I am not happy with this business at all. The price is too much for just thinking you're going to spray the exterior of a condo and that is it. I've only had one employee that came and did a thorough job. All others skip the services needed inside the home which is the main reason for getting pest control services. The last time they came, they sprayed the outside of the home only. Of course I was upset. When I told them about it, they said they would only charge me half of the fee. We've been with Green Flash since the beginning, but the last 2-3 years something has definitely changed. We used to have the same tech service our home who was very thorough, effective and had pride in his work. Now we have random techs show up who aren't even knocking down the visible webs. We had a web on the corner of our front door and they left it there. If they don't bother with the most obvious cobwebs, they aren't effectively spraying or managing our property. They've had to return to repeat spray numerous times. They sent a manager out in Nov who did a really thorough job and said he would pass on his notes to the next tech who comes out, but it doesn't seem like that happened. read more

We got fumigation quotes from five different companies and as promised by the sales rep, Seth, they were the lowest cost. Extra work was required due to pea gravel along the foundation on the side of the house (must be removed down to the dirt for tenting) but they included this in their cost and were the only company to do so. There is a fee to insure against broken roof tiles but we paid that and so while there were quite a few broken tiles, they were replaced or repaired promptly with no fuss. The company did everything they promised to do and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again when service is needed. read more

Been using Green Flash for years. They were really great. We have ants and spiders in our toddler and infant rooms and their bathroom. I called to get a respray and indoor spray. Indoor spray you have to leave the house with little ones for four hours. I called told them I have an infant and toddler and need indoor spray for ants and spiders in their rooms. They scheduled us two weeks out!!! Then give us a window from 3-5 the day before. The last window. I can't leave the house for four hours with an infant and toddler and gone until 9pm!! I called and the lady was no help. She said she would "make a note". Didn't offer to reschedule for a morning time another day, nothing! So they don't show up! The tech calls me at 6pm to say basically "you still want me to come". No apology, no notice he was going to be late. Nothing. I'll definitely be canceling and take my service somewhere else. It's one thing to run a business and have policy in place. It's another all together to just flat out not care at all about your customers. Would not spend my money here. If your that busy, hire a summer time tech and treat your customers right. Don't make them wait two weeks with spiders and ants in their baby and toddlers rooms. Poor business poor attitude. I had already lined up services from 2 other companies, but Doug from Green Flash offered to talk me through the issues I was having and offered to come review the situation as part of their free consultation anyway. Out of the three companies, Doug was the only one that looked under the sink, got on the roof, identified specific garage door flushing, grate replacement and other rat exclusion techniques that he actually came prepared to do. I'm updating my original review based on a number of factors. First and foremost, we have been using them for almost a year now. In all fairness, the ant problem inside our home is definitely resolved. Unfortunately, there are a number of other pests I've found inside the home that are NOT OK for the price we are paying for their service. We complained about this and they came and sprayed inside our home. When they came to spray people and dogs were present and I felt like that was a bit odd, but the "technician" explained to me that as long as the spray had time to dry it would be safe for the dogs. After spraying inside the home, we still found a large number or spider webs and baby spiders in various areas of the house as well as a few roaches. When they come to your house to spray, they are there for a maximum of 10 minutes, sometimes less, and they charge you $120 for 10 minutes worth of work, which just seems excessive to me. They also knock down spider webs, but most of the time they miss quite a few of them. Lastly, when we first signed up, we had gophers in our front yard. They offered to give us a complimentary treatment. It worked for a few weeks, but then the pesky rascals came back and invaded our entire front and back yard. The technicians at Green Flash never asked us if we wanted additional gopher treatments or offered to help us with the situation. They should pay more attention to the conditions at the properties they are treating and offer solutions to blatantly obvious invasions. I decided to cancel their service, and this is the response I received: "Good morning. Your account has been closed. You do owe $110 for the service on August 29th." Enough said. read more

To be clear: I did not use this business. I asked Green Flash Pest and Termite to come out to my house to do a termite inspection and quote me for any termite removal. The reason I didn't use them was because I had just purchased the home and an initial inspection had been done by another company for the bank's home inspection, and Green Flash's inspector advised me to go through them to make any repairs. That being said, Eric, the termite inspector from Green Flash, was helpful in advising me what to do and how much I should expect to pay for the repairs to the house and termite mitigation. This information and valuation was well below what was suggested by the bank's termite inspection company and another large chain termite inspection company, Terminix, that I called out to do an evaluation as well. This allowed me to save several thousands of dollars off the suggested work that Terminix recommended: whole house fumigation. I was also able to ask the bank hired termite company to reduce the cost of termite-related repairs and saved myself hundreds of dollars. I am grateful for the advice, information, and money saved, Eric provided and am glad that I called Green Flash. I would go back to them for any future pest problems I have (gophers). read more

Eddie provided our home termite inspection in July 2023. He came promptly. He spent about 2 hours going through entire house. We had an old treated termite issue and dry-rot that we wanted to be sure that are identified and eliminated before we reframe the large section of the interior studs framing and exterior stucco. He pointed out all the bad wood sections that needs to be removed and replaced. He gave us pointer of where to buy 1 gallon of pre-treatment for the new wood to be use in the framing. We bought it independently from amazon and used it. We had planned to tent and fumigate the whole house but his advice was the house didn't needed it. It made sense that Greenflash Pest & Termite have been in business a long time and wanted to stay in business the next few decades. I appreciated the objective opinion at the cost of near term business. We hope to never ever have to do termite remediation in the future but at least, we know where to go if we have any pests issues. read more

Honestly, we are so grateful for Mike Vandervoort at Green Flash! a few months ago we had a bad rat problem and he came out repeatedly and tried different things each time until we got them. Then, most recently the mice came. In addition to setting traps, he validated my horror at seeing mice IN MY BEDROOM and assured me would would get them out. He came by today to check to see if we had any mice in traps, got one, took it out, left. Then 15 minutes after he left, another got caught in trap under stove and i let him know and he turned right around and came back to get it for us. Eddie is an excellent technician! We thought we saw evidence of termites so we called, Eddie came out and within two minutes told me the droppings we saw were from crickets and the soft wood at the same spot was from dry rot. He did an inspection of the wood trim, found one spot that was hollow and spot treated it immediately. We didn't have to call and schedule a separate treatment appointment and spend more money. He did some caulking on the front porch to protect the wood from more water damage, then painted over everything he had worked on with trim paint we had. Really above and beyond! Great service provided by Nathan. I called for a free inspection because we saw rodent dropping right in front of my house backdoor. I was very concerned that we have a big rodent problem on our hand because this is the first time we saw rodent droppings so close the house and our backyard is next to a natural preserve, home to a lot of wildings (e.g. rabbits, gophers, snakes). Scheduling was a breeze and they send you a text reminder the day before, which is always a good idea. Nathan came in the time slot that was scheduled, examined the exterior of the property and explained as he went along... Nathan's diagnosis was very assuring... explained their service (what it does and doesn't do) and didn't try to take advantage of my anxiety with any unnecessary upsells (one of the reasons that I booked them).
