So I personally did not like my coffee but I'm not gonna blame the establishment because they had really good ratings and reviews so I can imagine their drinks are actually really good. First off, their establishment is so cute and cozy. I loved the different options they had. They had Vietnamese coffee and Thai tea which I desperately wanted one of those but I committed to strict keto this month so I couldn't have the sugar. I decided to get a cold brew with heavy cream and sf hazelnut syrup which is typically what I try to get anywhere I go. I think depending on what brand of sugar free syrups a business uses, determines if it taste good or not. It's always a hit or miss. This particular one wasn't sweet and made it bitter. Although I didn't like it, I still drank it. I will definitely try again when I can have sugar and try to Thai tea or Vietnamese coffee cuz that is one of my favorite! They are in the metropolitan area so please go if you haven't tried them yet.

This coffee shop was so cute! Very interesting flavors, like the ube latte which was delicious. I had the lavender latte which was very creamy and good. I also had an egg and cheese crossaint sandwich which was the perfect size and super good.

Another Waterbean location I frequent and love! The menu offers a variety of hot and cold coffee drinks and pastries. I ordered an Americano, and it was delicious. It's centrally located, and the ambience is always great. Baristas are friendly and professional. There is free parking, but it gets packed as it's shared with other businesses. Overall, 100% recommended.

This spot is perfect for grabbing a coffee or tea and getting some work done. It was quiet on a Wednesday afternoon which surprised me in a great way! Many people were in and out grabbing coffee to go but there were plenty of tables and seating indoors. I had the matcha latte which was fantastic. Parking is easy since there is a large public garage attached to the building. The staff were friendly and the cafe was very clean. Will be stopping by again the best time I need a spot to relax with a cup of coffee!

I love this place!! I am always greeted when I walk in the door, and the baristas are personal and welcoming always. I've never had a bad experience here!! It is so quiet on weekday mornings, slow acoustic music, and there is so much seating. I got the caramel iced latte with oat milk, and it was super yummy. Try it out

Great coffee spot! I got an americano with sugar free vanilla syrup and oat milk and it was delicious. This was also likely the most delicious blueberry muffin - almost like cake! The staff was very nice and accommodating. There is short term (30 min) parking right out front and then a huge parking deck at the Metropolitan so plenty of options.

Delicious coffee spot with a variety of options. Service was quick and friendly. Relaxing environment that would be great for either a get together or study day. Coffee tasted extremely fresh. They also offer smaller snack items such as macaroons, breads, chips etc.

This coffee shop is cute. I ordered an iced chai latte and grabbed a bag of Guatemala beans for my husband. The service was friendly and my drink was delicious.

I know I just left a review 2 weeks ago, but had to make an update right away. I visited on New Years Day with my husband, and again brought our laptops to work from. This time, I had ordered an Iced White Chocolate Latte & my husband ordered a peppermint hot chocolate. Let me tell you...the Iced White Chocolate Latte blew my mind. It was so so so so flavorful & it has become my favorite all time drink - even better than Starbucks! I will obviously be back but will continue getting that drink until I become tired of it. Soooo YUMMY!

After dropping my daughter off at Presbyterian for a thing, I headed to a nearby coffee place that was open for "dine-in" to hang out. Waterbean is located in the Metropolitan shopping center and there is free 30 minute parking out front or you can hunt for a space in the parking deck. Inside, reasonably spaced tables and social distancing at the counter where I ordered an easy double espresso. They had four espresso coffees to choose from. Not quite overwhelming, but it was helpful that the young lady who took my order was able to make a recommendation. My coffee was ready a few moments later and it was perfect. Hot, rich, very dark. Very well caffeinated, which was appreciated. I sat for a bit, enjoyed it and their free wifi, and then moved on. Good stuff! [Review 14762 overall, 263 of 2021, number 2813 in North Carolina.]

Paid $9 for coffee that tastes like dog water and it took 15 min to come out when the shop wasn't busy.

Crispy bread filled with cubed marinated beef. Great flavors. Only issue is the beef kinda fall out if the sandwich. I like that the bread was not too thick. Yucca fries : 5 stars. Well done!! Tender and soft inside, crispy outside. Tastes great with the accompanying dip. Passionfruit juice: tart and refreshing. I enjoyed it well. 4.5 stars. I'm sad to say I was feeling less adventurous that day so instead of the Dutch bread I opted for a regular white hoagie roll instead. They also offer all of their sandwiches in a wrap as well if that is more your speed. Their signature sandwiches all come with a number of their own unique ingredients but it's important to note that they have a standard blend of toppings that comes on each sandwich similar to jersey mikes and their "mikes way". I'm glad this was explained to me because I don't know how they would have possibly fit that many ingredients on my sandwich! I went with the Ellie Get In My Belly which came with some tangy honey mustard based barbecue sauce as well as their special Kicks white sauce. The sandwich was delicious although I think they may have gone a little too overboard with the sauce as the sandwich was very messy. That being said I can tolerate messy if the flavors are good and this was a very tasty sandwich and a great lunch. As with most places in the Monarch Market it is a little pricey, but that's the cost of having a small business operate Uptown. I would definitely recommend checking out Kicks next time you're looking for lunch options or find yourself perusing the Monarch Market.

The ordering and payment process was easy. I was solo so I took a seat at the bar area to eat. Sandwich looked good when I unwrapped it, large slices of toasted bread with fresh lettuce and tomato. The strangest thing was, on the left side of the sandwich were several slices of deli turkey rolled up. On the right side of the sandwich were several slices of deli ham rolled up. I hadn't seen a sandwich made like that before. It felt like half of a turkey sandwich and half of a ham sandwich as opposed to a ham and turkey sandwich. Was it bad? Definitely not. I waffled between a 3 and a 4 star for this one but felt generous because, overall, I liked the vibe of the place.
