We recently hired CaliCo to install bird netting to prevent mud swallows from nesting around our home, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We received several comparable bids, but what ultimately set CaliCo apart was their exceptional customer service. From the very beginning, they took the time to thoroughly educate us about the bird netting product, the installation process, the swallows' nesting habits, and what we could realistically expect moving forward. I had countless questions, and they were incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and responsive throughout the entire process. Every message was answered promptly, and communication was excellent from start to finish. The installation itself was done with an impressive level of care and attention to detail. The crew was meticulous about cleanup, making sure no debris or hardware pieces were left behind, which was especially important to us because we have both a young child and a dog. They even went above and beyond by offering to paint an area where some hardware was visible and touched up a small section of stucco so everything blended seamlessly. For a project that isn't necessarily something you're excited to spend money on, it makes a huge difference to work with a company that makes you feel confident and cared for every step of the way. CaliCo did exactly that. We've also used them for ant control both before and after this project and have had great results each time. Their professionalism, expertise, responsiveness, and genuine commitment to customer satisfaction have made them our go-to pest control company. We highly recommend CaliCo to anyone looking for pest control services or bird exclusion work. They truly went above and beyond. read more

After putting in a message for pest control companies to message us for inspection and quote Calico was unable to provide availability and instead sair "we're booked at this time", it would be beneficial for the company respond in a way that let a potential customer know that their business was valued and desired. Apparently the company is "booked at this time" with no availability for quotes in the foreseeable future. Update: After I posted an initial 3 star review providing feedback the company began unsolicited calls to my mother pushing her to change the review. I/we don't appreciate the unsolicited calls and pressure to change a review; I don't think I would pursue this company in the future. read more

If I could give this business 6/5 stars I would. A real person answered my phone call, on a Saturday afternoon no less... And the nice man kindly answered some of my questions about a termite swarm I am currently dealing with. Thank you very much to this business for your kindness and helpful information. read more

I reached out on Thursday night about a suspected rodent issue in my walls and I received a reply within a couple minutes from Eric. Eric was able to schedule me right away for a next day inspection (free). Noah came Fri morning to inspect and as suspected, we had mice in the walls! Noah explained and showed us everything and walked through the different options without trying to sell us on anything. They were even able to move things around so that they could come back on Monday to rodent proof our house and sanitize inside the wall. Noah and the team that came did a great job and worked quickly. From start to finish they were wonderful. The communication and price can't be beat. We really appreciated the fast response from the time we reached out to the time we were able to get an inspection and fix in as well. If you are looking for service, I highly recommend this company! read more

I cannot say enough great things about Eric and Noah at CaliCo Pest Solutions. We recently had a situation with a current tenant reporting cockroach sightings in and around the house, and I wanted to handle it quickly and thoroughly. Eric spent a long time on the phone with me asking detailed questions to truly evaluate the situation before recommending treatment. He is incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and thoughtful in his approach. I never felt rushed -- like I did when I called the bigger named pest control company beforehand. He genuinely wanted to understand the full scope of what was going on. Even better, he was able to schedule someone to come out first thing the very next morning. Noah came out to the property and was equally impressive. He walked the entire site with me, educating me on where roaches like to live and what conditions attract them. He went above and beyond in treating the property, especially understanding the sensitivity of our specific tenant situation. His thoroughness and professionalism gave me complete confidence that the issue was being handled properly. If you're looking for a responsive, knowledgeable, and truly customer-focused pest control company, I highly recommend CaliCo Pest Solutions. Five stars all the way! read more

Noah took the time to explain the ant problem and the treatment they offer works and the cost is reasonable.

When I realized we had rats in our California room ceiling, I had this company to inspect and quote a price. Noah was absolutely a fountain of information, explaining ingress, egress and the best ways to remove and block the critters. His boss, Eric, was equally knowledgeable and very flexible in scheduling. I could not have expected or received more for a very reasonable fee, in my opinion. read more

Grateful for this company--fantastic customer service (which is hard to come by nowadays) and fast turnaround! We literally called in few hours ago today because we were just tired of this ant issue and wanted it to get resolved as quickly as possible. Did a search on Yelp for ants termination with good rating and reviews then found CaliCo and so glad we did! Eric answered the phone, super professional and was able to get us scheduled within next day however, he mentioned that today may open up and will call back if there's any open availability. Wasn't long and sure enough called us back to get service in the next 30 to 45 minutes. They were there even before that--Ed showed up, knowledgeable and friendly. The service was affordable and included a 30 day warranty but most importantly, customer service is on point! Will be recommending to all friends and returning as a loyal client!! I can't say enough great things about CaliCo Pest Solutions! I called several pest companies this morning, and they were the only ones to promptly answer my call. Within just a few hours, Noah arrived at our rental property in Carlsbad. The service was thorough, knowledgeable, and incredibly respectful of everyone's time and space. Eric was also responsive and helpful throughout the coordination process. Highly recommend Calico Pest Solutions -- they are so knowledgeable, reliable and reasonably priced!

