Ace Deli is located inside the food court at Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage. I read a review about the salmon lox bagel being really good, so I decided to try it. I was impressed. They are generous with the salmon and it was delicious. I was craving breakfast for dinner and to my delight it is served all day. I highly recommend trying the Salmon Lox Bagel.

These are some of the overcooked fries that came with my order.

I've ordered food at Ace Deli inside of Aqua Caliente Rancho Mirage on numerous occasions and it was always tasty. Today, I ordered a turkey sandwich, on wheat and added bacon and 3 pieces of fried chicken. First of all, I waited 21 mins and when I inquired why it was taking so long, the Manager said "oh we only have one cook". My order was to go and the french fries were overcooked and cold, the wheat bread was dry, torn and not toasted. The pieces of fried chicken barely had any coating and dry! I can't believe I waited 21 mins for this horrible food.

Ace Deli in the Agua Caliente Casino food court... amazing food and service!

Always incredible food and service! I get the lox and bagel almost every time, but they have a great variety of foods, from breakfast items to soups, salads, sandwiches, even wings and fried chicken. It's been my experience that the food in every restaurant in this casino is good to excellent. Big props to resort food management! The atmosphere is casual and clean, with plenty of tables for dining. This place is part of a "food court" at the south side of the casino. Perfect for that road trip break, or to take with you on the road. Cheerful efficient service, and we always look forward to the spotless and upscale feel of the casino restrooms.

Pastrami Sandwhich is very good. Comes with good frys. Pizza I had half pineapple/ham and the other half 5 cheeses......not the best pizza but an excellent crust but a definite top tier pizza. I will have again, but not the 5 cheese...I will get pepperoni.

Got burgers and fries with my fiancé. The man who took our order was great, his name was Noe. Very friendly and welcoming and got our order quick. Handed us our drinks fast as well and we took a seat. The lady who then called for the food pick up at the counter was just so rude and unwelcoming. Didn't give me my ranch(had to ask again), didn't give me the toppings on the side, and couldn't respond to a simple thank you/ when I needed a refill she was very rude about me not knowing the procedure it was my first time eating here. She tried to make me feel stupid probably won't eat here again..

All the food is so so delicious and a very fair price to boot. My favorite is the grilled Ham and cheddar cheese on wheat and the breakfast sandwiches are excellent

Pastrami with cheddar....is there anything better?
    Rafael A.

How do I know this place is freaking amazing? The first time I had the Pastrami with Cheddar here, I had won a few bucks at the casino and had a few drinks at the bar as well. I mean, anything will taste good after a night of gambling, being in the positive and (ahem) drunk. So, I tried the same thing the second time.... This time, I was sober and had just lost $200 at the blackjack table (so I was in no mood to rave about a sandwich). Ok, let's discuss the sandwich. It's amazing. The bread (I chose white) is butter up and grilled to perfection. It's plenty buttery with a good, toasted crunch. The pastrami was slightly peppered and not stringy or fatty. It was also plentiful. I ordered my sandwich with coleslaw on the side (which they typically put in the sandwich). The coleslaw is more of the mayo taste side than the traditional vinegar or even sweet side. If the sandwich was inferior in any way, I'd feel bad about dripping $12 for it after losing so much at the table. But, this is one of those sandwiches I don't mind paying for.

Ordered the New York style hot pastrami on rye with coleslaw and a Dr. Brown's Cream Soda. The pastrami was the highlight. Piled high, tender, and full of that classic deli flavor with just the right amount of richness. The rye bread held everything together well and had a nice bite to it. It's the kind of sandwich you have to take a second to look at before figuring out how to eat it. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp, a good balance to the sandwich, and the cream soda was cold and refreshing. Also ordered a slice of pistachio cake to go. Absolutely delicious. The place has that old school deli feel, busy but in a good way, and full of character. Service was friendly and efficient even with the crowd. Definitely a spot worth stopping at if you're in Palm Desert and want a proper deli sandwich.

