I can't comment on installation or service - just their sales tactics. A salesman came by today pushing the energy efficiency schtick. Nearly desperate to get an appointment for someone to come over and do a bid. Asked for business cards: "no, they don't give those to us." What about a brochure? "No, they don't give us those either. So when can we schedule an appointment next week?" The pushing for an appointment continued for a few more minutes despite my telling him I didn't appreciate pushy sales tactics. When I asked him to leave, lo and behold, he produced a brochure. At some point, perhaps sales managers will realize that this type of sales training actually dissuades prospects from choosing Harley. read more

Yes, you read that right...$36,725 + tax for 6 windows and 2 exterior doors. I ended up going with another company (referred to me by friends), which quoted me $6,000 to replace the 6 windows. After doing an internet search for window replacement, I was put in contact with Harley Exteriors. The salesman who originally came out was punctual, knowledgeable, and friendly. He had an extensive pitch, so if you do this, allow plenty of time. I didn't mind, as I didn't know anything about windows, so I used the opportunity as a learning experience. It helped me greatly when I was listening to other companies' pitches later in the process. He understood that I wasn't buying that day, and although he went through the typical pricing reductions during the pitch, he didn't pressure us to purchase that day. Office staff then followed up with us about once a week. I was waiting for some money to become available, so wasn't ready to give the green light. Some of these staff were a bit pushy, but not obnoxious. Once I decided to go with Harley and made an appointment with a second sales person, I got a Regional Operations Manager. He was also very knowledgeable and friendly, and provided us with additional discounts until the price was where I felt I could afford it and feel good about the purchase. The next person to visit was the guy that took all the detailed measurements and planned the installation. Again, prompt, knowledgeable, and polite. My windows came in even earlier than promised, and they scheduled my installation for three days from then. The team of installers was polite, prompt, and knowledgeable (sorry for the repetition, what can I say? They were consistent!). They installed all 23 windows in less than a day, double checked their work, cleaned up inside and out and were out the door by 3:30! I've checked every window and they are consistent with the quality of window that was originally demonstrated for me. I am very pleased with my experience with Harley Exteriors. read more

I called to get an estimate for a door. The man immediately told me my husband would need to be there to answer any questions they may have. I did not mention anything about a husband. I told him I was capable of answering any questions they had. He said my husband would need to be there to make the decision together - this was an estimate (for a single door no less, which they advertise "no job is too small"), not a decision, but I assured him I can make the decision about the door. More insane back and forth about how my husband had to be there. I asked him if he was really refusing to schedule an estimate with me, and he told me they've found it's "a waste of their time" to go out for an estimate if the husband isn't there, so I would just need to find a day where my husband could be there too. This is not only a shocking, discriminatory practice, it is also bad business. I said I would go with someone else. I've received repeated phone calls from them every day since. read more

We had first contact with Harley Exteriors at the Evergreen Fair last August. We set up an appt for that week and Elio came to our house to talk about windows. He worked with our evening schedule and spent a few hours with us going over different options and making sure it worked with our budget. He was also very professional, friendly, even with our dogs and funny! We signed up to replace all windows and our slider that night. Financing was approved in the next few days and critical measurements were taken a week after our appt. Windows were ordered and were ready to install by the end of October. Install took a day and a half for 10 windows and 1 sliding door. We even upgraded our kitchen window to a garden window. The crew was prompt at the scheduled arrival time and got to work right away. They were great about working in one part of the house while I kept our dogs contained in another. When I noticed that two of the windows were installed reverse of our plan, I let the crew know and they fixed them right away, no complaints or issues, even though they were finished installing them and cleaning them. They finished 2/3 of everything that day. They came back the next day and finished the rest, called everything up well, cleaned all the glass and cleaned up after themselves; they did leave a few supplies behind like tape and a drop cloth. When we found out the lock on our slider didn't engage properly with the key, we called Harley and they set up an appt with the manufacturer to replace it that week. We LOVE our windows! My favorite being my kitchen garden window. :) We are happy with the