Fantastic Korean bakery. The pastries, breads, cakes are all fantastic. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Definitely a place to go relax and have an afternoon coffee and pastry.

Great food and atmosphere, so many options! Employees are helpful and friendly! I really love the Taro bread and all of the doughnuts, they melt in your mouth!

Matcha crème filled croissant

The only crime is that my pastry was so delicious that I was left feeling I could eat 3 more! I was very pleased with my matcha crème filled croissant- scrumptious! It cost $3.75. My matcha latte was good and looked picture perfect! My friend was pleased with her cream cheese pastry (cost $3.95) and regular coffee. The prices for drinks aren't cheap but not out of sync with the area. The place is clean and there are a few tabletops so you can enjoy eating while there. The tables are tiny and there aren't many so it probably won't replace Starbucks as a place to sit and do work for hours but the atmosphere here is nice and I predict that it will be a good social spot for meeting up with friends.

Self-service pastry selection

I am already obsessed with this place! The pastries and coffee are excellent. So far, my favorites are the chocolate croissant and the croissant filled with strawberries and Cool Whip. The pastry presentation is spot on, with a big pastry case in the middle of the store. They have unique options you don't see in your everyday classic bakery. I will be going back tomorrow!

My first visit and everything I got!

Clean, delicious, fresh pastries and coffee! Cozy inside and a cute patio too! A definite must!

The fries were battered and very crispy. These are the best kind! Complimentary Puff Pastry (4/5): These had the flavor of the bread at Brazilian steakhouses but with a different texture. The pastry was crumbly and there was a chilled gruyere mousse inside. Nice way to start the meal. French Onion Soup (3/5): Thick soup with lots of flavor. A little too sweet and tangy for me. I liked how much cheese there was on top. Duck A L'Orange (3/5): The duck wasn't that great. The skin wasn't crispy and it was a little too gamey. There was also very little meat in general. The orange sauce was runnier than I expected and very subtle. Good amount of potatoes and green beans which were solid. La Ricane (4/5): Reminded me of a Snickers ice cream bar but instead of ice cream it was a fluffy nougat. Good, but hard to justify the price when the ice cream version from the store is better and much cheaper haha Complimentary Madeleine (3/5): Nice that they gave these out at the end of the meal! Soft and bready with a light lemon flavor. The L'erreuer de Perséphone is a tequila based drink that has grapefruit, lime, cinnamon, and pomegranate. The Supernova is a gin based drink with house made lemonade, butterfly pea tea, elderflower, and lavender. (It was fun to watch her add the elderflower/lavender purple syrup to the top of the drink). The sweet bartender realized I was taking pictures and gave me a rosemary garnish and lemon twirl. The attention to detail was so kind. The atmosphere cannot be beat here. So far, La Belle Helene is my favorite to visit. The grand ceilings, stunning light, florals, and clean environment truly transport you. It is an elevated and upscale experience that truly makes me feel so special that I get to spend time in their space. I look forward to visiting again!

Since we were only running in and out, we just parked a block ahead on the street. The storefront is bright, open and clean, but there's no seating, so you have to take it to go which isn't a big deal since we were on our way to a book club anyway. Service was pleasant and quick, and you can't beat the value (12 cookies for $8 instead of $24). We will have a few to enjoy over the weekend now. I would definitely return. @azfitfoodfun

We…read moreordered two peach cobblers, a caramel apple cobbler, and a cinnamon roll, and everything was absolutely perfect. The cobblers came out piping hot and paired with the vanilla ice cream on the side, they were incredibly delicious and definitely something I'll be daydreaming about later. They were also playing great music over the speakers, which added to the atmosphere, and the service was fantastic. The employees offered great recommendations and were always attentive, anticipating what we needed. We would've included a photo of the food, but it disappeared faster than we expected . Do yourself a favor and bring your family here...you won't regret it.

Overall, the experience was very mixed. We tried the OG, cheesecake, Butterfinger, bourbon praline, blackberry, blackberry peach cobbler, sweet potato and pralines, and peach cobbler flavors. The cobblers being served warm was definitely nice, and I'd say the cobblers were probably the best part of what we tried. They were decent, although they tasted more like canned fruit fillings than homemade cobbler. The banana puddings and ice cream were average at best -- not terrible, but nowhere near the best we've had. The main reason I'm writing this review is because of the bourbon praline flavor. All four people in our group had the same reaction that something tasted very off. Comments included: * "It tastes like refrigerator." * "Is there soy sauce in this?" * "Yuck, this tastes like teriyaki." * "It tastes like the nuts are rotten" It genuinely tasted spoiled or contaminated with another flavor that may have been stored next to it in the fridge. When we politely asked if we could return or exchange it because it tasted so bad, the employee working basically shrugged and told us they didn't like that flavor either. Looking back, when we first arrived and asked for recommendations, they didn't offer much guidance. Bathroom was clean - water was only served in bottles, that cost $3. The chairs outside were very uncomfortable. Overall: warm cobblers were nice, some flavors were okay, but nothing stood out as exceptional -- and the bourbon praline was honestly one of the worst dessert flavors any of us have tried, we threw it away.
