Went in to pick up a few tarps. Aisles were clean. Looks like they have about one staff member at the checkout possibly to in store. When the line gets long, just walk around and come back once the line dies down but the checkout moves relatively OK. Different items on the shelves since my last visit so it looks like they're producing different products now. You'll find some decent prices as you know which is why you come to Harbor freight. Parking plentiful you can squeeze in near the front door. read more

Big Bro was in the market for clamps (for some project) and since we were around the area, might as well make a stop. Not our usual Harbor Freight (but even still, I haven't been to that place for years) but the setup is very similar. Everything is placed where they should be. No clutter anywhere. Big Bro found everything he needed. I found stuff I didn't know I needed, add his military discount = a good run. A little further than our go-to but good to know we have options. read more

My husband went into the store to buy an item in an ad which did it say if you came in the first three days of the sale, you didn't get the price without being a member. When the salesman, Stan, explained he had to be a member he told him the membership fee was five dollars since it was only five dollars my husband said yes. Then when my husband gets home and looks at the receipt, he was charged $30 for the membership which right there the salesman lied. I did contact the manager of the store, Lauren, she said he can return the item or he can get a credit for the membership and pay the full price even though your ad is severely misleading. They have lost a few customers due to this because I will make sure I pass the word through family and friends about your company. read more

I've been a Harbor Freight customer for years and always find the tools & accessories I need at reasonable prices. Tip: Sign up for the newsletter to receive sale notices & coupons. The store is clean, well-lit and very organized which makes it easy to find what you're looking for. And if you can't find it the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! They're located in the back corner of a large U-shaped strip mall so there is plenty of parking. Speaking of the parking lot, they frequently have parking lot sales with prices much lower than the regular low prices. read more

I dont know what I would do without this store not being here. They have a awesome supply of tools and work materials. the prices are good. They have regular or very high-quality products. I don't shop here very often because they never have enough stock of items they post on their sidewalk sale. It's like the car dealerships who offer a great deal with the small print, "Only one at this price". read more

Came here to buy exacto knives and couldn't find them in the aisle, so I needed a store associate to find them for me. I was surprised to see that they sell huge blades that are just hanging on the rack for anyone to buy. Kind of scary. $5 for a little exacto blade kit seemed like a pretty good deal. read more

I've been going to this location for nearly 20 years. 99% of the time, they have what I need in stock. The hired help is always friendly and helpful. A few times over the years, I had to special order an item, and it always arrived faster than I could clear a space for it in the shop. read more

Been coming here for year's..... Newer associate younger gentlemen with arm sleeved tattoos was ringing me out..... Never before have I seen such a lazy individual..... He looks at me and says I can't scan the item because of the barcode being unreadable..... Silence followed for about 20 seconds, I then stated "this is the time you'd call for a price check"..... He did so and then that's when the hate in his eye's grew..... (if you don't like your job, simply quit) Finished with the transaction (3 item's total) and handed me the receipt.... He then look's down at the un-bagged item's , I asked him to please bag them for me.... His reply? The weight of the item was to heavy for the bag..... Not because of trial and error...... Because he just didn't want to do it.... He then finally puts the item's in 2 bags (mind you with attitude) and I was on my way..... Epic FAIL! read more

Today was the first day of member only specials and checked an item showed in stock, drove over and you didn't have in stock, would have been the only thing bought with the membership, since we got it, won't be renewing. Twelve stars for Daniel's service! I was installing some running boards on my car- 1 bolt was stuck TIGHT-- I tried the basic tools I had at home to no avail. I went to Home Depot- no one could help me/ one guy told me I needed to go to a mechanic and shouldn't bother trying to install parts by myself. (I'm a girl, but I can't say for sure that was the reason- I very obviously don't know a lot about tools, just enough to get by/ change my own tire or fix a leaky faucet) I went to Harbor Freight-- I explained to both employees (Daniel and a super helpful girl- didn't get her name) on duty what the issue was. They responded in Unison- "you need a bolt extractor" I asked if he could come look at the bolt on my car to confirm-- he said yes and came to check it. He took the bolt extractor to make sure it fit. We went inside, I paid for the tools and without hesitation Daniel went back out to my car, laid on the ground and extracted the bolt for me. Talk about above and beyond!!! Harbor Freight will now be my go-to for any tool or advice. Thank you, Daniel! read more

Need some inexpensive tools? This is the place. No, don't go looking for top of the line brands or even middle of the road brands, but if you want some simple....... look, stop in and walk around and I promise at some point during your walk-thru you will go, "Hey, I could use one of these." Now this kind of thinking has worked on me because I can spend time here and talk myself into something. Plus there are some ridiculously cheap deals, especially on small items. Get on the mailing list and you'll receive super coupons on a regular basis. This is the place to fill out your tool box, tool peg board and garage cabinet. read more

This is a great place to go for tools. Just be aware that most of the tools here are of the cheaper made level. they have great deals and on sale items. some of the stuff is good quality, but i find most of it is cheaper stuff. but to me, depending on what i need that is just fine. as today i went looking for a soldering iron, and they had a soldering gun for $15, with a kit, cant beat that. the last one i got lasted me a few years. so for the price, its perfect. take a look on line, when you need tools, you might find a good tool for cheap. plus this store is 5 minutes from me. good store, always stocked, always find help when i ask. check the web page for items, they have lots of stuff. read more