service and process overall; there were a couple times we needed to make reminders, but no complaints. We can also definitely feel a difference in the warmth of our home; we can't feel the outside temp through them like our old ones. The white frames really help brighten things up, both inside and out. We definitely recommend Harley Exteriors and will consider them first when it comes time to replace our gutters! I called Harley Exteriors to request a quote to replace windows and doors in my home. The call center was able to send a sales rep out later that week. The rep arrived promptly at 6 p.m. on a weekday evening to look at my project. It was the WORST SALES EXPERIENCE I have ever had in my 25+ years as a homeowner. First, "E", the sales rep, looked at each window and door, but did not take any measurements. Then we sat down to look at his options. E insisted on giving me a lesson in structural engineering to explain how superior their product is, even after I told him I didn't want that level of detail. He also tried to convince me that his warranty covered everything because there are 'no exclusions'. It was interesting to have a window salesman try to mansplain to me how I didn't understand how to read the warranty that only covers "manufacturer defects and installation defects" to mean that nothing is excluded. I am, after all, an attorney! After 1 1/2 hours, he still had not measured my windows, but I was interested in his product. I told him it was getting late and I had other things to do so he had to wrap it up. After 2 hours (8 p.m.), I told him it was time to go. Another hour and 4 more attempts to get him out of my house proved fruitless, and I was over the windows. By 10 p.m., I finally got him out of my house by carrying one of his bags to his car. I FELT VIOLATED, DISRESPECTED, AND NOT LISTENED TO AT ALL! E kept insisting that he could make friends with my German Shepherd, who was in the bathroom the whole time so she wouldn't attack him, even after I repeatedly told him she was not friendly. I did not let him meet her. LADIES, as a woman living alone, I am warning you NOT TO LET THESE PEOPLE IN YOUR HOME! If the salesperson can't hear "no" from me and respect my multiple requests to leave, what would happen if I hired them to do work in my house? I have read reviews about the 4 hour sales presentation and the owner always responds, 'gee, our rep said it went well and you were really nice'. OF COURSE I WAS NICE - THERE WAS A STRANGE MAN IN MY HOUSE WHO WOULD NOT LEAVE! I had backup, but didn't want to be pushed to use it. Bottom line - forego their quote and look elsewhere. After setting up an appointment for a 10AM on-site estimate with my two landlords, I received a call at 9:10AM the day of in which they told me that they didn't have anyone that could come out to give an estimate. Following this, I received up to four calls a day from them trying to reschedule after having already let them know that I wouldn't be available for a week. Finally, once I had a chance to get back in touch with them, they let me know that they couldn't do the job because they don't install interior windows. This was after I had already explained the job to three of their employees prior to the original onsite appointment. I have had a appointment date for 2 months to have a large patio door and windows scheduled for Monday the 18 of July. On Friday morning, I called after not hearing from the company for over a month to varify the plan iss on schedule. I was assured the schedule was still on time. So, friday afternoon at the last minute I got a call to say the door did not make the truck. 2 months planning, taking time off work, plans for animals all to be cancelled at the last minute. I was promised a call back on Friday afternoon, Its tuesday and noone has bothewred to call me back. Multiple attempts were made to contact the company yesterday, no answer. May 19th 2021 we agreed to have Harley replace 23 windows in our home with new windows. Nov. 4th and 5th they were coming out to take out old and replace with new. the 5th was raining and the cancelled. Re-scheduled to come out Sunday Nov. 14th and no show or call. They made it back out to finish putting the windows in. There were issues with the window's and screen's throughout, and we told them right away. We have had very poor communication since then. When I got to speak to someone from Harley. I couldn't speak to a manager or an owner. I told them I was going to file a complaint and I was told that the management would be on the lookout for it. there is some much more I want to say about the company. ( none of it is good ) They are trying to do something about it, now, over a year later. I have a lot of Medical issues going on and they were aware of it. TOTAL MISREPRESENTATION....scam and several calls and texts. I filled out the online form indicating I needed window repair for a broken window I have. The online ad boasted the "Best in Marysville". I received a call within ten seconds and several texts, while on this call. We set up an appointment and she asked how many windows were involved in the breakage, what kind of window it was, how old was it....so she was representing themselves as a window repair place. She then asked if they could inspect my other windows, while they were here and how many