Had them fumigate for spiders and ants at the end of April I have tons of ants so they're gonna come out again today between 12 and 4pm. I called him at like 350 cause I got no word and then they're telling me he has to come at five. I'm like I have to work. I have to be somewhere at 5:30 and they're like you wanna reschedule yeah cause I have a whole day that I can just takeoff and hang out and wait for somebody. Thanks for having me spend my money last time and not having any result and having no result because no one came AWESOME read more

I've been through a few exterminator experiences for various reasons (on my landlord's dime, but he's a penny-pincher who always goes the cheapest route). Naturally, not all of them were successful on the first go round. Sooo... I started doing my own research. I found Harbor Pest Control reviews on every platform. I looked up their rating on BBB (very high). I read up on company history. I checked pricing (super reasonable compared to everyone else). I spoke to an employee (super nice). I really went deep. THIS is the company I would recommend, no question. Good luck with your pest issues. read more

I contacted Harbor Pest Control in the morning for a rodent issue and that afternoon Kevin came to assess the situation. He did a thorough search for entry points, even looked in the attic and climbed on the roof to check! He then provided me with treatment options on how to proceed. Not only was he professional but he educated me on my situation. Thank you Kevin and Harbor Pest Control! read more

I want to thank Jesus and Harbor Pest Control for their continued wonderful service. The scheduling process is easy and you get to talk to a real person, not a machine or AI when you call. Jesus came out today and took the time to diagnose the issue and develop an immediate response for me. Jesus explained the chemical treatment and took great care to protect my property. He went above and beyond to help resolve my concerns and provided me with first class service. I would recommend them to anyone needing pest control and a special thanks to Jesus for taking such good care of me. read more

The onsite guys were really good to go, but Gina was an absolute train wreck, rude kept interrupting me. Too lazy to send a confirmation E-mail. A couple of snarky remarks to boot. I almost cancelled, but the guys are squared away and I know she is most likely just a Min wage worker and not representative of the entire company. I called her back and cancelled, she was just way too out of line. read more

This is the best pest control company ever! The employees are amazing! Our service person takes his time to explain what he is doing and they stand by their work! read more

Great Service, great team! Had to have out house tented for the first time and the crew from Harbor Pest were absolutely amazing. Customer service is lost at a lot of companies, but not here. We have a lot of plants my wife was worried that she would lose during the tenting and everyone involved was patient and put in the extra effort to make sure as many plants survived as possible. They even made an extra trip with the crew that were doing the work to speak with her and allay some of her fears. I would not hesitate to use them again...hopefully not for a long time Very happy with the whole process! Great job everyone! read more

Found stucco damage with termite frass and HOA sent Charles from this company to inspect. The exterior damage is not visible from a standing position. I asked if he was going to even take a look at it... which would have involved lying on the ground because the damage was at the bottom of the stucco just above the ground. He replied, "We don't do that. We don't lay down." Can't say anything about their treatment services, because clearly I will not be hiring a company that won't do a thorough inspection. read more

There are many choices for locally owned service companies but we have had complete success hiring Harbor Pest Control for our properties. Stay away from this company!!! Please read the fine print before signing. They are not responsible for any damages done to your property. They recently serviced my grandmothers house and broke more than 25 roof tiles, contacted the company and the response we received was that they don't hold liable for any damages done by any of their team members. Now repairing the roof will cost more than the service we requested. Very disappointed. read more

We have used Harbor Pest Control since 2009, and we have always been pleased with the quality and effectiveness of their service. They are not the cheapest, but they are 100% professionals who keep our home bug and termite free. They get the job done! PERIOD! Don't be fooled, misled and ripped off by the cheap prices offered by other exterminators. With exterminators, it's all about the service and the results. read more

We have used Harbour Pest Control for over a decade and Juan takes care of our yard and home and we couldn't be happier! Juan explains everything and is so knowledgeable and he goes above and beyond in his service - he fixed our screens around the base of the house so critters cannot get in, he keeps our dogs and family safe, by determining the best products for our needs. They are super reasonable in pricing, especially for what you get and the best pest control in San Diego! read more

Minus two stars because they continue to send me fake bills for $210. I never signed up for a control service. I can see someone being fooled by these "bills" & paying them. The bill I am looking at it now says that this is my last chance to renew. I hope that's true and they stop sending me fake bills! Consider yourself warned that this company uses tricks to extract more money. read more

My home has been serviced by Harbor Pest Control on a contract for a long long time. It finally got to a point where tenting was inevitable, which happens sooner or later. They gave me an excellent service at a really great price. They showed up when they were supposed to and were done at the appropriate time. Great service. Wonderful company. read more

we have used Harbor Pest for 10+ years and have always been satisfied. a few years ago we had a termite inspection by them and purchased an annual inspection/treatment plan. The annual plan ensures we stay ahead of critters, gives us peace of mind and is a fantastic value. Guillermo does our inspections/treatments. He was here yesterday and as always, he made phenomenal effort. He checked and treated where we suspected a problem and then thoroughly checked, identified, and treated some other areas we thought were ok (he showed and explained to us what he saw, why it was a concern, and why treatment was needed). Guillermo is professional, patient, and highly knowledgeable. We appreciate him and all the Harbor Pest team. Becky in the office is a great communicator and always fun to talk to! read more

