Just a sample of the gorgeous produce

WOW! This was my very first visit to any Harris Teeter grocery store. I was completely impressed with the store. I know that fruits and vegetables are so nice in North Carolina. This grocery store has so many beautiful fruits and vegetables! Gorgeous displays of amazing variety of everything. The entire grocery store is beautiful with an incredible selection of every kind of food you could imagine. All sorts of varieties. I had originally gone in there because I was traveling and I had forgotten my hair supplies. I went in there to buy some hair and make up items and couldn't believe how gorgeous it was. I got everything I needed for my hair and make up and some wonderful food products as well. They have self check out and regular check out. Everyone was very helpful and friendly working at the store. Lots of parking in a nice clean shopping center. This store is so worth a visit

This Harris Teeter is my home store. It's conveniently less than 5 minutes from my house. The store is always clean and well organized. They always have wonderful produce clearance and bakery deals. They could do better with having more lanes open for checkout. However they have a load of self checkout. Harris Teeter usually has very fresh produce! It's like the Chick-fil-A of grocery stores. This location in particular is always clean & shelves are normally fully stocked. Their store brand Turkey bacon is literally top TWO when it comes to good quality and flavor. This is one item that's hard to come by but when it's in stock, we like to rack up! They are priced higher that other grocery stores like Walmart or Food Lion but there's a few items I like to buy from HT.

I stopped in at Harris Teeter while staying nearby for business. I hadn't been to a Harris Teeter before but they seem to be a staple in the area. The entrance was nice and clean with the familiar grocery store layout. Fresh produce, bakery, deli sections all located around the perimeter with the rest in the center aisles. I did find a decent selection of plant based meat alternatives here but they seemed a little pricier than normal for me. I got some fresh veggies and hummus along with a few other things and used the self checkout. I found what I needed quickly and was on my way. The employees seemed helpful but I didn't interact directly with any of them. I would go back when I'm in the area again.

Another star in the Harris-Teeter constellation, this supermarket has the usual great stuff. Very nice produce section, great seafood and butchery, lots of grocery aisles including pets and kitchenware items, pharmacy and personal care. There's also a Starbucks! Hot bar, salad bar, even a "trail mix bar"! Large parking lot that's easy to access. Note that not every exit is easy to get to I-485. They have signs up!

I was so excited to try the salad bar at the HT nearby my job. As I'm eating my salad I tasted grainy substance, started to pick through salad and realized there's dirt in the spinach. Completely ruined my appetite. Not sure why bc the salad bar look extremely clean but spinach was clearly not washed thoroughly. Very disappointed.

TLDR: They have what you need. They have free WiFi. They have free cookies and a Starbucks. What more could you ask for in a grocery store?

Nice store, just don't shop there before 7am. Nothing is put out and you can't get cash back when you check out.

I don't understand why they can't be separate as there are multiple other supermarkets with separate businesses from their pharmacy. We'll see. This pharmacy is located inside the Publix at Southline, a relatively new shopping plaza along South Blvd. It has its own parking deck - two levels! - beneath the stores with separate elevators for the supermarket and the retail shops. The parking is free. We were here for our COVID vaccine boosters this morning, having made appointments online using https://www.publix.com/covid-vaccine. Not every Publix Pharmacy has the same vaccines and I believe that whether you're Team Pfizer or Team Moderna, you should stick to the same. The CDC is still working out the "mix and match" so you should do as your doctor recommends. As for the shot, the pharmacist did a great job despite the fact that she did not have a "helper" today. She was as busy as a single waitress working a Waffle House next to the church on a Sunday morning. Lots of hustle but still professional as she answered phone calls, prepared syringes and then provided shots. Yes, I checked the label before she did anything. Just to be sure. As for the shot and reaction, the injection site started off at 0.5 and by evening was a 3. I kept my hand in my pocket because moving the arm was painful. It was not a great night's sleep. The entire next day was a waste. I sat in bed, slept and dozed all day. At +36 hours, I was at 100% all good. Hooray, it will be 100% effective when I land in Germany in two weeks. Thanks, Publix Pharmacy. I appreciate you! [UPDATE: NO, YELP MERGED THEM AND I'M PAST ASKING FOR THEM TO FIX THEIR MISTAKES.] [Review 16130 overall - 3142 in North Carolina - 1635 of 2021.]

