This was my first time to Haraz Coffee, and I can't wait to come back! I opted for the everything bagel pastry, which has flaky dough and cream cheese inside. Had it warmed up and it was fantastic! Wanted some matcha and originally was gonna goto a boba tea shop that was next door. Then we saw a sign for all the matcha drinks that Haraz had. So we went in and checked them out. The inside looks very swanky and the employees was very nice. We got a mango match and a lavender matcha. The mango matcha was ok, nothing special. The flavors kind of fought each other. The lavender Matcha though 10/10. The flavor meld together so well and it had a hint of spices at the end. They also have some bakery items and sandwiches. You MUST get this when you go (specially iced). Any seasonal drink I've tried has been very tasty too. They get their flavors right every time. The traditional coffee I got (Harazi Mufawar) was really good, and I'd definitely be interested in trying other flavors. I also got a couple pastries to try. While it can be hard to find a seat here, I completely understand why! My friends and I discovered this spot one late night because we had just ate and wanted to play card games at a coffee shop. This was one of the only coffee shops open late and it is an absolute vibe. It's loud and busy which is so comforting when you want to hang out and not necessarily just work. If you're looking for a working vibe, this is probably not the spot for you. Here we've seen tons of friends hanging out, playing cards, laughing and having such a good time. And the food/coffee is amazingggg. I've had a few sweet treats including the Biscoff cheesecake which was so delicous (highly recommend). I've also had a iced salted caramel macchiato which was tasty and the presentation was even cooler. The service is pretty fast and efficient, especially for how busy they get. Let's start with the positives- the inside is sleek and modern. The assortment of pastries, the variety of coffees, teas, and refreshers are all well worth the trip. I ordered the matcha latte iced and it was good. The matcha was good quality and I appreciated the portion size. I also ordered the berry milk cake, which was delicious and just what I was hoping it would be. Now for the negatives- parking was not great. If you are lucky, depending on what time/day you go, you may find parking on the side street and around back. Otherwise, good luck. My second negative was with the woman taking my order. She was not pleasant and not attentive. I felt like I was a bother to her, especially when asking about a particular cake that had no label. She was not even looking at what I was pointing at and had to ask her twice what the cake was. For a first time customer, I was hoping for more on the customer service side of things. I feel bad that it's taken me this long to get to Haraz after multiple people have told me how awesome it is. And they're right. This was a lovely coffee break with my wife. We stopped in Saturday morning and while it was busy, we managed to find a table while I queued for coffee. Two lattes and a tasty looking pastry were very much enjoyed.