were there. She continued to say all of this was free of charge....hmmm. I continued to get bombarded with phone calls and texts. I called them back to cancel my appointment for window repair and this representative told me that they don't do window repair. I asked to have them stop calling and texting me. I had received seven phone calls and several texts, since I had spoke with the original person four hours prior. We signed a contract with Harley to install 12 Windows in August 2021. They were delayed in getting them manufactured and installed, which was understandable. Of the 7 windows they installed, two large ones were defective and immediately had condensation on the inside surface of the glass. One they left without installing, and the remaining four have never been installed. Once they cancelled an installation and once we did. We have complained about the condensation, but they insist that "the manufacturer" says that's normal. We had similar windows the same size and same location for 30 years before they finally failed and started exhibiting condensation. (See Pictures) Harley has never made any effort to correct or rectify this problem. After placing the first order, before the installation, we ordered 7 more windows, but after two days decided to cancel the order and wait and see how the first order turned out. We paid $9000 down for the second order. We called our Project Manager after two business days and explained why we were cancelling the order. We were told that our cancellation had been noted, and we mailed the cancellation notice on the 2nd business day. We subsequently received an email from the Project Manager verifying that our second order had been cancelled. Harley cashed our check anyway, and has held our money for over 6 months. The "critical measurements" for the second set of windows were never taken, and Harley still refuses to return our funds. We cannot recommend this company to anyone needing windows. read more

Overall experience with their customer service agents, Sales manager (Aaron), Sales Agent (Elio) and Finance Manager (Jessica), was very friendly, professional, very respectful, and in the end, very understanding to the sudden financial changes I faced, resulting in my cancelling the project. If it wasn't for my sudden financial issue, I was very much looking forward to having all 27 windows replaced along with the huge Patio Doors. They had me setup with a Great financing plan, a good build plan, as well as the fantastic product and Lifetime warranty and service that come with it. I have gone through many of the comments, mainly focusing on the negative, as I wanted to learn what I could be up against. But I must say, even with ALL the reschedules I asked Harley to do, and the requests to call me months later when I felt I would be better financially, Harley's customer service respected the request and did Not call me relentlessly. When Elio met with me, I knew there was a lot of info to go over, and that there would be the "Sales Pitch"...but at NO time did he make me feel pressured. Elio connected very well with me and understood what I could or could Not commit to. And it Was worth learning all he needed to show. I have a full understanding of why Harley's Luxury Vinyl product is so strong and would be the best product for my home. When it came time to talk with financing, Jessica was well aware of the project and limitations thanks to the great notes Elio passed on. And thank you, Aaron J, for your note to me as well. When they sold me the windows they were all nice till when i tried to get some information about the warranty and windows. No one was really trying to help me out. They stopped calling for about 2 months, but started to call again & I advised I was not interested. I received a very aggressive return call about a month later; when I informed them that I had already contracted with another firm they began asking questions about other aspects of my home and when I refused to disclose this unrelated information i was informed by the representative that my Information was a matter of public record and just making things easier if I answered her questions. I would give them zero start if I could. We asked for a dog door in the slider that we were having installed and they said that they do that all the time and that it was a great product. However, when we finally got it installed, we could immediately tell that the product was not good. When we open the door, the dog door gets hung up on the other door and they do not slide against each other very smoothly. It does not feel in any way like we got our money's worth. They are asking us to pay full price for the door even though there were a lot of installation issues, including one no call no show, and also originally installing the door without the dog door that we had paid for. Also, do ask for an itemized bill when you contract with them. We failed to do so and that is for sure a learning experience. Just be aware of what you want in a slider; a door that slides easily and smoothly or one that has a dog door. Because with Harley Exteriors, you can't have both. read more

