    Strawberry matcha
    Cecillia A.

If you want matcha, do not come here. I tried the strawberry one and it tasted so weird. Like a sparkling soda type of taste and it's not good. The service is good. Ambiance, this location is big and nice. Great to work from. I got the pistachio kronut and it was decent. I like the filling on it but the bread part tasted not fresh, it was hard to break it into pieces. It was oily too. Will try something else next time.

Service was fast and easy. They take your order and they have a very nice selection of pastries, breads, and other yummy snacks. It definitely has a Turkish vibe which is very fun and traditional music. There's only indoor seating and it feels like a very good place to work business wise with your computer as they have free Wi-Fi. Parking is a little bit confusing, although there is a parking garage right next-door to the café.

I love their second location better only because the parking is much better. Staff is always knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful every visit. Very well decorated with ample lightening from the natural sunlight. So pretty. I can't say I have a go to since I've been trying everything on the menu . EVERYTHING IS GOOD. The only problem is, I can never remember what I ordered

I adore this coffee shop and the people in it! The people who work here are always so kind and patient, and they really care about how your coffee experience is here. Typically, I get the Harazi latte but today we decided to go with a matcha! Usually I order the coconut milk and matcha-- this time I tried the strawberry and it was very refreshing. The pastries are yummy I like the bread with cream cheese and honey drizzled over it-- the name is escaping me! Love this place and the culture it presents.

Hmm. This spot is okay. I came here to do some remote work. On one occasion, I got the overly priced hot matcha latte-- $10 with oat milk which is criminal in my opinion. Second time, I ordered the red tea (good, but grainy at the end). And the pistachio cronut-- super greasy and not that great. WiFi wasn't working the second time I came. I like the atmosphere, but I don't think I'd come back for the tea or pastries. Young lady at the register could be more pleasant with a smile on her face.

Beautiful art on this latte at Haraz

Fancy coffees here, not just the usual latte and cappuccino but Turkish and Saudi concoctions when we stopped this morning. My wife LOVED her latte and said it was one of the best she's had in Charlotte. My only problem with this location of Haraz is the noise. There is very little stuff on the walls to baffle so the echoes were very distracting. If it's too much, sit outside. [Review 512 of 2025 - 4112 in North Carolina - 24073 overall]

Came here for a coffee break with some friends. The customer service was phenomenal! I ordered a vanilla iced latte and I loved the cup that they serve it in if you have it there. There's plenty of seating if you want to hang out or get work done.

Visiting Charlotte and as I was looking for a coffee spot I found Haraz. Yemeni coffee the birthplace of this delicious liquid. Parking in the garage is free for customers and there is parking spots on the street as well. This location is spacious with several sections, and a separate room. The service is friendly and knowledgeable when I asked about their menu. I ordered the Haraz Latte and a Biscoff Cheesecake. Both were great, and last minute I decided to buy a bag of their Haraz medium roast. Looking forward to enjoying a homemade cup when I'm home. I came back the same evening after dinner with some friend, I convinced them the had to try Haraz before heading back home the next day. We ordered the Saudi to try it, and a delicious cake, of which I can't remember the name. This is one of the few coffee places that stay open this late and don't close after 3ish.

My husband had a soft carmel latte.I had a mango macho and a pistachio cheesecake. Both are amazing from here. The price is pricey, but it's good. And so I will continue to come when i'm able to afford it

I absolutely love this coffee shop! I've visited both this location and the Plaza location, and I've had a wonderful experience every single time. The coffee and pastries are absolutely delicious, and the beautiful décor creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and inviting, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend!

The Spinach Feta with Pistachio Coffee
    Shyann S.

Service was fair. I could tell they're used to people knowing what they want right away so me coming for the first time it took me a little to decide. Ambiance is amazing. Very clean and true to the culture. The spinach feta item was so good. The pistachio milk cake was a little more wet then I would hope for but it was good

I loooove Haraz! Each location is so well designed and have some of the best food options as a coffee shop in the city. The service is always SO GOOD! The staff recommends options that match your coffee preferences and are EXTREMELY helpful! Each location feels like an experience and the layout is so welcoming and chill. I love coming in and always seeing the decor and how clean it is. Not your typical coffee shop, it's truly an experience.

This coffee shop is so cute! They have validated parking in the garage right next door where it's always easy to find a spot (get the voucher code at the pick up counter). I've had two pastries here so far and my favorite has been the strawberry brioche supreme. I tried the one with the Dubai brioche supreme and I did not enjoy the center. It was also kind of hard. I have also had the pistachio latte (delicious! Highly recommend) and the Pink Coconut. If you like the pink drink at starbucks you'll like this one much more! It was perfectly made! The staff here are always very pleasant and friendly. I think this is the perfect first date spot, friend meet up and study/work space. They also have a room I believe you can reserve. Check out Haraz when you get a chance!

As someone who spent years in the San Francisco Bay Area, I really missed having reliable…read moreMediterranean and Greek options when I moved to Charlotte. One of my favorite spots back then was Nick the Greek--the bowls were simple, flavorful, and consistently satisfying. So naturally, I went on a little search mission here to find something that could scratch that same itch. That's how I landed at Yaffo Kitchen. Close, but no cigar--but still very good. I visit both the Dilworth location off East Boulevard and the Plaza Midwood spot fairly often, and they've become dependable places when I'm craving Mediterranean flavors. The atmosphere is casual, bright, and welcoming. I especially appreciate the option to sit inside when it's blazing hot outside, and when the weather is nice, their covered patio with umbrellas is a great place to linger over a meal. Now let's talk about the schnitzel--because that's the star for me. I know schnitzel isn't the first thing people expect at a Mediterranean-style restaurant, but they do it right. It's made to order, thin, crispy, and coated in panko, served with a fresh slice of lemon that brings everything together. I usually pair it with a side salad, but if the mac and cheese is piping hot that day, that's my backup plan. Another thing I really enjoy is their drink selection. They carry Tractor beverages--non-carbonated organic teas made with cane sugar and no high-fructose corn syrup or preservatives. There are several flavors to choose from, and they're refreshing without being overly sweet. It's a small detail, but one I genuinely appreciate. I've also had the roasted chicken, which was surprisingly excellent--juicy, well-seasoned, and satisfying without being heavy. And the pita? Warm, soft, and dangerously easy to keep eating. One lesson I've learned the hard way: edit yourself when building a bowl. The first few times I went, I got excited and piled on too many toppings, and everything blended into one big, goopy situation where you couldn't really taste anything distinctly. It's like wearing all your favorite accessories at once--individually they're beautiful, but together they compete with each other. Less really is more here, and once you find the right balance, the flavors shine. Prices are reasonable for the quality, service is quick, and the restaurants are consistently clean and well-run. I believe they offer beer and wine as well, though I usually stick to the teas. While I'm still on the hunt for that exact bowl I used to love back in California--simple, balanced, and unforgettable--Yaffo Kitchen has definitely earned a regular spot in my rotation. Check it out, experiment with the menu, find your palate's favorites, and remember: life is too short not to eat well.

We brought the kids and they loved the French toast stuffed with strawberries--huge portions and they ate every bite. I went with the quinoa stuffed avocado, super fresh and flavorful, while my husband couldn't stop raving about the wood-fired octopus. Everything tasted made with care, nothing felt rushed or bland. The kids-eat-free deal made it even better, and those $12 mimosa carafes? Total steal. Service was friendly, though it slowed down a bit when the rush hit, but we didn't mind.
