Visited thousand hills yesterday (Sunday July 13) at around 11am for the 1st ever. When we walked in, there was an event going on with a full on DJ & a photographer. I was surprised but it was a nice surprise. Found out that this type of event happens twice a month. Line was long but moving quickly. I got an iced vanilla latte with cold foam & it was SO good. Came here on a whim with a friend, and WOW. She got an egg-and-cheese on an everything bagel (pictured), and I got a ham & Swiss with hot honey on a croissant (!!!)-not pictured because I inhaled it. The vibes were great, but the service? Even better. A sweet lady in front of us paid for our meal (bless her!), and when I mentioned to the cashier that I'd never had matcha, they made me the cutest little strawberry matcha sample. Great coffee in a cool space! I absolutely loved my iced black cardamom latte - it came topped with a good amount of creamy cold foam, spices, and a dehydrated orange slice. Delightful! It was pretty busy here on a Saturday morning, but still easy to get a table and chat. Lots of people in workout clothes. I luckily found a parking spot on the street by Taco Boy, and it seemed like most folks live walking distance or take the train since the Scaleybark station is right there. I was in the area waiting for an appointment I had. Since I had a few minutes to waste, I opted to stop by this spot. The coffee shop is located on the corner of what appears to be an apartment complex. There is limited street parking, and a garage. I parked in the garage. I was unclear if the coffee shop spoke validate parking so I hit the help button- that was basically a waste of time! The person told me to grab a ticket and take it to the coffee shop to see if they validate. If they don't I will have to pay! - just not helpful at all. I ended up calling the coffee shop and was told they validate for 1 hour. I guess they do not want you spending the day here working! When I walked in the door I was pleased with the decor. There were a few patrons in front of me, but I was at the front in no time. I ordered a matcha latte with non dairy milk and a blueberry muffin, that they warmed up. The matcha was perfect! I don't like sweetened matcha the muffin was also soft, and tasty. If in the area, I would check them out again. read more

This shop is in MAA apartment complex, you have to park in their parking deck- make sure to take your ticket to validate your parking. Overall it was a great place to study, the interior is beautiful. I liked the coffee they have quality beans, and the baristas were nice. I decided to check out this place while running a few errands needed a quick caffeine pick me up, I ordered a latte and a shot of espresso, The espresso by itself wasn't very good. However, the latte hit the spot. Definitely what I needed to finish the day. Thousand Hills coffee has quite a unique style and a great layout, lots of seating to work and study if needed or just to hang and enjoy your coffee. The service could've been a bit better. Definitely a work from home setting at this nicely sized coffee shop in south end . Situated under an apartment building it caters to everyone but mostly people working. Even in a Sunday when we went a crowd mostly on laptops. Maybe students too. Lots of seating, tables and couches. Nice decor and contemporary setting and nice chill music . The service was a little slow as only one person seemed to be on deck. Great coffee and tea menu and they have wine and beer and cocktails ! The workers were so nice. The vanilla latte was so delicious. There's a lot of sitting and there are outlet plugs for your electronics. They also validate parking which is so nice if you're going to study or do work I recommend bringing your headphones as people do play on the pool table and it can get a little loud, but other than that, it was an amazing place. read more

Finally tried THCoffee in loso the other day. It's really close to my house and I'm always looking to try a new spot. I was pleasantly surprised that there is a lot of comfy seating to be able to work remotely from the cafe. It is attached to an apartment building so there is more traffic from the tenants of the building then in an average coffee shop. It was a good latte. Coffee is just so expensive these days and I can't seem to get used to It. I think I paid $7 for this one with the oat milk, sf vanilla and tipping the barista a $1. AREA This coffee shop is located in a nice residential building with a nice outdoor seating space and a lot of comfortable spaces inside. Very clean and nice ambiance. There is plenty of free street parking. MENU The menu has some good hot and cold options, plenty of pastries and a limited menu with a few salads and sandwiches. STAFF Staff is helpful and corteous. WHAT TO IMPROVE My team members made it today for a quick lunch get together, and there was only one barista running the entire shop and kitchen. We ended up waiting 20 minutes for our drinks and pastries. I'm sute they were having a bad day. Overall, you should check it out for a quick and quiet hang out. read more

Came in this morning for the first time in over a year and WOW what a change. The barista was kind and conversational from when I walked in to when I left. He told me that the shop is under new ownership as of earlier this year, and you can certainly tell by the quality of the drinks, and the service. Only downside to the shop is parking, but I was informed they validate for the garage! Wish that was a little more advertised. What is important though is good coffee, and good baristas! Brand new location. So new that Google Maps is not able to pinpoint the location exactly. Google Maps lead me into a building garage. There was construction all around this building and it looked like they were putting finishing touches on a new apartment complex. This coffee shop is located in the corner space of this building. I parked in the parking garage of the building and I didn't get towed, so lucky me? I went on a Saturday at 9AM with a girlfriend. The place already had quite a few people in line when we got there. Despite the fact that they were very busy, the baristas were kind and took the time to have a conversation with each customer. The inside had a "chill hang out" vibe with a pool table and bunch of board games available. I think the decor was loft apartment meets hotel lobby with a twist of modern chic cafe. Yeah, it's hard to describe. But it was designed so you can sit there with friends and spend a couple of hours hanging out on the couch while playing board games and sipping on good coffee. They have an outdoor area with 3-4 square patio tables. There was also a grassy area where kids were running around. It's essentially a small quad surrounded by buildings. On to the drinks and food! Manu: Vanilla and cinnamon latte. The right amount of cinnamon and not as sweet as the Starbucks latte. Iced Carmanilla: Caramel and vanilla latte. I'm so used to light roast coffee being used for most lattes that it took me by surprise when the actual coffee had depth and a dark roasted flavor in this latte. I loved this because I'm personally a dark roast person. Chocolate donut: The chocolate filling inside was not overly sweet. The donut was fluffy and you could tell that it was made in house. My girlfriend and split this before a brunch date an hour later and this was the perfect "morning snack" to keep us from being hangry. Overall, a solid place to start your weekend mornings or to hang out with your friends! Definitely will be back to try their regular coffee (black) so that I can comment on the quality of their coffee without the flavor additives. read more

Coffee shop by morning, and great spot to grab an adult beverage in the afternoon. There is a pool table, TVs, couches and comfy chairs as well as tables to set up a work from home situation. I enjoyed the breakfast sandwich and it was actually massive. I couldn't finish it all. I remember my coffee being tasty but a small cup for the price. The biggest issue for me was the parking.
