NES Movers were some of the best (tied with Excalibur Moving Company in LA for best movers ever). They arrived early and I swear, NEVER stopped moving. It was like the Hulk had four children and then those children drank double-shot espressos. The owner, Nick, was efficient, nice and hyper. I had gone to Woodstar and bought a to-go box of coffee for everyone, but they didn't touch it. Probably didn't have time between running. They treated everything with care and wrapped extensively with blankets and plastic. Even after a 3,500 mile trip in a moving van that I'm pretty sure doesn't have shocks at all, nothing was broken. They did an excellent and professional job jigsawing everything correctly into the truck and belted it with straps (we purchased straps from them). We were in a midst of an incredibly stressful cross-country move (to say the least), and they were one of the best purchases we made. Everything was done in record time and it gave us more of the day to get the rest of the moving errands done. Thanks Nick and team! Tip -- they use more blankets than movers we've hired in the past; be sure to have many on hand.

They have moved me, family members, and some co-workers/friends out over the years and I haven't heard a single complaint from anyone. Quite the opposite. They're curtious and cautious with the way they handle the furniture. They do not waste time, but also do not rush the process. They take the time needed for careful planning ahead of the job to map out the most efficient route if the move is a longer distance. Easy ebb & flow the day-of. I had zero worries and was able to do what I needed the day of my move, while they took care of the rest. Incredibly grateful for the way they handle things on their end, because moving is stressful and chaotic enough. I would venture to say wildly fair for the service you end up receiving. At this point I'm already going to have to pay over $1000 to get a hitch put on my car and haul a trailer from RI to CA. I STILL had to leave a LOT of my belongings behind and this jerk tries to charge me for an hour his guys couldn't figure out a couch. He finally relented since his guy had already told me. I get a email from HireAHelper , which is where I found them asking about my experience and I told them. They asked me to file a claim. Now, My things are still in storage and I'm very concerned about how they were packed after all of this so I am probably going to be even more devastated when I finally move to my place. This Joe gives me a lousy $50for my over $1000 and I then find out he has charged me that extra hour I wasn't supposed to be charged in the 1st place! He is a THEIF! Period! They receive our clients goods, and deliver them to their home. You can pick up or have your items delivered. The second company is Rexton Movers owned by two brothers; they work with us and for the client, ivan and his brother Serghei will organize, pack, unpack, and are capable of assembling any piece of furniture or moving and rearranging any of the homes we do. We settled on what I *thought* was needed, and he sent a rough estimate within a couple hours. A big relief! However, my circumstances changed abruptly, and I needed to cancel the move. As I had no idea If I would be moving within a couple months or a couple years, I couldn't in good faith postpone. Alex was completely understanding. Through the entire process, from first contact to an unfortunate need to cancel, he was courteous, upfront about all matters, offered helpful suggestions, and very pleasant to work with. My only issue, falls entirely on my shoulders. They do offer a refund policy, but it was me who misunderstood the details. On their site, it clearly states that a refund will be granted only if canceled within 48 hours of booking. I had read it as before 48 hours of my move. That's not on them, my fault. The attic is only accessible through a cut out in the upstairs hallway with a drop-down ladder, and you have to crawl around on your hands and knees to get to stuff. It was also pretty hot up there today. Despite these difficulties, they worked diligently and got the job done in the time we had planned, plus a sofa and a gas grill moved to the dumpster to boot. But not only did they do a great job, but they were also extremely nice to work with. Very responsive .
