We like that we could join the waitlist especially on a weekend to guarantee our place in line. When we arrived we were seated right away outside on the patio. The umbrella at our table fell on us twice which was really inconvenient but the manager was able to take care of us. We loved our drinks! The chai latte was pretty good, the pb & slay was super sweet if you're into that. The ube matcha had great flavor too. The crunchy french toast was so delicious! Great flavor & great texture. I wanted to love Haven House, but unfortunately my experiences haven't been great. One of the biggest frustrations is that they don't offer split checks, which feels really outdated--especially since they use Toast, so it just doesn't make much sense. Service has also been inconsistent. On my second visit, our server came across as rude and dismissive, which definitely impacted the overall experience. As for the food, it just hasn't lived up to expectations. I've given it more than one try hoping it would improve, but nothing has really stood out or made me want to come back. read more

Tried Haven Haus for brunch after seeing it recommended on Yelp, and overall it was a pretty good experience. The food was an 8/10, but the drinks were closer to a 4/10. We ordered the crepes since we're big crepe fans. They were a little different than what we expected since they weren't stuffed, but we made it work and they still came out really sweet and enjoyable. I ordered a caramel latte and my husband got a Coke Zero. Even though the drinks didn't hit, the food definitely made up for it. Service was quick, but it felt a bit impersonal since we had three different servers and didn't really get the chance to connect with one. The ambience was really nice -- super chill, and the interior is honestly really pretty if you're into taking pictures. I'd definitely come back and give it another try. Great place to take family and friends. Good location in Old Town Temecula and this place had a great use of space so you don't feel like you are on top of each other. Our waitress was amazing and cute. Because this was my first time I asked her to order me her favorite and she suggested her favorite omelette to my friend. We shared the Autumn breeze coffee flight it was amazing, Leisa got the Meat Lovers Omelette, and I got the Meat Lovers Skillet both were fantastic. This was my first time at Haven Haus Cafe. We showed up on Sunday morning at about 11:15 and it was busy. We had about a 20 minute wait - not bad. They have a nice lounge area at the front of restaurant where you can hangout while waiting for a table. Once we were seated our server got us started with coffee and water. Even though they were busy, she was chill and didn't make us feel rushed, which was awesome. We ordered our brunch and in no time, it was served up hot and fresh. I ordered the Bacon Avo Benny - excellent choice! The eggs... poached to perfection. The spinach... sautéed just right and was seasoned to complement the wonderful Hollendaise sauce. Hollendaise sauce... rich and creamy at the optimal consistency. Bacon... prepared at the ideal crispness and the applewood aspect/flavor was right on. Avocado... ripe, lush, and buttery. The venue has a bright (roll up windows), modern vibe that is undeniable. (They have outside seating too.) Lastly, our server was a Pro. She knew when to check-in on us and was absolutely attentive. I understand if she was leaving it going on break and needed to close the table but that was not the situation. We have been here multiple times usually for a birthday brunch and every time we have a great experience. it's so cute and such a fun decorative vibe inside. I love that there are purse hooks at every table. The food is delicious. I've gotten the hot honey chicken sliders on biscuits a few times and they're delicious. Our server let us know the portions were big and shareable and she was right! We shared the Mediterranean steak platter which was SO good and flavorful. Full disclosure, I haven't eaten here. I haven't even set foot inside. But based on the reviews I decided to give it a try for breakfast/lunch on a date weekend with my lady. We parked nearby and were walking up to the place when a group of about 20 high school girls (a cheer squad apparently) sitting at a big table in the outside dining area, struck up one of their cheers. At the top of their lungs. Like they were trying to bring down the walls of Jericho. After about a minute of this, and when it didn't end and there were no parents or others would-be adults to put a stop to it, we moved on. Two blocks later as we went looking for an alternate cafe, they were STILL belting it out, loud enough we could understand the words. Utterly ridiculous.
