Had our house fumigated (for termites) this past week. Out of the different exterminators that gave us estimates, Green Flash was the most reasonable. From the start, we had very good communication with the office staff (thank you Wendy) and they answered every question in a very professional way. Once it was determined that we had termites and needed to fumigate, we opted to have our house tented. We were given lots of special bags with detailed instructions on how to pack items safely. We then moved into a hotel for a couple of days and had the technicians tent our house. It's a nervous feeling leaving our house to strangers but they did a great job. They left a note telling us when we could safely return. We recommend Green Flash if you are looking for an extermination company. Good communication and very professional. read more

Not happy with the service. Not only did they change the window the day before from the one we were originally told which is insanely inconvenient because we have a toddler who needed to be out of the house for four hours. We had to have them come back because they said if we see an ant in 30 days they come back so they did and there is still ants all over our back yard. We get sprayed once a year every summer and have never had this issue. We tried this company this time cause someone from work recommended it cause she knows someone who works there and safe to say we will be switching back. I gave them a five star on the other review, but that Green Flash Pest Control page is locked up. Can't get to it. Had to start a new one. I didn't have a review for the first time (when they didn't go away at all) because they were coming back to make good. I wanted to give them a chance. The second time got the five star review (because went away for a few days). First time was meh, I called them immediately and said the ants were back. The woman on the phone said I'd have to give them more time. Then they scheduled me when my "warrantee" was nearly up. There were ants coming in from everywhere...they just sprayed. They didn't track the ants back to their nests. A few days after the second time, I called and the woman who answered the phone, who isn't pleasant (the kind of place you really don't want to call back) said, This was a one time thing, this wasn't an ongoing contract! What! I told her it never took. She told me it was the heat. When I first called, she said, It's because of the heat, we'll take care of those ants. Well, it didn't take. This photo is the ants on my counter three days after they sprayed twice. I sprayed them with organic olive oil pan spray to kill them on the spot. I got the Green Flash organic spray service twice. They were done in around 18, maybe 20 minutes. My house has a large footprint and several terrains. I asked the first guy what kind of ants they were, he said they were pavement ants. Well, I looked it up, pavement ants are most active at night. All my attacks are during the day. The third time I called, she was so nasty, I asked her to have the manager call me. Never a call back. I'd told her I had given them five stars, and if they wanted to keep that rating they needed to make good. Then, their review page was down. Does Yelp do this kind of thing when a bad review is coming? That's not right. It seems as though they know their organic product does not work. I am calling Visa and telling them to get back my money. Did not work! At all! All this took about a bit more than a week. It would have taken less time if she would have put it the repeat order sooner, she said it took four days to see if it worked. I've never heard that from the other ant company - it starts to work immediately. Four days? The first guy didn't listen too well. I asked him to call me and not come up the stairs until I came out. I was wrangling the dogs into the bedroom, so it took a minute. Then he banged on the kitchen window (upstairs). I went out and he said he called and he was done! I had frogs upstairs on the deck, and'd I told him to wait for a reason. Well two of my frogs who must have gotten hit with the stuff under the floor boards. They never came back. They've lived here for three years and have never gone away, even with the organic ant service from somewhere else. That company was slammed and couldn't come soon enough. I should have waited, thinking one exterminator is like another is not a sure bet, at all. Apparently they have two guys working Ramona and surrounding areas (the place is in Vista). So, they go around your house as quickly as possible. I have cameras all around the house and watched afterward (I wish you could post movies here), they missed a lot and didn't really look around for any ant nests. No, don't call them. Just keep looking for somewhere else. Their organic spray doesn't even have the smell of peppermint or anything. Doesn't work. Don't waste your time. Don't waste your money. I found this organic boric acid on Amazon, harmless and organic. Found the ant nest - the ants were going there straight from the house. Didn't take much effort to find it - and put a teaspoon in. And that was that - no more ants. I took care of the before the weather started cooling off. BOOM! All gone. Nice guys, but their organic spray and methods didn't work...twice. I was going to give them two stars for effort, but the woman in the office - her attitude steered me away from that. The organic product doesn't seem to work, and that is a big issue. read more

