The pavers at my house in Ocean Beach had become the site of a major ant condo complex with anthills every foot or so from my patio to the curb. I see why Doug's bug company has such good reviews on yelp. I had a great experience. Doug, the owner, came in person to do the estimate. He was knowledgeable and spent a lot of time assessing the job. Once we had decided on a plan and signed the contract, his team was there within a few days. Two guys (Josh and Mike) we're on site. They were knowledgeable, highly competent, respectful of the property, and easy to work with. At one point when there was a question about what to do, they called Doug and talked it over with him. I was definitely impressed, and I felt that I was in the hands of friendly, knowledgeable professionals. I have a previous review, but I just have to say how amazing was today because of Victor. We were starting to get the seasonal ants (Mind you, we only used them once, so after 2 years no ants?!), but we got a really bad infestation of spiders. Haven't had that problem in over a decade. Victor came out, and spent so much time even getting rid of cobwebs, before he even started spraying. He spent so much time!! And then he really took his time spraying anywhere there was an issue. I cannot recommend Doug's Bug enough!! We are going to be lifelong customers. They bill bi-monthly, and it is only $5 more compared to the places I see around the neighborhood that seem to spend 10- 15 minutes at that. I HIGHLY recommend this company! I love this company, and have used them exclusively for close to 3 years now, with great results at my property. Doug came over and met us personally to begin with, and often does the treatments himself! However I have now also met Victor and Josh (and perhaps others) and everyone seems to be cut of the same stellar cloth! I have been using this company for about a year now. They are punctual, efficient, thorough and they dont rush the job. They take as long as they need to to do a thorough job. I had a friend that was dealing with a flea problem at their house and everything they tried for weeks was not working and only driving them more nuts on a daily basis. I had then remembered Michael M at Long Story Irish Pub and Scott W at OB Brewery raving about a local company called Doug's Bug Company that eliminates all sorts of pests. Scott had mentioned they are like bug nerds (in a positive way) and enjoy what they do like winning a game of chess against unwanted pests. So my friend made an appointment and I happened to be at the house when they started the treatment. Josh the exterminator who came out from Doug's Bugs, was super friendly, professional, very educational and he's explanation on how they would eliminate the fleas was very visual. He quickly put my friends mind at ease. Long story short, they did an amazing job, very impressed and now I'll be recommending Doug's Bugs to everyone with a pest issue.
