    Great flower and balloon options!

The things that I dislike most about this Harris Teeter location are the parking situation and that it is always crowded. Plus, I do think that the prices for groceries here are competitive so check the weekly circular! I will have to say that if you are looking for flowers, they have a great selection. This is a quick fix for when you piss of a loved one, have an emergency or want to say just because..

This is my favorite location! Always so organized and, unlike many other HTs in the area/that I've been to, they actually have most of the things advertised as on sale. $5 sushi and subs on Fridays are the best!

Great shopping amazing deals and very friendly staff. The store has a wide variety of foods for all occasions and times. They have breakfast, lunch, dinner, and they also have a small toy collection. When I come here I find it very exciting to see what is new in the aisles and what they have on sale.

I haven't had problems with expired food here in a while. The meat seems more fresh too. Hope it stays this way!

Disclaimer: This was my first EVER visit to an ABC Store in NC…read more- So I can't say for sure if it's "As good as it' get's" but it's as good as I've gotten! So contrary to what you might be thinking, I came here to buy alcohol to eat- not drink. I woke up with the sudden urge to make Banana's Foster and went down to Trader Joes for ingredients. I was reminded of the funky NC alcohol laws (CA Trader Joe's sell wine, beer and hard liquor-FYI they even have their own generic brand of vodkas and rums!). So I quickly Googled the nearest ABC store to home and wham- I ended up here! I didn't want to invest in an entire bottle of rum (especially since the recipe called for only a few tbsp) so I bought a few of the tiny airplane bottles. They seemed to have a pretty wide selection and fair prices. The ladies at the front counter told me that there was another ABC store nearby, but that location was small and served you from behind a counter. These same ladies also helped me pick the right brand of rum for my recipe (which I was thankful for since rum ain't my poison). For all of these reason's I will return! Well, all of these reason's and the simple fact that this is the only place I CAN come to buy alcohol. North Carolina kinda has me by the balls on this one.

There isn't much to like about this ABC location…read more Like most ABCs, this one is in a strip mall. But it's probably one of the smallest and most crowded strip malls in Raleigh. Good luck finding a parking space on a Saturday afternoon. Also, good luck working your way around the Papa John's delivery drivers on the way out. By the way, much love to all of the Papa John's drivers - you guys are awesome and thanks for all the pizza. The selection is one of the worst I've seen. I can get most of my favorites (Tito's, Tanqueray, Bulleit), but I always have a hard time finding anything out of the ordinary. On my last visit, the store was operating two checkout lanes, and then switched to just one as soon as 10 people needed to check out. I didn't quite understand that strategy. The Cameron Village store is much nicer.

But it looks like at least a few of those employees were transferred to the Tryon location. Everyone who works there just seems so happy, they're always laughing and smiling and happy to chat with customers. It's just a really nice ambiance. The produce is super fresh with great prices. One of the best things about Lowe's is that they mark down their food that's getting close to the expiration date. I've been able to get huge containers of house made guacamole and salsa for just a couple bucks. It's worth checking out!

Lowes Foods is one of those. The store itself is like any other grocery store, but they always do a good job of stocking local, and regional fare that isn't available outside the area unless you spend a fortune having it shipped. Lowes chicken -- all things chicken from the deli is one of those --- as must as I like WFoods, Lowes does their chicken and chicken salad in a certain way that just puts it in the win column for me. The version with cranberries -- not in stock when I was there -- was always a go-to. Other things I didn't know I would miss until they weren't available: pimento cheese spread -- yeah -- I know -- pretty common , ordinary, and often considered low-brow, but there are rare times where something so ordinary would hit the spot. Easy to make, but not to duplicate. Maybe it's not the food so much as it is the "southernness" of Lowes and the offerings they have that aren't found elsewhere, either at the other chain stores in the area or in other parts of the country. I don't know what it is, but Lowes shouldn't be overlooked if you want a store with local roots.
