe try an ounce of customer service and offer the other half of the sandwich on day old bread. I mean just attempt to make the situation right. If that doesn't work as a solution figure something out. How do you let a customer walk out with half of what they paid for and a shrug of your shoulders of pure IDGAF? When this place first opened it was a fun friendly environment with a warm welcome, High quality subs and a thank you genuinely from the owner as you left. So sad that today is the complete opposite, no hello as I walked in, Sandwich took about 7 minutes to get, bread was hard and the vibe and energy is complete disconnect from the individuals who work there. As I was leaving there was an employee on break using there cell phone and the person at the register without a customer didn't even say thank you or bye.