Service was excellent. Seated immediately and ordering minutes later. Got extra cream cheese on request and our coffees were diligently refilled. The main attraction was the pastrami sandwich. Totally to my wife's taste, extremely lean and stacked high. She had to take half home. I tried an omelette with corned beef and loved it. The everything bagel was perfectly acceptable, not too "bready." So: service good, pastrami good, and bagel good. Everything good about a deli is covered.

This deli opens at 8am. We were actually 2nd. in line for the doors to open. My friend and I lived many many years in NYC...deli rules. When it opened we were greeted and seated, we chose to sit inside though they did have a fairly big patio area. Service was excellent all around from the hostess who sat us to Christina who took good care of us making sure water and coffees were refill promptly and was very friendly. My friend ordered his favorite, a hot Pastrami sandwich on lightly toasted rye. I ordered my most favorite deli item, the Chopped Liver appetizer. While we were waiting for our food, we were served the tradition Pickle Tray, YEAH!!!! The food came out and was all DELISH! My friend loved his pastrami sandwich and my chopped liver was good but could of used some chopped hard boiled egg, more onion and some salt.. but was still good. To note: We would definitely come again on an off hour where I would not have to wait. Atmosphere: Fairly large inside and patio, very Deli feel, huge bakery display to purchase. Service: excellent. Food: very good.

I got more than I was hoping for as I saw the great Yelp reviews and learned that it has even been featured on Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives"- my kind of place! The place is hopping- at lunch hour on a weekday the line was out the door but it is pretty efficient and moves quickly. Nice that there is a separate line for the bakery. If you're waiting for food, you'll want to check out all the delicious baked goods! It definitely has a casual vibe, nothing fancy but friendly service and it is more "diner" than "dive"! I got the french dip. A generous portion and I loved the sliced potato fries that it came with! Very tasty! Lots of other great Jewish deli dishes on the menu! I left with some cookies to take on my flight home, those were delightful as well. I'd definitely come back if I find myself in Palm Springs!

It was close to end of day so I was quick to browse the offerings before placing my sandwich order. Ended up getting a Caprese and Parma on focaccia. The staff seemed preoccupied with Cleaning but did their best to get my sandwich order out fast. I've heard nothing but good things about this place but this is my first time. I asked the lady behind the counter for a popular favorite recommendation and she seemed confused and just said everything was good. Two sandwiches around $40 so I was hoping for something great. Unfortunately we agreed that the taste was good, but nothing amazing and probably not what we were expecting for the price. Everything fell just a little bit flat. It wasn't bad but it wasn't memorable either. I ended up drizzling balsamic vinegar on the Caprese at home since they only put olive oil and a little bit of pesto on the bread and the whole thing just felt lacking ever so slightly. The shop itself was clean and well kept and had a lot to offer so I still recommend stopping by and browsing for Italian goodies. Just not my favorite sandwich spot. Maybe we will try something else another day or just stick to the pasta!

They have a bakery, and a bar, which both look good, but I did not experience those. Spacious parking lot, a hostess to seat you, and a comfy booth (thanks to a local friend who planned ahead for our lunch). It was crowded but not crazy at noon on a Friday - and we were comfortable by the window. Our server was friendly and helpful. The pickle tray brought to us I'd rate as OK, as there was just one variety of pickle (the mushier classic kosher dill). I love to have them both, what can I say. I ordered the corned beef and chopped liver sandwich. It's open-faced, which is perfect in my book. The (moderate) double crust rye bread is welcome -- where the crust has a really good crunch against the soft bread. The liver tasted pretty good, and the texture of the some of the ingredients (onions, liver, egg) were evident making it feel more home-made. It could have used more seasoning, perhaps as simple as salt and pepper because while it was definitely fine, the chopped liver never rose above that. The corned beef was also was unremarkable. A bit dry, and at room temperature, it was a bit of a disappointment. The red onion was also a bit dried out, with the white speckles on the rings. No tomato, lettuce garnish. The cole slaw was also just OK - somewhere in between creamy and vinegar-y. It was inoffensive, and lacked vision. I never thought I'd say that about cole slaw, but there you go. Overall, the meal was fine - it was polite eating experience, in a nice setting, and nothing more.