I asked for a Turkey, bacon and cheese sub. He goes to say, "oh that's extra meat". I asked, how? Then went to say that I've never been told that and I'm there often. The guy continues on with his reasonings. I was lost and confused by this time. So, I let him know that I didn't mind paying for what I wanted. That was just some new info to me. He started going about how not charging affects his bonus pay and this that and the third. I didn't ask him for any of that info. Carried out so bad, he ended up burning up the bacon. I kindly let him know he burned my bacon. He picks it up and look at it. I replied again, "it's burned, I don't want it"... Trying to be nasty and look, bacon turned out to be useless. Hopefully "he's" paying for it, smh. And I doubt that he will. I never want to encounter him ( older, black American guy) again.'Never had that problem with anyone else. Sometimes the line can be extra long or there's been a time when they were out of white bread(but the young guy, took care of that for me)... This guy was rude, too old to carry the situation out like he did. I was fresh off work, tired and all(still in uniform). I had no time for that type energy. I was trying to grab dinner and get home. That's it and that is all. I work in an executive kitchen in Uptown, we please and take care of our customers. I would do the same and give the same energy even if it was QT, Subway and any other place. I ended up purchasing the sub as well as a pack of Oscar Myers fully cooked bacon strips( again I do not mind, paying for what I want). The service and experience was horrible. He needs to stay off front line. Especially tell me, the customer... "If I don't charge, it affects my bonus. Go get who usually serves you and I'll tell them too. See, I don't mind. They must not know"... ... Pissed me off, so UNPROFESSIONAL. I'm sure the few who were behind me in line heard him also. They ended up walking away.

The staff there is friendly, quick, and always willing to help you find what you're looking for. They do the critical job of listening to the type of slices I want and complying. I also really appreciate their enclosed refrigerated sections throughout the store. It keeps the aisles comfortable, the products cold, and everything feels cleaner and more thoughtfully arranged compared to open‑air coolers you see elsewhere. I presume that there is also an efficiency gain for electricity usage which I can also appreciate. One downside for me is their Bakery. I appreciate a selection of freshly baked goods and find that lacking here. Another is their craft beer selection. It's noticeably limited compared to other grocery stores in the area, and it feels like an opportunity they haven't fully tapped into yet. A few more local or seasonal options would go a long way. Overall, though, even though I miss my Lowes Foods, it's a good store with decent service and a layout that makes shopping pretty easy to navigate.

It's consistently clean, easy to navigate, and just a really reliable place to shop. As a transplant from Northern California, my grocery habits were shaped by stores like Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Grocery Outlet, and the amazing bulk selection at Rainbow Grocery. I haven't quite found that same bulk-style option here in Charlotte yet--and while I do miss having an H Mart nearby like in the Bay Area, this Harris Teeter does a great job filling the gap for everyday shopping in between my larger grocery runs. Parking is always easy, and the store layout is one of the things I appreciate most. The aisles here feel a little wider than the one in my building uptown in Fourth Ward, which makes shopping more comfortable--especially when the store is busy. The self-checkout lines move quickly, and there's always an attendant nearby to help when someone gets stuck with the machine. I originally popped in for something simple--milk and cookies--but as usual, I ended up leaving with a few extras because the selection is just that good. I found bucatini pasta on sale, which was a nice surprise, and I couldn't pass up some of my regular favorites from the deli and bakery. Highlights for me include: * Fresh produce section that's consistently well stocked * Bakery items, especially the pre-sliced caraway rye bread * Boar's Head deli meats, including the London broil and honey-cured ham * A solid selection of cheeses--my go-to is a good Gruyère I don't typically buy my primary proteins here since I tend to save those purchases for Whole Foods, but Harris Teeter is perfect for those in-between trips when you need quality ingredients without making a special trip across town. Bottom line: Clean store, easy parking, friendly service, and dependable selection. This location makes grocery shopping simple and efficient--and sometimes even a little dangerous if you walk in for one item and leave with five.