Few weeks ago I woke up to a pile of dirt in my grass (backyard). Upon inspection I saw a cute little gopher peaking at me as it's creating a condo under my garden. I tried to capture and release the humane way but it was impossible! So after day 3 and several holes in the back yard, I began contacting local companies to see who can come out. Left many messages and Eric of Cali Co pest solutions was the ONLY one that returned my call. He heard me out and made arrangements to come over on the same day, late afternoon. He arrived and took an assessment of the situation, brought all the tools needed and got to work. He was in the backyard for about 15 minutes. We made arrangements for follow ups for the following 2 weeks. Alex (Alejandro) came the following two weeks and was equally knowledgeable, very sweet and professional as Eric. Day after first install, I noticed a little hole but no more rodent condominium built after that. I did let Eric know that I don't want to see the dead gopher and he had related that information to Alex. I love good communication! If you're looking for a pest solutions business, don't waste your time calling other companies. Eric and Alex know what they're doing, are very sweet and very professional. Their prices are reasonable as well. If I ever have any pest issues, this is the only company I will use. I loved the great communication and confirmation of appointments along with texts from Alex when he was on his way. read more

Amazing service and customer service with Eric and Edward! We got a quote for ant and spider extermination within an hour of the request, followed by a quick phone call, and a technician at our house by 2 pm the same day. Eric quickly replied and provided all the information (pricing, plans, discounts) we needed upfront, showing a lot of transparency. Edward is a great technician to work with. He explained the entire process and offered his recommendation before starting, which gave a good idea of how the treatments would work going forward. They are a small company so they pay more attention to detail and care more about the customer's experience. read more

As a realtor and investor in San Diego, I rely on dependable vendors to keep my properties in top shape. I recently needed pest control for one of my rentals and decided to try a new company. Within 10 minutes of submitting my request, Eric from Calico Pest Solutions reached out. Whether he's just a great salesperson or simply incredibly detail-oriented, Eric impressed me by thoroughly answering all my questions and making me feel confident in choosing Calico. I scheduled an appointment for two days later, and true to Eric's word, the technician, Ed, texted me when he was en route. Ed was prompt, professional, and walked me through the process with clarity and care. On top of that, the pricing was very fair--great service without breaking the bank. The experience was so smooth that I immediately assigned them a second property for pest control. Calico Pest Solutions exceeded expectations, and I'll be using them for my other properties going forward. Highly recommend! read more

I woke up one morning and my lawn had been torn apart. I was sure it was gophers. I called two companies. One wanted a signed year-long contract before even coming out. But when I spoke with Eric he had me send pictures, confirmed it was NOT gophers, and sent someone out that day for a free estimate. They figured out the problem is skunks. At zero cost they gave me referrals to help me with wildlife removal. What a delightful experience to have such a quick, accurate, and free identification of the pest causing the problem. I will definitely use them in the future. Thanks! read more

I had rats in my attic that were chewing through wiring and insulation and generally making a horrible smelly mess. I got an initial quote from Calico that was substantially higher than two others who offered the same service of cleaning out the old insulation, screening in all the access points, sanitizing everything and installing new insulation. When I showed Eric one of the estimates that was lower he offered to match the price and take off $100. I agreed to use Calico because he seemed to have the best idea of exactly what needed to be done and they could do it right away. Noah and his crew of two men did an awesome job especially considering it is August and the attic must have been over 100 degrees. They went over the entire roof looking for holes to be screened. They cleaned out all the old smelly insulation, bagged it and took it all away. They installed better quality insulation than I originally had and fixed some electrical cables that had the insulation chewed off. The entire job was done in 3 days and there is a 2 year warranty. I'm glad I went with Calico but it pays to shop around and determine what the proper prize should be. read more
