    seasonal cinnamon toast crunch latte

Summit has consistently delicious seasonal drinks. Most recently, I tried the cinnamon toast crunch latte and LOVED it, especially since I'm already obsessed with that cereal. This is a great spot to meet a friend for coffee with several tables outside for conversating. The interior is a little small and gets cramped if there is a line. I've never tried their food but they do have a small selection of pastries and bagels. I wouldn't count on a big breakfast here, maybe just go for the coffee.

The service was really nice. Not too busy when we went. When I asked questions about their products they answered efficiently and didn't make you feel silly. The place is very clean as well. The inside is kinda tiny but there is outside seats

Chocolate croissant and iced caramel latte

Had the best choc croissant here this morning! Got the hubs an iced vanilla latte and myself an iced caramel. The coffee is good and the atmosphere is cute. Beware very limited seating at this location, especially on a Saturday! I will be back! Only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I literally couldn't sit down anywhere and was looking forward to having a cozy afternoon reading with my coffee.

    LA MARZOCCO!

LA MARZOCCO! bravo on the 5 star latte this morning! As a travelling coffee snob I try to look at pics of the barista station to "see things" lol and I spotted the house made syrups. I got here and was very happy to see a La Marzocco. Quick friendly service and exceptional vanilla latte. I've been to a hundred "roasters" from Alaska to Boston, Florida to San Diego and this is exactly the kind of place I'm always looking for: complex espresso roast, perfectly dialed in crema, perfect temp smooth steamed milk, house made syrup. Perfect. 6 stars if I could. Finally someone who knows what they're doing on this side of Charlotte, my new go to when I'm in town.

    Whole beans for sale

The service was great. The barista was super helpful and knowledgeable about the beans they sale and offered to grind them for me. The coffee was really good and they have a lot of cold and hot options. The inside seating was a cozy little vibe and the also have a lot of tables outside. I've got nothing but good things to say about

Hello everyone, I was able to try Summit Coffee in Ballantyne today and it is by far one of the best coffee shops in the Ballantyne area. First off the interior of this place is spectacular and has that sorta beach feeling to it ( I say myself) and is comfy and great for studying. The equipment they are using is by far some of the best equipment on the market being La Marzocco and accompanying grinder. The baristas at this shop are highly skilled in their craft and are great texturing the milk and knowing the ins and outs of the coffee market and craft! Let's get on to the drink! I got just a basic latte and it was on point! Nothing was missing from the flavor of the beans to the texturing of the milk, and did I mention Latte Art?!?! This is one of the only places in Charlotte that does it that I have tried. They also sell their coffee beans as well and they are decently priced as well and are well filled. I recommend this place to anyone that wants to skip the mainstream coffee chains!! Skip Starbucks and come to Summit Coffee!!

Small establishment, but friendly and great for sitting and working! A bit on the pricey side however.

I love that they weren't extremely sweet, nor were they too greasy. They were the perfect donut. You really have to try them to understand. I tried the Butter Scotch and the Traditional Glaze. The staff at the establishment were friendly, and since it was my first time, they were able to recommend what to try which led me to the choices I picked. The location is great as well, with ample parking. This is a great place to meet up with a friend for a quick catch-up. Or, if you have some work to do, grab a donut, and enjoy your treat while being productive. There are other flavors I'd like to try, and I look forward to coming back again soon!

We get to the car and try to sneak one with a quick pop in our mouths and OMG. Stale stale stale. They were so bad - all of us stopped mid-chew and scrambled for napkins because we couldn't even force them down. It made us very scared for the remaining items, but they were fine - just proceed with caution. Not all glazed sparkling things are delicious. We may try again, but it will take some time before I can convince my family to give it a go. Nothing worse than a stale donut that looks beautiful.
