Called the office late on a Friday and they arranged for Matt to come on Monday afternoon to check out a mouse problem we were having. He walked around the house with me and showed me the potential entry points, and checked the the interior areas where we had seen activity. He said "I usually charge $195 for this, I'd feel bad when you can handle this yourself with 10 bucks worth of spray foam and some snap traps." He even gave me a bunch of snap traps from the back of his truck! Hopefully we don't need an exterminator again for a very long time, but if we do, we'll definitely be giving Bugmizer a call again! read more

I started service with Bugmizer after my previous pest control company was bought by a large corporate pest control company. The Bugmizer owner called me back and gave me an excellent description of their services. He is also an entomologist. The day my service started, the technician called and texted me to let me know they were coming. I met her and discussed specific areas of concern. She then proceeded to complete a treatment and I received a detailed electronic report. I have to say I am very impressed with Bugmizer. The service so far has been excellent, such as texting me to let me know when they will be coming, and using pet friendly chemicals. I really like that I will have the same technician who will know my yard. The constant turnover of technicians with the large corporate pest control companies was always a problem for me. I can't yet speak for the results yet, but I can state that BugMizer responded quickly to my request for service and all subsequent communications, was very flexible with scheduling, was very knowledgeable about their craft, and unhesitant to access difficult to reach spots. They performed what needed to get done for a reasonable fee. I had signs of termites above my tile shower window, and sun-damaged trim on the outside. I didn't want to remove my recent tile job, so I contracted to have the exterior trim replaced. This was the best time for spot treatments from the outside. I used Yelp to call a few termite companies, but none were willing to work with me for inspection dates/times (some people have to work for a living). Dave from BugMizer was able to accommodate my schedule, and work within a narrow time window between when the contractor removed the trim and replaced it. When wet weather pushed work back a day, Dave still came through. I was a little concerned that the termite technician would be hesitant to do the work because it required him to climb onto a pergola to access the second story window header. Matt had no fear as he went up to drill and spray, educating me on what he was doing during the process. Thanks Matt! I suspect that it's just a matter of time before I'll have to break down and fumigate the entire house. When it gets to that point, BugMizer will be the first that I call. read more