The staff at this location is extremely helpful. I was looking for something that appeared to be sold out, but the manager at the store went to their warehouse and located the clamps I was looking for. He followed up assisting me by walking throughout the whole store to make sure customers were satisfied and were able to find what they were looking for. The ladies at the registers were also polite and professional as they handled the various transactions. They make sure to advise customers they have hand sanitizer available for their use prior to exiting the store. Thumbs up to the staff at this location. read more

I agree with a lot of the other reviewers are saying which is the customer service can be a little more helpful. But aside from that this place is absolutely wonderful. They have the best deals and the best prices you will find anywhere. I also think the quality of the tools that they offer are improving over time as well. Seems like perhaps the prices might be starting to go up along with that improvement in quality but hey it's like they say, you get what you pay for. read more

So you need some cheap tools? This is the place. Be smart with what you buy and you won't be disappointed. Obviously something "complex" like a compressor or lathe will probably not be a good idea here, but simple items (like a moving dolly), and simple hand tools are decent. Supply-type stuff is a smokin deal, things like rubber gloves, air fittings, safety goggles, adhesives, etc. The staff is generally pretty helpful, and most things are usually in stock. They also run sales almost every week, just check the newspaper flyer to see if there is anything interesting - sometimes the deals can be quite amazing! read more

As far as tool stores go, this is the Wal-mart of tools. Yup, china made (tho you'd be hard pressed to find non-china-made tools at Home Depot) tools that are uber cheap. Best idea is to buy the tool when you don't need it - or get lucky when they're on sale and you do need it. The prices drop like 60% when they have flier specials. Yeah, don't come here expecting too much tool help. They just seem to know how to stock the shelves.. Like I said, Wal-mart.. read more

I want to give them a high rating, because they have quite a bit at decent prices, and I was going to look around and perhaps purchase more than I came here for, but.... I called the store wanting to make sure they had a drywall lift in stock before making the hour long drive. I was told five were in stock. Get to the store, tell them what I want, guy goes to ring it up and it won't let him sell it. Why, I ask? No response, no reason. Mentioned that I called and was told 5 were in stock. He verified that but simply told me the register would not let him ring it up and there was nothing he could or would do. Due to the fact that the guy at the register was a Grade A Asshole (he could have asked a manager or someone higher up why he couldn't sell an in stock item, or try to figure out how to do it himself) and I made a 2 hour round trip for nothing, 1 star since it is the lowest Yelp will permit. read more

I was introduced to Harbor Freight about three years ago. I used to shop at Lowe's, Home Depot and Sears as I was a Name Brand buyer. Now that some tools are not used but a couple of times a month or year, why spend three time the amount. Yeah, most items here are made in China, but most items suit the average DIY projects around the house. Most hand tools or power tools that I use heavily are big brand names. My only drawback is that I wish they would open sooner, as most of use that have home projects, need to start early and need that unforeseeable tool. Also, I hate those sale flyer's, cuz it gets me to always go there every week, darn them! read more

The managers are all amazing. They are quick to help, direct me to the correct products, search them up if they are not available and also recommend similar products that I might not know about. SHORT SHORT VERSION: Cheap Disposable Tools. They get the job done and last a while if you don't use them very often. So I am still giving it 4 stars because I know what I am buying. If I were to compare this place to Home Depot or Lowes it would not be fair. The quality of product is not the same. However even the cheap stuff isn't all that bad. I do like the fact they have coupons that can make cheap crap even cheaper. I have had several tools that break under used, or need to be modified, but then there are a bunch of tools that handle just fine under normal wear and tear. Almost every ratchet clamp (12"-24") has broken, but with a couple screws in the proper place, I am able to make it stronger and more durable when they do break. I had a screwdriver that when i tried to tighten a screw anything past lightly snug, the plastic grip rotated around the screwdriver shaft. But then I have products like a vise, and that is just bulletproof, it is so sturdy I can't seem to break it even when I use it to hold weird objects I'm working on. Like any place if you know what it is, and what to buy there and what to avoid you can be a very happy customer. Lastly, waxes, and car care products(name brand stuff) are more expensive here than local auto parts store or big chains like Target/Wal-Mart. read more

My boyfriend likes going to these stores, he says its the "99 cent store" of tools. You get what you pay for though and sometimes if you find good coupons, its an even better deal. we have been to this one a few times and the service isn't bad, parking is ample, and its open late. read more

You just gotta love Harbor Freight Tools. I feel so lucky that this place exists. There are so many repairs that I considered calling a handyman or a repair person to do, but instead I would just come here and purchase the tool necessary to do the repair and inevitably save myself hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Without Harbor Freight I could never consider doing this because the purchase of the two of us would just be too expensive. I've noticed on other reviews that people complain about their return policy. However, I've never needed to return anything and everything I have purchased has worked without a problem. Not only that, I don't want to feel bad returning things here considering how inexpensive they are in the first place. Regardless comma you should always think of Harbor Freight Tools first when considering the purchase of a new tool, and less of course you're a professional contractor and use the tool on a daily basis for years on end. Then I would recommend a higher quality, but if that is not your craft then you have found the answer! read more