The salesman, Robyn, was very good and explained the materials and the advantages to us in an easy to understand presentation. He was a great negotiator and gave us a price that we could afford. One of the windows I ordered was a little complicated in the way I wanted it to look, and Janet, the Project Manager, worked with me for a few days to be sure that the window would turn out exactly the way I wanted it. She went out of her way to get the design right and the style exactly the way I wanted it to look. The staff were very helpful with the scheduling for installation, and were able to work with our very difficult schedule. The installation went perfectly. The crew was extremely helpful with our requests, very clean and neat and considerate of our needs during the process. I can't say enough good things about this company and their professional conduct throughout this whole process. They are wonderful to talk with, helpful and always stayed in contact with us to guide us through the whole process, from ordering to installation. My wife and I had them come out and give us quote on a new roof. It was more then just a quote. It was a full on sales pitch that seemed more like a Timeshare sales pitch or a car dealers pitch. The salesman was very friendly and respectful. He came out twice 90 min. the first time we ran out of time. He spent time going on our roof and into our attic showing us that we had the start of some black mold starting in one corner of our attic but we were in pretty good shape .But we should act now. He said he doesn't use scare tactics then preceded use them. He came back a couple of days later to finish his sales pitch with numbers. The price started out at 74,000.00 dollars then down to 62,000 with discounts and then 52,000.00 with even more discounts and incentives. It reminded me of one of the many Timeshare sales pitches I have sat through. I was waiting for his manager to knock on the door with the high pressure close sales pitch that didn't happen . My wife and I were skeptical when he said this price was good only if we sign a contract today . We don't spend that kind of money without getting another bid or without sleeping on it. So we told him no thank you we have to get a second or third quote before we chose a contractor . First of all the handsome, suave and devonere salesman that comes out is quite good at what he does. He should be ashamed of himself to represent such an abysmal company. From lack of communication, no leadership, no accountability and disrespectful behavior towards the customer is just a few things you can expect from this company. Our nightmare still continues after the so called job was completed. We live in Oak Harbor WA and for the life of me, I don't know why they would take a job so far away from Bothell. So the first delivery came with no communication of materials. Next day the workers and supervisors showed up at 2pm versus 8am. Dropped the dump truck off blocked our driveway for me to use my vehicle and left. Called the office and they said they didn't have enough light to start the job. So that was a Friday and my husband and I had to speak to 4 people before we could get the guarantee that the work would be done over the weekend. Job completed and the mess they left with old shingles and debris was maddening. A few weeks later we realized they had shattered our outside window pane on our skylight. After several calls that went unanswered by a call back my husband finally spoke to a manager and assured they would be out to measure to replace the window. They never showed up. Now today after both my husband and I calling them we still can't talk to a manager as they are always in a meeting or out for a few days. On top of the his we are selling our home and now cannot close until this is completed. They could care less and we are stuck waiting on a phone call back that never happens. Our new windows are amazing!! I'm so glad my husband saw the Harley ad on TV! I was very hesitant about using a big box store- there are too many mixed reviews and many of the product reviews for the specific window products are downright scary. So many of them said- you never get to talk to an actual representative from the manufacturer- you have to go through the big box store sales rep- I didn't like that at all. It didn't take long for David to blow our minds- the quality/technology/durability of the Harley message blows everything else out of the water! We live on salt water- David showed us the fine print on the other warranties stating if you live within a couple miles of salt water the warranty is void- we never would have even realized that. David was happy to quote for the two openings we needed but mentioned there is a bigger cost savings with the more openings you include- especially with a 4 opening minimum. So I asked him- just out of curiosity what it would be to add all of the windows on our main floor- we have 6 huge windows- David explained that the size isn't a big deal- it's easy for them to build any size window. My husband was not happy with me asking about a quote for doing more at once but I couldn't help it. Why wouldn't you want to get more done when the price per window goes down the more you add. It took my husband a little time to think through the bigger investment which we hadn't been planning. We had a second visit from Todd as well. He helped seal the deal for my husband. Todd knows the value Harley delivers and knows how to articulate it against any possible