If I could give 20 stars, I would. We had 2 small birds fly in through the front door into the house that we couldn't get back out. We had someone else come out and they insisted on doing an entire inspection, recommended thousands of dollars of other work not related to getting the birds out, AND they wouldn't get the birds out the same day. Called Pacific Coast Animal Control at 6pm, they came 45mins later, and got the birds out in under 5 mins. They also charged 87% less than the other quote we got. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! Let me break my story down. I called 25 pest control places at 9pm on a Saturday night... no one... not 1 person called me back nor did they have an emergency contact. My emergency was that after spending the whole day out at an Earth Day event, I came home to my house smelling like death. The rancid smell was coming from my oven,/ wall area. I was hesitant to call so late to a pest control, but the smell of death was too much for my family. Wow, responsive, reasonable and a great deal. We called for dead skunk removal from under some wooden stairs on a Sunday at noon...by 3:00pm the issue was resolved; and it was not an easy job. The stairs are well built exterior stairs leading up a steep hill to the house; it was a challenge to get them "opened up" without destroying them and Chris did an outstanding job. Chris is fantastic at his work! I had been feeding one feral cat....turned into 11 including 6 kittens over the months...UGH! Since there were kittens too, I could not stop for fear of them starving. Chris, HUMANELY trapped them (being quite creative) and took them to the Humane Society. Only have two more kittens to go. My fault that I broke down and put food into the traps so we also got two skunks. Since the kittens are so lightweight that they do not always trip the pressure plate in the traps, Chris is going to make a feather hanging thingie so that they jump around in the traps and trip the plate. Chris has been here almost every day for a week. It is a long drive from Carlsbad for him but he always shows up enthusiastic and ready to work. One morning he came right after catching a coyote. In a few days he is going to put up a lot of snake netting somewhere...he is truly diversified. I am going to have him put special netting around my BBQ rooom ceiling because that is where the cats live. Also, he said it is perfect for possums and, since I've seen possum tracks in months past, this will also stop them from living here. Heck, I'm in the busy city and have learned through Chris that all kinds of unwelcome 'wild life' visit my yard after dark. I highly recommend this company and Chris is awesome! Our 15-year old happened upon a rattlesnake in our driveway at 9pm at night while taking out the trash. Even though (eventually after over 20 minutes of prying her off the roof of one of the cars to safety) everyone was safe, we were concerned about the following morning not knowing where the snake was and suspecting he had crawled under one of the cars. PCAC (Chris) was the only company we called that was willing and able to come out to help right away. His charges are very reasonable and he explained them in detail before we hung up the phone. He was specific about how long it would take to get to our house and he was very prompt. He found the snake had crawled into the wheel well of the car she had jumped on. He found it as soon as he pulled up and removed it quickly without incident. We had a lot of questions and he had all the answers. Very helpful and informative.
