Piri-piri chicken, garlic bread, and zero self-control. Nando's is already one of our go-to spots, so it didn't take much convincing. The vibe hits that perfect sweet spot between casual and "we're pretending this is a planned night out." And the food? Consistently elite. My husband went with his usual: the 2 1/4 legs, hot. A bold man with a questionable spice tolerance, but I respect the commitment. I ordered the chicken thigh skewers, medium, because I like to feel something without seeing my life flash before my eyes. Now let's talk about the real star of the show: the garlic bread. I don't know what they put in it, but I would trust it with my financial decisions. It's that good. He also got the fries (which, okay... a little skimpy this time, Nando's, we noticed ), and I switched things up with the corn on the cob, which absolutely held its own. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we needed even though we didn't know we needed it. We met up with my sister and her kids, who ordered after us, but honestly the best part of the night was just hanging out, talking, and letting the table slowly turn into a graveyard of sauce-covered plates and crumbs. Final verdict: Came for matcha. Left with full stomachs, zero regrets, and a renewed emotional attachment to garlic bread. Would accidentally end up here again 10/10.

This food stall is located in this gorgeous shopping center food court that has a big bar in the middle and there was even karaoke going on when I visited with my friend. Firstly, we ordered the Red Buldak Fried chicken. It was made with their signature fried chicken topped with buldak ramen and a sunny side up egg. The chicken itself was so crispy and delicious. The meat was juicy and succulent. They fried it well and I loved the rice flour batter texture. I also especially loved the spicy, creamy, and cheesy buldak ramen topped on the chicken which added so much flavor and depth. Just delicious. Secondly, we ordered the Kimchi Fried Rice and that was great as well! I thought it would be overkill in terms of flavor based on the pictures, but the kimchi rice flavor was good and not too salty, spicy, and sour. The rice was perfectly cooked and fried and I also love the nicely shaped egg on top. It paired well with the fried chicken. I would highly recommend this chain to anyone visiting or in the Atlanta area to try! Petitioning for them to bring a location to LA!

Good fried chicken is hard to find, especially for someone like me…read more I have been blessed with health ailments along with an extremely picky stomach that can't tolerate greasy foods. Along with that blessing, I find myself being addicted to everything that makes me sick. Life hands you lemons, ya eat it anyway. So imagine my surprise when I dig into a box of fried chicken and don't see grease collecting around the entire box. It can't taste good if it's not greasy, right? I was delightfully proven wrong. The chicken was juicy af. Yes, so juicy I actually said wtf. The meat was tender, the skin was crunchy. And it was like an ASMR session kind of crunchy. I would've recorded the sound but unfortunately I'm allergic to ASMR. I'll be honest, when I first saw 98k Chicken I didn't have high expectations. I thought it would be another Zaxby's, Popeyes, KFC, etc. But they've really set themselves apart! The price is far more reasonable than other chain fried chicken restaurants, the portions are bigger, and the quality of the food is consistently superior. If they're able to keep up with what they're doing, I think this will be a community favorite. Good food speaks for itself, and so do the kind owners that pour their hearts and souls into their businesses. When I go to a fast food restaurant, I barely expect people to look at me in the eye, let alone carry on a conversation with me. But the woman at the counter is actually quite chatty! She makes you feel like you're talking to a friend, and if you stop by a few times, she even shares tea. IYKYK. The interior space is big and quiet enough if you wanna grab a meal and get some work done. There's a little room that's sectioned off, and it's a bit of a gem. I don't remember if they have WiFi, next time I go I'll check and come back to update my review.

Despite us having a big party, it was easy to find seating altogether which was a surprise because the space itself isn't tbat big. We ended up ordering the Kimchi fried chicken and went with whole and boneless. We also got a tteokbokki with cheese and rose options. Kimchi fried chicken - delicious and crisp skin and very moist chicken inside. Even in Georgia, the home of fried chicken, this was a delightful savory experience. There was a good balance of the stir fried kimchi and sauce where you had a solid coating but weren't drowning. The whole was enough for myself and my wife to share and we had leftovers. We got medium for spice but could have gone spicier. Their spice is quite mild from my impression. Tteokbokki - delicious. I personally prefer it when the rice cakes are more crispy but being able to add their rice to mix in the sauce and soak up all the flavor was great. We also had leftovers from this so we got to-go boxes. Later, I ate both at my house and even cold, the flavoring was fantastic. This was definitely the effort to go to John's Creek though I likely will pick another closer location in the future.