objection like some my husband had. We knew the quality is far superior to anything else we saw- and the warranty- unbelievable- no one offers 100%. But it was still hard for my husband who is very frugal to invest the bigger amount to get more done at once. I just knew it would be great to get the whole floor done at once- why wait. Todd also offered such an incredible discount my husband couldn't say no- so we did it! And now we have the most gorgeous windows in our home- that are safe- solid as a rock- guaranteed for life- we never realized how much our home deserved this or how much we deserved to enjoy the new windows while we are still living in our home. Todd offered us the same similar wonderful discount again for when we are ready to do the final set of the next 12 windows in our home. What big box store can promise you that- The installers, Oleg, Anatoliy & Ivan were amazing! They are 100% pros- they have such experience- such attention to detail- so methodical- took their time to get it done right- one window in particular was crazy big and high off the ground- I didn't know how they would be able to do it- it was harder than the rest but they figured it out. Also- the 8 foot patio slider we had installed- another huge opening- their work was incredible. We are so thankful for their talent, strength and hard work. They were excellent. Kristi was our project manager- she was so great- kind and responsive - helped us understand the process- the dates- all of the coordination. From start to finish everything was easy- everything was organized- everything was professional - everything was first class. I cannot believe the difference with Harley. I know we made a fantastic decision. What a deserving upgrade for our home. Our new windows and doors. It's like a brand new home! I received a callback from a clear agency that didn't know whether Harley Exteriors could provide the services I needed. When I was placed on hold to speak with the "scheduling department" that I was told could answer that question, I was asked my spouse's name in addition to the usual address etc. When I asked why that was relevant, I was told that they could only provide an estimate if they could meet "with the both of us". First, the guy came out to my house to give us a quote on some windows. He said "the illegals are spreading the virus" (about COVID-19) and "masks don't even help. If you wear them outside and you are sick you just make yourself more sick." He had on a mask, but it wasn't covering his nose. He then wrote down a quote for the windows without any explanation like parts, labor, etc. just $14,000+. Then he told me they would do it for $9,000 if we said yes today. What the hell? What kind of quote is that? He then tried to tell us how they don't use high pressure sales or flyers, they just advertise some places. The quote without anything except a number on a piece of legal paper was something I've never seen in my 50 years of life from a professional. Be cautious Addition: I received a reply from this company today 7/15 weeks after this incident. It said it was by Brooke C with a woman's picture. The message on Yelp said they did an investigation and the person who was at my house denied what I reported. My wife was upset that I left out that the person from this company didn't wash his hands while touching things at my house and attempted to pick up my 2 year old, highly inappropriate. Brooke's reply said: "all employees must maintain a social distance of 6 feet while at the home at all times. All employees must wear safety goggles while at the home at all times. All employees must wear protective masks at the home at all times. All employees must wear gloves at the home at all times. All employees must wear booties while inside the home at all times. All employees must wash their hands for at least 20 seconds after touching any surfaces... Since this employee didn't wear booties, gloves, had his mask not covering his nose, didn't ever wash his hands and tried to pick up my child, he clearly didn't follow these company rules. Surprise, he denied these things in their "completing a thorough investigation". Surprise he also denied making comments about "illegals" and such as I reported. This company called me 19 times since they were out at my house before leaving a voicemail last Thursday. They has my email and chose not to leave a voicemail or email but keep calling, sometimes multiple times a day. When I called them today before adding on to this and asked for Brooke, they told me there isn't a Brooke who works for the company. Strange since that is who replied to my Yelp review. I have written many reviews and I am always 100% honest positive or negative. I want people to know what my experiences have been with companies. Take my review for what you want. We had a good experience with the Harley team. We first met them at one of the home shows and were very impressed with the product, which we compared to many of the other exhibitors. Our sales visit was pleasant and while the window replacement industry is a bit too competitive and high-pressure for my taste, we ended up with a very fair deal on an extremely high-quality product. Our windows took a bit longer than expected at the factory, which was disappointing as there were no explanations for the delay.
