They were also out of Kool-Aid, and they didn't have any sides, but they were about to close. Visited Chicken plus Tuesday @1:15pm. Arrived and let's just say, lock all valuables in the car and hold your purse close. They were two men outside, one selling multiple items that I was not interested in, and looks like maybe a Hispanic older male who had a cell phone but were patronizing customers to give him money for food. Building was small on the inside and extremely old, dusty, no upkeep of cleanliness. I was next to order and ask the cashier about suggestion. She was extremely dry and no very helpful. I mentioned it was my first time and it went in one ear and out the other. I then ordered a 5 wing special with fries and kool aid. Food was decent. You only get ketchup with your fries. Food came out in about 6-7 minutes. Overall, food was okay. It's the risk you take with an establishment in the less monetized area. Overall, I will come back with my husband but the health department needs to come in and at least have them clean while Servicing food to patrons. read more

When I asked for an ETA again after waiting 25 minutes they told me I "might as well cancel the order" because they "have to make orders for everyone else here before I get to it" that's not how anyone should be running a business. On this day last week I really wanted some good fried chicken and I said oh I'm going to Chicken Plus! Now when you walk in don't expect anything fancy because this is a hood spot! It has been here for years. I am giving them 4 starts because they are not very friendly when handling customers and maybe they don't care to because people will continue to patronize this establishment. I didn't want fake chicken like the other places I wanted some real seasoned fried chicken. I ordered the 6 piece wing dinner with fries and a large kook-aid which I call hood-aid. Only cost me $11 dollars. When I tell you this chicken is seasoned so well that you don't need to add any salt at all. I mean seasoned down to the meat as if they brine the chicken and so crispy. Every bite has a crunch. What I really liked was that the chicken was not huge and the size of my hand it was small and seemed to be fresh! I really hope it was fresh because it Aires tasted like it. The fries were seasoned good and it also came with a roll. Whenever you go there, make sure to get the nook-aid. Oh my goodness it was so good! Just thinking about it makes we want to go today.
