I walked the entire store and was extremely happy with the selection. Since the store is so new, a lot of the items don't have prices up yet. I felt like compared to other international markets. The produce prices were little higher than I would like. I did buy a few items And would come back in the future. I was most excited about the food stalls. The guys at the Venezuelan food stall were so helpful. They were able to translate the food items for us and even let us sample some things. We did buy a lunch plate with goat, yellow rice, and beans. My dad really enjoyed the plate. The coffee/drink food stall also serves ice cream, but it wasn't available yet. It reminded me of the local meat markets back home in Houston, and I really wanted to find a Black-owned spot with that same feel. This was exactly it. I knew going in that it wasn't going to be a fancy, Whole Foods-type place. It's an older, traditional meat market, and that's exactly the vibe I was looking for. Parking is on the side, and the entrance is right off the street. Inside, the meat counter is in the back. Customer service was great. I went the day after Thanksgiving, so it wasn't busy at all. I came looking for pig feet, and the staff was quick, helpful, and friendly. They usually have pig feet pre-packaged and priced, but they were out, so the butcher grabbed fresh ones and cut them exactly how I wanted (longways), wrapped them up, and sent me on my way. They accept Apple Pay, which is always a plus, and they offer text or printed receipts. Prices were reasonable, and overall it was a cool meat market with good service. I'll definitely be going back for my meats.

Yesterday I went and visited to get me two oxtail plates and I did come towards the closing time of the hot food bar so there was not a lot of options. I was OK with it because they had enough oxtail and I was grateful for. I got one plate of oxtails, white rice and plantains and my second plate was oxtails, Spanish rice, and plantains. They also have a fresh juice option behind the hot food bar, and all of their fresh juices are excellent. I love the mango and soursop. Those are my two favorite.
