The service was friendly and efficient! I split one of their seasonal drinks, the Pumpkin Crème Brûlée with a friend but we were honestly given a lot for each of our cups! We got it with matcha and it was so good. The pumpkin spice flavor really came through and the matcha was not that noticeable to me, which I liked. I noticed that their seasonal drinks in general were aesthetically decorated! Overall, their seasonal drinks are it! I would come back for sure.

The location is on the lower floor of an office building. It has an adorable retro/vintage 70s Flower Child vibe. The ambiance was relaxing and inviting. Now on to the matters of caffeine. The espresso was perfect. Something we had not had since our arrival. Cortado was great, drip coffee was great, and their latte.... Let me tell you about their latte. I had a carrot cake with cream cheese cold foam. I asked for half the syrup. It was delicious, perfection, amazing. One day I had it hot, the next I had it iced, both were incredible. If I were guaranteed not to go into a sugar spiral, I would drink the cold foam straight. Now I'm preparing to go back tomorrow. Update: We came back two more times before we left NC. No regrets! We finally found an amazing coffee shop and that was important. Also, they make a fantastic Cloud Matcha AND they often watermelon seed milk aka MILKish. This is a game changer. The milk was tasty, with the tiniest but of sweetness, but no sugar or carbs. I don't know how they did it, but I'm here for it and on a mission to find MILKish here!

The barista was welcoming. She was the only barista at the time I ordered; however, her partner was in line to order drinks (I assume she was on break). As the partner saw the line grow she jumped back in to help. We ordered the lavender haze latte and chai with vanilla. We ordered the 24oz which is automatically iced. Reading is fundamental because my husband wanted a hot drink and I wanted to surprise him with a large size which turned the drink iced (meh). Anyway, the flavors were there!!!!! The house made syrups were amazing as well. I deducted a star because my cup had way too much ice. Otherwise, I will return.

It always feels like a small victory when a local shop is open early enough that I can skip the Green Siren people and enjoy something with a bit more character. A friendly barista took my order and made a perfect cortado in a proper mug. The milk art was tidy and appealing, the cup itself had a bit of charm, and the coffee was rich, balanced, and exactly what I needed to settle into the morning. I spent about an hour at a corner table, watching the place gradually fill with people meeting, chatting, and easing into their day. Only a handful of us had laptops, which made for an interesting mix of energy in the room. Or at least, interesting to me as I chipped away at a bit of work. The parking lot is far too small for the number of people who clearly love this place, so cars spilled out along the street. Even so, it was a pleasant and productive stop, and a good way to bridge the time before my appointment. [Review 58 of 2026 - 4537 in North Carolina - 25248 overall]
