My coworkers and I went to Hash Kitchen for a post night shift brunch, and I had a "meh" experience. The outdoor patio is a vibe for sure- its nice and spread out and on Saturday morning they had a DJ playing music. Our server, Sydney, was fantastic! Super friendly, attentive, and patient. The menu is huge and has an item for everyone. I ordered the Herb Chicken Benedict and unfortunately, the food was cold and tasteless. My coworkers got the avocado toast and the short rib hash. While their items appeared like better options, no one was impressed with their meal. Overall, the atmosphere is fun, the service is great, and adding the glitter bombs to your drink makes for a great Instagram aesthetic, but I'm a person who values good food above all else. With all the delicious brunch choices in Phoenix, I don't foresee myself returning to Hash Kitchen. read more

This place seems like it geared more towards the millennial crowd with their focus on the Bloody Mary bar and DJ. Forget eating inside: you won't hear your partner from the constant thumping music. Am I in a club or having brunch? The food menu looked good, but sadly we won't ever be able to experience. We were seated outside but we just didn't like the club atmosphere. Ok this is my second visit to Hash Kitchen. I was so disappointed the first time I didn't think I was coming back. I am really happy I gave it a second chance though! Coffee was hot and they do give you a carafe full so you can self serve. My daughter had the type O bloody Mary. She loved it! She ate the Avocado toast with it. It is served on two huge slices of brioche with avocado smear and bacon then topped with egg. She couldn't stop raving about it. I ordered the potato tacos with carnitas. The tacos were topped with the carnitas and a green salsa then a fried egg. It was so delicious. I wish I could eat more! It was a very filling plate of utter yumminess! One of the top breakfast places in the area! Helpful hint you gotta come early and be prepared to wait for a table - trust me it's worth it! The food is really good and their combination of different cocktails and drinks will make it very difficult to decide what to order. We had a large party of 14 and they were very accommodating. Fortunately we had a volunteer in our party to get their early and put our name down so we all didn't have to wait in the heat. They have misters as a courtesy for people waiting and you are able to order cocktails while you wait - perfect for anyone looking to try several different ones before leaving. Our party ordered a variety of different food: salads, skillets, pancakes, burgers and fruit plates. Everyone was very pleased with their meals. I have this place 2 stars cause the food and drinks were great! But I could not even enjoy them cause the music was so loud I couldn't even think. We had a group of 6 at a table and we could not hear each other talk, we could not hear the server, the whole thing was a nightmare cause of how loud it was. I get trying to create a vibe, but you don't need it to be that loud to do it. I should be able to carry a conversation during brunch. But instead we just sat there trying to yell over the music unsuccessfully. My family and I love Hash Kitchen!! They have great drinks and great food. All the time. The service is also excellent, Ive never had a waitress forget anything or not come back to check on us even with on busiest time of day. Id say though I dont like that you have to be there in person to reserve a table and wait times can run up to two hours or longer. By the time you sit down your just HANGRY... there are so many alternative ways to fix this issue idk why they don't implement one of them. Especially for the people coming from out of town like me who drive an hour for this experience. It wouldn't kill to allow me to reserve the table before I leave my house. read more

I was very excited this morning to try this place after looking at some of the pictures and reviews. I stepped in to put my name in the waiting list and the music was blasting so loud I couldn't deal. I have never complained of music volume in a business in my life.
