Unfortunately, the squirrel elimination service itself didn't deliver the results I was hoping for. A large trap was set, supposedly capable of catching up to 15 squirrels. I was told that in some cases, up to 28 squirrels were caught in a single day, which gave me hope. At one point, I counted 18 squirrels in my yard, so I was eager to resolve the issue--especially since the squirrels had been digging holes all over my yard and damaging my plants, planters, and bird baths. This was truly a last resort for me, and I was sad to even have to take this step. Despite my hopes, the trap only caught two (very small) squirrels, while the larger, more destructive ones are still around. It seems the bait may have enticed some squirrels initially, but once it was eaten, there was nothing to lure the others in. As a result, the trap never reached its full potential. In short, while the customer service was excellent, I didn't find the actual trapping method effective for the scale of my squirrel problem.

Soooo much better than the large companies - we tried two different large companies before this that were terrible, they would do a decent job on initial visit then on next scheduled visit would be on the property for less than 5 minutes and say they didn't have supplies they needed and would come back - then never did. Had to threaten a lawsuit to get out of contract because the other place did such a bad job and didn't take care of the issues we were paying them for. Verde on the other hand took care of all rodent and insect issues, and the regular maintenance visits are thorough, they are always prepared, and we've never had any insect or rodent issues since.

He told me he likes to continue with once-a-month service but would not require me to sign a contract for that service. I thought his four-week service was very reasonable and actually expected about triple the cost! Overall, a very personable guy with a lot of good, detailed information and great service. It seems the rat problem has been eliminated but, if they return, I will only call Ray! It's a great feeling to know I've found my pest control company and never again need to check for others.

When I called AIPM for a second opinion, I was greeted by a very knowledgeable and polite gentleman named Jordan. He spent nearly an hour inspecting our home (for free!) and shared there were 3 locations on side that needed treatment and the situation was not bad enough to require tenting. I asked a slew of question and he answered all of than knowledgeably. We then scheduled an appointment where Jorge, with over 10 years experience came to do the work. He was incredible and as he said, "small and nimble enough" to get up/over/around all the beams to treat areas and do a second inspection in others. He then cared entire attic with a Borax (sp?). It was a very reasonable price and I get a free inspection in 11 months to ensure no new termites, or the work is free. Highly recommend!

I can't recommend Chris highly enough for humane animal removal services! My husband and I live on…read morea canyon, and had a critter get into the underneath of bathtub through our crawl space and had literally no idea what to do. Chris was able to come out to our home quickly, and get a humane "trap" put in place that would allow the critter to leave on its own. The trap simply allowed the critter to get out of the house and not re-enter the hole, but did not actually trap/enclose it or cause any harm. Once we were certain the critter was gone, Chris came back to close up the space and prevent anything from getting back into our home. He consistently followed up with me to see how things were going throughout the process, and also provided some excellent tips on ways we could further critter-proof our home. I had mentioned to Darla to skip service because of this, and will resume when ready. But just noticed that I have been continued to be auto charged ($87 each time) good thing I looked as I was getting ripped off. Very surprised of this as I'd mentioned this for multiple months to get ahead of this situation and give HomeShield as much communication as possible. It is crappy feeling to have my money taken like that I called in and spoke with Luca and he was helpful in telling me that I'll get credited back for 2 months, and will have CC on hold so not charged. That made me feel good. He said I'd get confirmation email in a few minutes but it's been nearly 2 hours and no email and my CC still showing no credit/refund. They are happy to auto charge me, but cannot accommodate their current customers with the ability to pause service, causing additional headache for me I'll see if there is anything worth updating if/when it happens. otherwise will go straight to credit card company and dispute charges...I don't have time to keep going back to HomeShield to check if they did their work right Still considering if I will continue with HomeShield once I need service again; but I figure I'll have better choice when that time comes UPDATE: after reading other review of not being able to cancel service, I called right back and spoke with Patricia. I asked to cancel service, but she could not do so and had to transfer me to other department and ask me to hold for "2 minutes".
