Luckily our server was able to move us to the covered outdoor seating after a little while which was a little better. The covered patio has fans. However, bonus for sitting outside is that they're having a promo during HRW where happy hour drink specials are going on all day. The food and drinks were all yummy though. We got the yum yum fries for the table to share. I ordered the duck duck shroom pizza and the aperol spritz. The portions of everyone's food were huge so I'd say a good bang for your buck. We experienced multiple servers with our table switch and they were all nice and helpful.

Getting seated was a little chaotic. Indoor seating was pretty limited and not managed well. We end up sitting on the patio (still pretty toasty around sunset time). The giant pretzel we ordered for appetizer was excellent, highlight of the meal. The sourdough pizzas were pretty thin, overall I'd give the pizzas a 3/5. Of the 4 pizzas we tried, my personal ranking: 1. Spicy Goat 2. Duck Duck Shroom 3. Heirloom Margherita 4. Sweet & Spicy Pepperoni. Service was also disorganized and a little slow. I'd come back if I'm craving that pretzel.

When I arrived, I was the only person there, which gave me the chance to learn more about the restaurant. I ordered the fried chicken with collard greens and mac and cheese and everything was delicious! Christina was one of the best servers I've ever had. She was friendly, attentive, and made a really good espresso martini. The food and service were so good that I had to return and try their brunch! Since the Astros were playing at home, Kulture also offered specials on appetizers and cocktails. Will I be back? Most definitely! The only thing missing was a live band. They were playing all the good R&B and 2000s hits, and I could honestly stay at Kulture all day grooving, eating, and sipping a few drinks!

My friend grabbed the Kulture Club Chicken, and I went for the Fried Catfish and Grits. Our waitress, Savannah (pretty sure that was her name), was a gem. She didn't just take our order; she guided us. She told my friend the club had goat cheese and broke down exactly why she probably wouldn't like it if she wasn't into blue cheese. Then she looked at me -- pescatarian, hungry -- and said, "Add the shrimp and get the crab sauce on top." Best decision I made all day. The plate didn't stand a chance. I would've taken an "after" photo, but I cleaned my plate. The staff were also super helpful with parking validation and making sure we were set. Inside, the vibe is casual but elevated -- stylish without trying too hard. I'm already planning my next visit.

The Mac and cheese was very flavorful and creamy. The service was wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's not a very large place so there's not many seats if they are busy. The red beans were ok, nothing special, but not bad either - 6/10. The GREEENS tho.... 1/10. NOPE - never again. Downstairs has warmer lights and a kinda delicate feel. Anyhow, Let me just cut straight to it. Honestly I expected more from the food, they were just meh. The chicken wings could do with some flavor and its presentation needs fixing, maybe cut them. The wings were also dry and we had to ask for ketchup so maybe add some of the syrup to it or offer gravy. We enjoyed the oxtail omelet even though a few of my party thought it needed a little salt to boost it. The fried green tomatoes could have a dipping sauce but the famous chilli biscuits were well received. The country Benedict is a fried boil egg. Just incase you wanted a poached egg for your Benedict and the salad was over powering. The drinks were great and refreshing. The mocktails they have were nice too.

We tried the chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, hot chilli biscuits, oxtail omelette, jalapeño poppers, fried green tomato, croissant French toast, Mac n cheese and chicken fried steak. Of them all, I really liked the hot chilli biscuits, oxtail omelette, french toast and fried green tomatoes. The hot chilli biscuits were sized more like mini pancakes. The croissant French toast was delicious and sweet enough to eat without syrup, which is how I had it. I would get the oxtail omelette or the croissant French toast myself, if I come back. For drinks we tried the Moscow mule and peach mimosas. The peach mimosa was a little medicinal tasting, so I'd recommend the original mimosa.

You could easily come here for a fancy birthday celebration or just a casual lunch and brunch. I loved that I didn't feel weird having two kids under six with us. There were other families there, and it felt very welcoming without sacrificing that nice restaurant vibe. Everyone in the family really enjoyed what they ordered and the service was great! My oldest daughter had the cheeseburger with french fries and loved it, especially the bread which was nicely toasted and gave it a great crunch. My youngest had the chicken tenders with mac and cheese, and my husband really liked his stuffed poblano pepper dish. I ordered the country-fried pork with greens and mashed potatoes, and everything on my plate was delicious. The mashed potatoes were great, and the greens leaned more sweet than savory, which I really enjoyed. The fried green tomatoes were another major standout with the sauce they served. I honestly wish we had a spot like this back home! My only small critique is to skip the sweet tea. I haven't found a single place in Houston where the sweet tea was actually sweet enough for my taste, but overall, this was a fantastic spot with great service that I'd highly recommend.
