After a couple of months of back and forth I was able to have someone come out to view my place and provide me a quote. It was no fault of their own just my timing was off. I dealt with Amy and Gia, who were super nice and personable. My technician was Anthony. Anthony was knowledgeable when it came to my issue. I had done a bit of research ahead of time so I knew what kind of pests I was dealing with. He treated my kitchen and upstairs spare bedroom since my ex-roommates left it in disarray. Our front yard was destroyed by gophers and we decided to reach out to a few companies on yelp for quotes. Green Flash stood out because of their many 5 star reviews but beyond that they have THEE BEST customer service. I was scheduled for a free consultation quickly and was lucky enough to get Doug Kadell as our specialist! Doug defines a passionate professional. He is VERY knowledgeable (in my honest opinion - he is the most knowledgeable person about gophers). He took a look at the gopher mounds and explained his thought process on how they were tunneling (direction) and had helpful tips throughout the time he analyzed the property and placed the traps. Doug efficiently and strategically placed enough gopher traps and successfully caught one even before the day ended. He truly cares and goes above and beyond to share as much information with you as you'd like (even explained how the traps worked, how to properly set them up and specifically what to look for). I've been contemplating updating this review.. part of me just wants this behind me..but I just don't want anyone to go through what I'm going through. So I gave them a 5 star review based on their "performance" as they (really just Eric) were baiting and sealing my home. 1) First off, Eric was blasting his reggae music ( no considering to me, the home owners or neighbors) as he is all over my home outside and in. I didn't say anything because according to yelp they are the best! He seals my dryer vent to prevent mice coming in. However, he did it in a way that broke my drying machine. When I called my appliance repair man.. he said the exterminator shouldn't of done that in a way that won't let the lint pass through. 2) the rubber that is on the bottom of my garage door was ripped in certain areas. Eric takes it upon himself to remove it completely. Doesn't ask permission, just does it. Never returns it..He said his company recommends "door dorks garage door" to repair it and they will cover the cost. Turns out they were unable to repair it due to it being discontinued (not sure if I believe that) and tried to sell me a $5000. new garage doors. WTF!!! 3) my home is currently infested with mice. It was NOT that way before they came over. Whatever they did (or did not do) didn't work. They charged me over $1,000. For what I feel was a scam. 4) Eric finishes the job then runs his line about how reviews is how they stay in business, blah, blah blah.. at the time I really believed him and all the previous reviews so I wrote a 5 star review based on what I saw that day. I am still paying the price for the damage done to my home. I'm wondering what else would come up in the future. Please beware. Don't get fooled like I did by probably fake reviews. Green Flash has really been reliable during a tough patch. I started getting an unusually high amount of bug bites, even one that landed me in urgent care with a nasty infection. Green flash came to evaluate my house for bed bugs and thank god we didn't have them. They gave me advice before spraying to try to see if we could clear the problem. Well, when the bites persisted Green Flash came for an intensive treatment of our house. They worked quickly and were very fair on rates. They answered all of my questions and put my mind at ease. So far no new bites since the intensive treatments. The next appointment is in the books and I'll definitely be a repeat customer. Chris has been really great each time he's been to my home. First off, John is excellent. He is honest and will do what he can to make sure the company backs their word. I'm sure their pest services are great. This review is for house tenting / fumigation ONLY. DO NOT TENT your house through Green Flash. They subcontract to Quality Pest Control, and the damage they did to my house was unbelievable. Things they broke (none of which they even told us, we were left to find the damage ourselves): -Custom build wooden gate -Outdoor fence -Outdoor shed -Two sets of indoor blinds -Two metal drain pipes They fixed the shed and fence. They insisted their "handyman" could fix the gate. He came to our house, worked on the gate without telling us, and his "fix" lasted two weeks before detaching. The subcontractor denied breaking the metal drains, but fortunately Green Flash stepped in to make it right. It was a three month process of finding the right parts, but they kept me informed along the way. I end this process with a broken gate, broken blinds, and hours of wasted time chasing Quality Pest Control. I can only hope Green Flash does not continue working with them. read more

John from Green Flash was friendly, thorough, inspecting our single family home for termites. We'd see evidence of termite debris for awhile so we expected tenting was necessary. John confirmed this and we set a date a few weeks later. An Anaheim sub-contractor, Quality Pest Services (http://qualitypestservices.net) arrived to tent our house. We spent two nights out of our house as scheduled & they removed the tent quickly & efficiently. All evidence of termites, as well as many other insects, were gone. We ask John for a termite repair estimate. Because our house is close to the neighbor's, scaffolding & two technicians would be required to bondo the 2nd story eaves. The cost of repairs was quoted at more than twice the cost of tenting. Repairs were not that substantial so we will contact another contractor for repairs. read more

I had Greenflash out for the first time about 2 years ago. I had noticed some termite droppings in one outside location. They came out, were very pleasant, recommended a spot treatment which they did a few days later for a couple hundred bucks. Within 6 months I noticed new droppings - I called and they came back out and told me it was just residual from the original infestation, which was taken care of by the spot treatment, not to worry. Flash forward a year or 18 months - they are calling me to ask me if I want to spend another ~$300 to extend the warranty on the original spot treatment. I decline, not really seeing what the warranty is going to buy me. 6 months later, I notice the droppings are still happening in the same spot, I call them back - suddenly I need $2500 tenting + $1100 in wood repair. I've called them multiple times to discuss this situation and haven't gotten a hold of anyone. Now getting competing quotes to have the house tented. read more

I was in need of a wood destroying insect inspection. Other companies were booking out multiple weeks in advance; Green Flash was able to come out within 2 business days! Customer service over the phone was great! Mary was knowledgeable, professional and it honestly sounded like she was happy to be working for Green Flash...not the usual robotic/canned answers, but a very experienced person happily getting things done. I was given a choice of arrival windows, and given the name of the specific person that would be coming out. On the day of the inspection I received a text from the inspector identifying/introducing himself and providing an arrival heads up. John was an absolute professional throughout the entire inspection. He explained what he found in our home, thoroughly reviewed available remedies and provided me with his recommendations - which we followed. Incredulously, he was able to secure a NEXT DAY service appointment for treatment. Just like before I received a text from the technician, Jesse, identifying himself and providing an updated arrival time. The treatment was completed quickly, and cleanly! There was no "clean-up" of dust and debris that I've encountered with other in-home services, and he wore disposable shoe covers in the home. Exceedingly professional throughout the entire appointment. We contacted Green Flash Pest Control when we noticed termite activity around one of our windows and dry rot on wood at the entrance to our house. Eddie took the time to explain everything he noticed on the property and what our options were to correct them. He inspected the exterior, interior and attic of the house, and educated us on what termite activity looked like. Pointed out the dry rot on the header and beam at the entrance of the house, and what he suggested should be done. We were sold on his honesty and technical know how. Dave arrived today to complete the repairs on the window sill, trim board and to apply a termite solution. He also removed the beam and header at the entrance of the house, and suggested a few ideas on how to make the house look even better than it was originally built. This company has treated our condo for ants twice in 2 years. The first time was when we originally moved in, in 2019.
