This is one of the best coffee spots in the city. The morning light that fills the warm yet elevated space is as lovely as the beaming staff. The mezzanine is cozy and quiet for an intimate conversation with friends or as a reading nook. I tried the new iced banana drink and loved balanced of sweet syrup and bitter espresso. They have a growing assortment of house-made syrups which makes all the difference in a great latte! Can't wait to return.

*THIS PLACE HAS CHANGED LOCATION IT IS NOW 2838 The Plaza Charlotte, NC 28205 United States* I came here for the first time and as a former barista I am pretty picky about my coffee. However, I would rate CHNO highly, their coffee has wonderful flavor notes, and there are options for homemade syrups. (I would just ask about them if you are particular like me.) I also ordered a cinnamon roll, which they outsource from a local baker, it was super yummy. In addition, their location is inside the Pizza Cafe, so if you wanted a bite and a cup of joe this would be the spot for you! The barista was lovely, very friendly and patient. This spot is cute, I would recommend a visit here for a nice catch-up coffee with an old friend.

Come during store hours, the place will be locked otherwise.

Not open @ 8am on Sunday's as advertised. Sucks because their coffee is really good but sad to learn upon coming on a Sunday that the hours are not true. I guess you're better off coming when the store is open bc the door will be locked!

A place with delicious coffee drinks inside the cutest local boutique?! YES and YES! We came on a late Sunday morning and were informed that they had just recently moved over to this larger spot the past weekend - before, they were "in a closet" inside the shop. Now, there is space to line up (because the coffee is so good, no wonder there is a line!) along with a separate seating area with music playing, candles and other goods for sale, and super comfortable velvet couches & pillows. We really enjoyed the two iced lattes (with oat milk) that we ordered! The Royal Crumb, which Crown & Honey's owner explained is their signature drink, tastes like the delicious streusel topping on a coffee cake. YUM. I could drink this on the daily. The Lavender Haze was nicely floral with notes of local honey, which the shop can sell you! Both were different and downright delicious. Lots of parking despite the shop being pretty busy. Super friendly service. I will most definitely be back for my next buzz!

Wow, so impressed by this new spot in Plaza Midwood. Once you figure out the entrance (see photo to the door below), you enter an adorable boutique/lounge. I got the hunnybee latte, the perfect yummy treat but not too sweet! Even if you're not hungry, do yourself a favor and take one of their delicious scones to go.

Cherry Berry Lotus Energy Drink - deliciousness in a cup!!

Okay, I may be biased, but CHNO Coffee is something special. You can feel the love in every detail -- from the drinks to the decor to the way customers are treated. I've watched this business grow from a mobile cart to a full beautiful shop, and the way it's stayed true to its heart is just incredible. It's not just a coffee shop -- it's a place where people feel seen and cared for. If you're in Charlotte, do yourself a favor and stop in. You'll see what I mean.

That particular day, I had a bad experience at another coffee shop after wasting money on an iced latte that was horrid. When I walked into Summit, I said to the barista, look I can't take another bad coffee, do I have to tell you I want it sweet in order to get an iced latte that isn't bitter? The barista took the time to speak with me regarding my experience and share how Summit makes their coffee and syrups. She even let me sample one. That resulted in a great experience as I purchased the enjoyable Birthday Cake Summit Special ($6.60). While this shop is far from my residence, I definitely will go back whenever I'm in the area.

Service was friendly and efficient. I got a large chai latte and peppermint tea which came out to about $10. The chai was ok.. it's a store bought mix that is on the sweeter and more mild side. I probably would not get this again and would order an espresso based latte instead (only because I like a strong chai and it's hard to adjust the flavor of a premade mix). Overall they seems to have a good variety of coffee based drinks to choose from. A few pastries available as well. The merch looked cute too!

It has such a calm vibe with plenty of seating inside and some outdoors as well. I loved that they offer seasonal drinks alongside their classics and food options. We opted for a cortado, a vanilla lavender matcha, and a chicken chorizo breakfast burrito. Everything tasted delicious and was served fast. We sat for around an hour working on our laptops and weren't interrupted. There were people chatting as well, so it's a great space to do both. I absolutely loved the fact that you can get other drinks too, since they have a large selection of wines and seltzers. Everyone we talked with was super sweet--I can't wait to visit again!

Anyway, I sat by a very friendly caressing plant until the 2 guys on their tinder date left the couch. There were no outlets at some of the other spots so I waited out and side eye the couch spot. A minute after I sat down, a lovely couple tried to squeeze the vintage wooden booth that looked like it was built before the civil war. Cute tho but tiny. I told them they were fine to join me so they could sit in the comfy chairs! And that I didn't mind. So they were grateful to join my spot back here in the last room. I don't need to bogart the whole corner so I was happy also that they came over. Food is good here and everyone nice and helped me carry my order so I didn't spill my beloved matcha latte!

I had recently tried this drink at another Haraz location and loved it so much that I officially considered myself a matcha drinker. When I received my drink, I noticed it looked much pinker than it had at the other locations I'd visited. I assumed it had just been mixed and that the usual layers of matcha, strawberry, and whipped cloud had blended together, so I didn't think much of it. However, after taking my first sip in the car, it immediately tasted like strawberry milk. Since I was on my way to work, I kept drinking it, expecting the matcha flavor to come through, but it never did. It was disappointing because the drink was nothing like the one I've had several times at other Haraz locations. I hope this location places an emphasis on training and consistency so the drinks meet the same standard as the rest of the Haraz locations. On a positive note, the staff members were kind, welcoming, and greeted me as soon as I walked in.

You can actually watch the nitro percolating and settling in the glass when it's poured, which is such a treat. To go with the coffee, I ordered the breakfast burrito and a chocolate pastry. The burrito was delicious and generous in size, served with a salsa that brought a great kick without being overbearing. The chocolate pastry was fresh, flaky, and hit the spot. Service from the staff on the first floor was attentive and helpful, and the space has a solid energy to it. Parking is tight (the lot only holds a handful of cars), and while the noise level is moderate, it's nothing a good pair of headphones can't handle if you're looking to get some focus work done. Wish I were a local so I could make this a regular routine. 5 stars!

They offer a lot of drinks and food and have lots of seating. The outdoor area was beautiful and relaxing-ish (they can't help the cars driving by). I ordered a zucchini quiche and nitro coffee, my SO ordered drip, cortado, and empanadas (Patagonia, spinach, and breakfast). I thought the cortado was delicious. The drip was very weak and the nitro bitter. The quiche was just slightly over salted. I liked the spinach empanada, but found it heavy on the salt too. The Patagonia was pretty delicious and had great flavor. When I took a bite of the breakfast empanada, I couldn't name any of the ingredients in the filling. Overall, gave me the caffeine boost and sustenance I needed, but I probably wouldn't return.
