This place is AWESOME! Not only is it a ton of fun, with a HUGE menu and a lot of unique and creative drinks and food items, but the food is actually really delicious. I feel like sometimes kitschy restaurants quality of food can fall a little flat. But everything from the service, to the presentation and back to the flavor was spot on. They had music playing and the patio is gorgeous and it was just a really fun experience. I got the short rib Benedict and it was HUGE. But it was so delicious and addicting I ended up finishing it all. Some of their drinks can be a little sweet, like the cereal milk cocktails, but the mimosa flight is where it's at. All of their juices are just so fresh and they've got the perfect ratio of juice to champagne down to a science. I wish I lived in Arizona because I would definitely be here every weekend. And for the size of the portions and the ingredients they use, it was really an average cost for brunch. read more

Came here on a busy Sunday morning but were able to get seated fairly quickly despite the amount of parties ahead of us. Very cute and trendy spots with indoor, outdoor and bar seating. Just a tip though, they play music very loud, so the outdoor seating was preferred for us. Food was hot and came out quickly. Everything tasted great! Bloody Mary was awesome! Tara was a fantastic server! Cheerful and friendly and took great care of us! It's a bit on the loud side for me both inside and out (cars on the road) and loads of young people. It's a great place for a party atmosphere but that's really not my thing. The food was ok, we split the chilaquiles which was plenty but I've had better. I really loved the flight and my food (gluten-free waffles)... the music was too much. We went with friends and I couldn't enjoy myself talking to them or hearing them. The server couldn't hear us well either and brought us things we didn't ask for. I think it could still be fun with the music a little lower but I couldn't wait to leave. read more

Swanky cool and loud.. expect that when you come in.. over the top drink choices, and the highlight of the meal was the Bloody Mary bar. Food., the biscuits and gravy... good portion size, Luke warm at best, the eggs barely cooked, to the point of being dangerous.. the Italian sausage link, so over cooked it was hard as a rock, and it was ice cold... it must have been sitting out for a while. The carnitas: ok, but Mexican flavor? The star of the dish is supposed to be the pork and all its flavor. Not this dish, the 5 spice blend was so over powering it's all you could taste. Reminded me of some thing I would get in India, not Mexico.. Service lacks refinement, not expecting top service, but the basics.. keep the bar top in front of me clean and bussed, waters full, and plates cleared in a timely matter. I came here for brunch with my friend after our workout and we had an amazing experience. We split the bao buns and biscuits & gravy - so delicious. Loved the dipping sauce for the bao buns and the biscuits were super soft and fluffy. We sat at the bar and had top tier service from Alex. She was very polite and funny, striking up the perfect amount of conversation, and happily appeasing our requests for extra sauce and water. (We can definitely be a little needy!!) Wow. Seriously wow. We are foodies and not easily impressed when eating out, but every detail - wait staff, management, food, drinks, atmosphere. Top notch guys. The herbed chicken and waffles with leeks was crazy good - like Nashville good. Shrimp Benedict was superb and their bloody Mary's and mimosa flight...yum. Unbelievably great. I picked up a girl I have been newly dating, from the airport. While waiting for her plane, I reviewed the two places I thought I was going to decide between. This place popped up and I decided we would go here. Wow! The food was fantastic! She's kinda picky (not really vegan, but somewhere in that realm). She was so excited! She had five things (according to her) that she couldn't decide between. We ate (fantastic food) and took our extra food home. She called me later to say she had to finish the extra food at home because it was so great! By the way (yes, I know I'm supposed to BTW, but I'm old school), the waitress was so incredibly friendly. She was busy, and I tried to not take any of her (or any food workers) time. My friend asked questions about the menu and the waitress stayed and was genuinely helpful then, and again at the end of the meal. This is the 4th HK I've visited in the valley and the first time I did not have a 5-star experience. I was prepared for the high volume of music and chatter, but this was ridiculous. There were a couple of rowdy groups drinking heavily at 10 on a Thursday morning - wow. On the positive side - a really great menu. We always have trouble deciding! Apparently we were both craving short ribs because I ordered the short rib hash, and the Hubs got the short rib Benedict. The eggs on both dishes were fabulous, and the short ribs tender and meaty. My husband did not care for the gravy on both dishes. I thought it was okay. The Benedict potato cakes were good, but 4 of them were a bit much. Then they added a side of the diced potatoes with it. Potato overload! The hash had a good amount of potatoes and cheese over cornbread. One of the reasons they cook it in a skillet is to get that crispy edge and bottom, but there was none of that. The cornbread had good flavor, but seemed barely done. Just a little disappointing. A very positive note was the Billionaire Bacon. Soooo worth the price tag. Service was good, but a little slow. Overall, we will continue to stop at Hash Kitchen but just need to be prepared for the noise, and try other menu items. read more

In Phoenix for a short time before flying home and wanted a good place for breakfast with a few people. Our party of four was seated right away. This place was amazing. Great service and excellent food. Enjoyed the Bloody Mary bar where you could pick your flavored vodkas and add in toppings- loved the pickled Brussel sprouts and horseradish pickles. Went into Hash Kitchen before my morning flight back home, I was interested based on the photos of the food. I decided to go here based on reviews, upon arriving I found that there isn't any parking and so you're forced to do valet park. Then when I went into the establishment it was packed inside which isn't a bad thing at all. But when you walk in and the music is as loud as going into a club it wasn't a breakfast/brunch vibe. The hostess couldn't even here me give them my name and number for the reservation and I was speaking as loud as I could. I'm sure there food is great but not a very good environment. read more