Eric did a thorough job treating our house against black spiders & ants for a reasonable fee. After the inside of our house was treated, we locked the house and left the recommended 1-2 hours. I cannot recommend John Tanner at GreenFlash pest control enough. Such a nice guy & very thorough & informative in everything he was saying. Such an honest, HONEST company. We had called Terminex recently because we thought we saw termites & ants going into our walls. Terminex looked at our video & right away confirmed it was termites. Even told us we had mice & rats issues in our attic, which was odd because many people went up there recently for other jobs & never said anything. Nor have we ever seen any droppings or ever hear anything running around upstairs. So we called several other companies to come for 2nd opinions. John Tanner was one of the first & comes in and looks at the 2 videos I had. Right away confirms it's ants & ants with wings. Not termites. But to make sure, he went into our attic & all around the house to do a thorough examination. In the end, no signs of termites & no mice or rats!! He even went above & beyond to give me a couple of suggestions about other things around the house to save me $$ & headaches in the future. Thank you GreenFlash for being such an honest company. We have been using Green Flash with an annual warranty for a number of years, which is a necessity living at the beach. All staff members are friendly, helpful, and informative from the office staff to the technicians. We've talked with office staff members Wendy, Amy, and Steve who can answer any question or find the information for you. Our technicians this year Eddie and Kyler were great as all of the workers have been over the years. Eddie is friendly and personable, worked quickly on our 3 units assessing all the wood and boards on the property. He showed us each area that needs repaired and said a technician would be coming within the next week or 2 to make the repairs. The office staff scheduled an appointment for repairs for 6 days later. Kyler arrived on time and began the repairs immediately. He's friendly and personable, likes his job and takes pride in his work. He informed us of each treatment and fascia replacement. He does excellent meticulous work, repairs & paints all the boards in a fast and efficient manner, cleans up everything, and informs us what he's going to do before and shows us the areas when he's done. A friend of mine recommended Green Flash when she had bedbugs because they use heat to kill the bugs. So the way Green Flash deals with extermination is the most effective and the safest. Mike came and checked my house for bedbugs. He was extremely professional and thorough. He was also extremely honest and told me there were no signs of bedbugs. I appreciated that he did not try to talk me into something I don't need. I found out from my dermatologist that I have a rash and hives and it is not bites at all, so I appreciate the honesty of this company and I greatly appreciate the integrity that Mike showed. Had a free termite inspection by Eddie Gomez. He was very thorough and efficient. Top notch service and friendly with termite service recommended in my attic and outside eves. Dave arrived on time also very friendly and efficient. He worked the attic fogging for termites and then did serious checking & service outside. I live in an attached condo so they can't perform tenting. But Dave worked relentlessly on my attached unit inside and out. Patio boards were found to be totally infected. Sad to update this review. We have decided to discontinue the service with Green Flash. We have been with them for more than five years and really liked their service in the first few years. Not sure what happened, but after reaching out with an inquiry 10 days ago, we didn't hear back from them, even after follow-ups. Had a very bad experience with their termite service. On the day of my fumigation, they emailed me and did not try to call or text me at all to let me know that my fumigation was delayed by a day and simply expected me to find housing for an additional day. Also because the next morning was a weekend, they said they didnt have anyone to contact to get any additional status on what was going on. Lastly, i found out that green flash doesnt even do the fumigation and simply contracts out to someone else who doesnt care much about qualify of work. The fumigators left half my cabinets open and wrappings throughout my house. My recommendation is to go with another termite company that actually does their own work and also has better communication with their customers read more

We termite tented 2 houses this year; this was such a better experience than the other house. Everyone was nice when you spoke to them and they went above and beyond. I did not purchase tile insurance and don't think they broke any. The only reason, I know this is bc our roof was pressure washed after and they did not report any broken tiles. I am very happy with the service we received from Greenflash. My husband And I just moved to a half acre in the foothills of Vista and we we're not aware of the gopher issues in this area. After a few months of living here we noticed a bunch of mounds of dirt forming all over our property. We just spent a ton of money on landscaping and they were ruining our yard. We tried catching them ourselves, I watched numerous YouTube videos and purchased several different traps. We didn't catch anything. Mike came out and gave us a consultation and answered all of my questions and educated me about gophers. He set a trap and in the morning there was a gopher!! He set another one and hours later he caught another gopher! We are so thankful to have this issue resolved so that our newly planted fruit trees don't get destroyed. Our dog has also been digging to try to find them so we are happy we won't be finding any "gifts". The traps they set are very discrete and it turns yellow so you know you have a gopher. I'm pretty bummed to be writing this, but I'm not quite sure what else to do. We've used Green Flash since 2017, and at that time, nothing could be better. Service was thorough, friendly, and efficient. As time went on, and their business grew, the customer service and quality started on a slow decline. Their technicians would come out, but skip things they were supposed to do, or only do "main" areas, instead of entire areas. Often, this would lead to needing a revisit. At this point, as I schedule, wait, and have my maintenance provided, I'm only getting a fraction of what I'm paying for, and then being brushed off by their customer service. Most recently, I needed a respray and bait (the technician who came out for my quarterly service took a seat in my backyard and didn't provide much of anything aside from a walk around my home-all on camera, by the way) and when the technicians came out to redo, they only checked 3 of my backyard bait stations-not completely around the property where they are (again-cameras) and didn't spray inside or out, although that was requested, scheduled, and confirmed by their CS Agent, Amy. I reached out to Amy later that day to request that somebody come back out to do the re-spray, to which she replied, "I think that spider got away from him. We did take care of spiders and Webstered as well. Amy" When I told her that wasn't the case and that I was home the entire visit/had everything on camera as well, she said, "Oh okay, I will send someone back out to take care of the spiders for you. Amy" That was July 25th, and I haven't seen or heard from anyone since. At this point, I've sent one last request to see if/when we've been put on the schedule, but I think this will be the last time I try. Like most service related businesses, pest control companies are a dime a dozen, and while we prefer to stay loyal and give the benefit of the doubt, blatantly omitting services that are requested and being paid for is just bad business. read more

I recently had an issue with one technician not doing a great job during a service and when I called not only they sent 2 people right away to redo the service and discuss with me what I needed but they also changed my technician to Robert who is amazing.