Late this summer I found myself in the most epic ant battle of my adult life! When I finally had tried everything I read on the internet and available from the store, I could no longer stand those little trails of insects streaming through my house. I called the expert staff of Harbor Pest to help me. Their tech John came out the next day and treated the interior and exterior of my home, focusing on the spots where I could see they had entered. I am not kidding THAT NIGHT the ants stopped. And I never have seen one since! I honestly still can't believe it. My only issue was that I hadn't called sooner. I will not hesitate to call Harbor again for any pest needs. If you're thinking about it, I urge you, call them- leave the exterminating to the professionals! read more

Really wanted to like his company because they came so highly reviewed on next door app. But I have had them come 3 times now. The first time I was not home but the second I was and the gentleman that sprayed my house did not brush under my eves like pest control companies are supposed to do and he only sprayed he floor under my table. So, I asked them to come back because they guarantee their spraying against pest if they come back. They came back 2 weeks later and this gentlemen sprayed my table and did a great job spraying it but brushed only half my house leaving a pest still living under my eves. I have cameras so I can see if they go around my whole house. But yet , still only a mediocre job done. See pic of my new house mate. read more

Just spoke with Becky over the phone and she was so genuine and nice. She helped me with everything I needed and sounded like she was more than happy to do so. After having a few other companies in the area tell me there was no fix to my problem and being rude non the less, Becky offered a solution without hesitation. I will be doing all future business with this company. I can't say thank you enough! read more

I had a horrible black ant invasion in my town house this summer. They were everywhere, even the bed and bathroom. My poor cat couldn't even eat his meal in peace. Others in my complex had used Harbor Pest Control for ants so I called them. They were very accommodating, came last Friday, sprayed thoroughly outside and applied some gel stuff in strategic places inside. Polite, fast and effective. Haven't seen an ant since! Yay! I thought their price was reasonable and it came with a 30-day warranty. read more

I recommend you stay away from this service. The process and the customer servise is all sounds good in the beginning, the actual work is as bad as you can get. Big waste of time, waste of family time, money and lots of efforts. At the end, you will end up calling someone else to get REAL termite and pest treatment in less than 2 months. read more

Honest dependable great service really good fumigators, always on time, professional, good attitude, good company

This review is based solely on the consultation and will update if/when I have service. I thought it was worth noting for the yelp community that I had two other consults with other companies. This was the only company, of the three, that actually was trying to make sure I actually needed service in the first place. It was explained that not only termites swarm on hot days, but also flying ants, and other insects. I was told it sounded like I had flying ants and not swarming termites (which have red heads with wings). Our plan is to wait for the next time I see a swarmer, take a picture and text it to the inspector. He will then let me know what he thinks. I should also mention that their quote was the lowest of all three companies if I do end up needing service! read more

Mike was great! We called 3 companies to tent our 4 unit condo complex for termites. Harbor was most reasonable. The communication between everyone was just great! Everything ran so smoothly. Not one glitch with the exchanging of all the keys. They had the tent off the house by 9am on the 3rd day of fumigation. I am so happy with the way things turned out. Mike is so friendly and organized. Thanks Mike and to all the guys who did the physical work on the condos. Wendy Simon read more

I've used them for years because the convenience of a warranty. $220 per year to renew. We only get spot treatments of only evidence of termites. They never bothered to re-tent my home even if there was a bigger problem with the unseen termite infestation. It got worst over the years. In which why I stopped using them. I DO NOT recommend getting there warranty. They will care the first time around to treat your home but after that forget it. They never cared to treat the problem if it meant a re tent. Just a spot treatment. I do not recommend. read more

Had a major ant problem once the warm weather hit this summer. They sent Shawn out right away, he explained my options, zapped those buggers all around the perimeter of the house and no more ants! Harbors price was more reasonable than all the other pest companies I got a quote from as well. Recommend! read more

I was contacted in yelp by harbor pest and they told a half truth: They offered me the reduced premium of $220 for this year ONLY. To be increased next year and so on and so forth. BAD investment. Also, five years ago they detected termite activity in a portion of the house. Like another yelper post, they only treated the area locally and did not re-tent. Go elsewhere. read more

I wasn't too pleased with Harbor Pest Control. The ants and spiders were gone for a month and a half. I called to cancel my service and the woman who answered the phone wasn't the least bit concerned as to why they were losing my business. After I provided input regarding the service, it was obvious she didn't care. I don't know if the company is aware that this is the type of employee they have, but I'm sure they would expect more from their staff. read more

Recently had our house treated for both types of termites. Yes I didn't initially realize there are different treatments. Had Harbor Pest Control come out for an inspection. I had a rat problem in 2014 and Kevin came out and did an excellent job excluding the rats and setting traps. Problem solved quickly and at a fair price. Fast forward to 2021 and one of the crawl space doors had become loose and I had a rat again. The crawl space door had been damaged during some plumbing work, so no fault of Harbor Pest control and their excellent workmanship. Juan came out today and did a thorough job of checking all the possible openings that a rat may be coming in the house. Even though it was an inspection only visit, he was kind enough to spend a little extra time working on the door to see if there was a way to fix it on my own. I am grateful for the assistance that he gave when he really didn't have to. Juan was caring and thorough. I will definitely use Harbor Pest Control in the future read more

We received terrific service from Harbor Pest Control! Once scheduling the appointment, we received a reminder from the company one day prior and was told Shawn would be our technician. On the day of, Shawn called and gave us an approximate time he would be at our home since he had a call scheduled before ours. When he was on his way to our home, he called again! Once the inspection was complete Shawn made sure we addressed only what was necessary, nothing extra. This ended us saving money as we didn't pay for services not needed.
