I had upwards of a dozen damaged crawlspace screens, and Tony and Sunny did careful, meticulous work in repairing the whole mess of openings with painstaking stitching and sealing. She handled all of the scheduling and administrative tasks for our work order. Pest patrol recommended a $2700 heat treatment to my 90 year old dad for bedbugs that he picked up at his dialysis center "because it is the only treatment that kills both the bugs and their eggs". After treatment, and several months of my dad no longer attending the place that was source of the infestation, the bugs, which we had never in our lives seen before the original infestation, have resurged. So we called Pest Patrol about the unresolved bedbug problem. A few weeks ago, Christian, from pest patrol, came back and did one chemical treatment of the house, which did NOT eliminate the problem. When I called Pest Patrol to come back again because the problem is still not resolved, Christian said that he KNOWS that the problem was eliminated, that a new infestation was our fault (ie. we brought in a new batch of bedbugs from somewhere else after their extermination), again, he KNOWS this, and that Pest Patrol would happily keep coming back as often as needed for $300 a shot, but with no guarantees. He told me that Pest Patrol already did the service that I paid for (which was to "bring the heavy equipment in and heat the house only"-(his words)-), that "eliminating" the bed bugs was not necessarily part of that service, and that the chemical treatment revisit was a courtesy above and beyond what we had contracted for my dad-- basically, lots of reasons for them NOT to come back and honor the quality of their service. I was shocked and angry at having been taken advantage of in this way. There is nothing I can do to get Pest Patrol to honor their service, but I hope this review is a warning to you not to trust these guys, no matter how nice and knowledgable they seem when they give you a quote. **Btw, I should have heeded my liar warning indicator when on day of service, after days of our home prep for this treatment, they showed up several hours late "because their driver who had the keys to the building was stuck in lines at the US/Mexico border-- A quick check of Border Wait Time app showed only a 15 minute wait at all local crossings. read more

Elliot, the owner, suggested I use a heat treatment for the attic which ended up being a great suggestion as there were no chemicals and I didn't have to move out. Their quotes were the most competitive right off the bat! I met John twice, once during the inspection and then again when he came to answer my questions about our home's upcoming fumigation. He was super knowledgeable and friendly, easy to ask questions to, and reassured me about my concerns with fumigation. After John stopped by the second time, I scheduled repairs and fumigations with Elizabeth over the phone. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Joe, Javier, and Oscar when they came to do repairs on the home the day before fumigation. They took great care with replacing infested portions and had an upbeat attitude that was easy to joke with. We had the home fumigated while we were out of town; SUPER EASY! We left a lock box with the keys on the front door and didn't worry about it while we were away. Because I had met the repair team and John, I knew that my home was in capable hands. The communication from Elizabeth was too notch! I was kept up to date with invoices and scheduling, which services were completed when, and what documents to expect for signing. Email concerns and questions were addressed in a polite and efficient manner; I was never left waiting and waiting. Overall, working with Pest Patrol throughout escrow and then afterwards on the home was one of the easiest services I've booked since becoming a homeowner. Their employees broke 2 sets of my vertical window blinds where they ran hoses and exhaust lines thru the windows. The blinds were broken and literally on the floor when I went back into my townhouse after the 2 day fumigation tenting. I guess they hire monkeys as their employees. I called the co and they claim zero responsibility to repair them. The President-Mr Lee Pierce, who owns this Ramona location, told me to hire someone to repair them. Pretty sad if you ask me. I own 4 properties. I will NOT be using this co in my future. I work for a giant healthcare co here in San Diego & I will be telling everyone I know about my horrible experience with them. I spoke with Elizabeth today, Friday the 22nd about the fact that the termite work to be done on Wednesday the 19th was incomplete (only the dining room window was to be done and the original report stated that the stair case leading up to the small loft and attic had termites according to the original report done in October.). She explained that the report had inadvertently not been written so the second termite inspector only saw evidence of termite residue on the dining room window sill so this was the only treatment that could be done presently. She was so kind in her explanation that my disappointment at not having both sites treated now, just disappeared. We have been overrun with spiders for a while, so we called Pest Patrol. We have used them in the past and have been pleased with them. This time the spiders seemed to be taking over! Ryan came out last Thursday and sprayed around the house and outbuildings. Here it is the following Monday and I no longer have to fight my way through webs to get out of the garage or to our front porch chairs. If there was a six-star rating or at least a 5+, Ryan and Pest Patrol would get them. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. LAWSUIT COMING SOON. Horrible everything. They had to come back at least 8 times just for mistakes made (horrible patch work, messes made, nails and garbage left on roof) and termite damage completely missed. One employee just blamed another employee each time. Don't trust them to get anything done on time or correctly without babysitting the entire crew. I should have babysat, but I didn't have time so it would be days to notice things after the fact. They charge an enormous amount just to turn around and use the cheapest material and avoid replacing any wood if possible. Had I not asked multiple times for them to replace several pieces of wood, they would have just patched everything. Speaking of patching, refer to their patchwork. A JOKE. Not to mention, the paint job. That's another story. They used several browns in one area..... They blamed it on the workers buying different colors without the knowledge of which color was the correct match. Also, they got paint on the stucco and gutters and didn't bother to clean it up even after they said they would. I took this too the owner, Lee, who had a cocky and whatever attitude. $10,000 and I expected a bit more professionalism. From the inspection (missing half of the work needed to be done), to "repairs," even the FUMIGATION process was a complete joke. Had everything been done properly to begin with (inspection) MAYBE time would have been saved. They had to take apart part of my patio just to tent the house. They didn't realize this until the day of tenting, which delayed the closing of the property, costing me thousands. This is what an inspection is for......?? Lastly, even the workers are fed up. At least three of them spoke with me about how this company fucks people hard. They get away with doing things cheaply because people don't notice. These workers would throw in some extra stuff when the "bosses" weren't there. They felt bad. Even though their work sucked, they were decent guys. Third, I had termites boring in my outside wood siding and they came over right away to check it out and treated and sealed up the hole with matching paint so I can't even tell where they were. We bought a new house in July and were made aware of a rodent issue in the attic. We received a couple quotes to fix the issue and also replace the insulation. Pest patrol had the better price, even though they would be using a superior insulation product. Tony was our on-site team lead for the actual work that needed to be done. He was very friendly and informative throughout this initial process of removing the insulation. Umberto was also there helping out. He was also very friendly and a hard worker. I felt bad as it was about 95 degrees both days so far and in the attic I can only guess how hot it was. Both Tony and Umberto have done a great job so far.
