Brandon with Plateau is the BEST. He has helped us eliminate a gopher infestation that has been ongoing for over 5 years. Well run operation! Everyone was friendly, prompt, informative and their quote was by far the best. Ours was a very big job with a fumigation for a 6000 sq foot home. Nothing was damaged, the workers were careful and organized. We were a bit apprehensive of the possibility of plants being damaged but they were so very cautious and caring. This company was recommended by the Realtor selling the home I purchased two years ago. Their estimate was competitive and their subcontractor that performed the actual termite fumigation was also a real pro. They tented my Escondido home with quality built and maintained tent sections. This is important. The other big name pest control company that I used a year earlier on another Escondido home used a less than reputable fumigation subcontractor with holes and leaking patches everywhere in the tent material. That fumigation job most likely was not as effective as the fumigation job by Plateau. Two years have passed and have not seen any termites in my attic or surrounding home structure. I NEVER thought that I'd ever have such a GREAT pest control consultation! I am VERY IMPRESSED so far. I submitted for a quote exactly a year ago. Terry responded immediately but I got busy and did not respond. I finally responded a year later. The next day Sam sends me a text asking if I was still interested in termite inspection. I said yes and we scheduled a date and time. It was so nice and convenient that I could just text Sam with any questions I had leading up to my appointment. I hate calling over the phone. I have 3 kids and they are noisy in the background. The day of my appointment I get a text from Terry saying that there was a cancellation and he could come earlier. He communicated with me and let me know eta and when he was 20 mins away. He arrived and was nice and friendly. I was getting ready to let him in my house and a part of me had anxiety about asking him to remove his shoes or use shoe covers. So BONUS points here. Terry brought his own shoe covers!!!! I was so shocked and amazed by the consideration. I an Asian American and wearing shoes in the house is like a huge no no. Needless to say I was sold at that point. Terry inspected my master bath where the termites were. He was very knowledgeable and explained about the different termites. Treatments for the different termites. I then took him outside to the backyard. I was like cool so will I get emailed an estimate. He was like no, I can give you an estimate right now. The price he gave me was very fair considering the one other estimate I got was outrageous. I had another estimate scheduled for the beginning of next week and ended canceling it. The price he quoted me to fumigate I felt was fair and I was really sold at that point. I called my husband immediately to tell him we are canceling the other appointment and going with this company. I told my husband how I felt Terry was personable, honest and considerate. The fact that Terry brought shoe covers really left a great impression on me and his consideration for his clients home. Also, I love to be able to support a small family owned business. Terry got the termite inspection report over with the estimate and work order.
