Iced matcha lemonade

Lemonade was tart and not too sweet just how I like it. The matcha meshed well with the lemonade, definitely recommend.

Pistachios cannoli and milk and cookies donut

Located in the bowl, the Salty stands out due to its niche and curated spot with modern art deco vibes and bespoke drinks and treats. I loved the interior of this place and while we waited you can explore their merch or explore their vast menu of items. We each had a coffee and donut. And also opted for a ham croissant. Everything was amazingly delicious. While the staff helped us put together our bespoke coffee the donut decisions made it harder to pick out what we wanted. We ended up with a pistachio cannoli donut which was to die for. While the cookies and cream left me disappointed due to its over crowded mess of chocolate on top. The chocolate syrup gets messy so just be aware. While this was a costly adventure we will be back as there are things we are already craving.

The apple doughnut was so good, we didn't even notice it was vegan! Zapped in the microwave for 15 seconds for a warm and cozy treat on this cold Jan day

I have loved the Salty (previously named the Salty Donut) since back when I was living in Miami. I'm so excited that CLT has two locations now and I no longer have to wait in a 20 person line for these donuts on the weekends like I did back when I was living in Miami. The Salty carries gourmet brioche donuts. These aren't your typical donuts so it is not right to be comparing them to Krispy Cream or Dunkin. These are fancy, loaded and delicious donuts and one (maybe two) should be enough for one person. The best way to eat them is to get a few and split them with friends so that you can try more than one flavor! I love the Bowl location. It's super convenient and the shop is clean and beautiful with very nice employees. There's also a lot of indoor and outdoor seating as well as a conference room looking area with a conference table and outlets in case you need to study, do some work or meet with clients. They also serve delicious coffees and other breakfast foods like sandwiches. Love this place. Highly recommend.

When I went to redeem my Goodiebag offer the guy working the counter was amazing. I got there very close to closing and he was so sweet. He went into the counter and filled our bag was savory treats. There was around 7/8 items in the bag. Everything he put in the bag was a surprise to us. We noticed a few of the names but they looked alike in the bag. Now we had 2 with hamburger meat/ground beef. They were our favorites. One had ham and cheese and one had corn and cheese. Both were delicious. Small round cheese breads were very chewy. Our least favorite was the hot dog but it wasn't terrible. We opted to get a sweet treat also and loved it also. It was a milk and coconut twisted bread. All in all I was super impressed with what we got and all the delicious flavors. We split the goodie bag items between 3 people and were very satisfied. Romeo and Juliet Brazilian Cafe 1605 Galleria Blvd Ste 105 Charlotte, NC 28270 (Review 16 in 2024 and 816 overall)

I always get the flan it is the best in the state BUT it is not consistent unfortunately and is expensive I keep buying as most of the time it is amazing but when it is not I have not eaten it or tossed it again unfortunate. I do love most of what I get and always try new things and you can fine inside and take tons to go. They have other interesting and international gourmet goodies to treat yourself to. I do wish that all counter staff could communicate in English as I ended up a few times with things I would not have ordered and it was due to miscommunication and again the price is expensive and worth it when on point. I do recommend this spot as there are many reasons to come just make sure you know what you are getting and see about samples maybe before. Cute space tons of parking and easy to access.

The inside was immaculate and beckoning, with a two-sided display of the offerings and a shining espresso machine behind the register. The workers bore welcoming smiles and a a polite, inviting nature. All of that is the reason I give this patisserie three stars instead of two. While some foods are still a mystery to me - barbecue I can just take or leave, mostly leave - I know coffee and I know baked goods. The croissant I sampled was dry, implying unkindly that the flaky pastry dough was either formerly frozen or not fresh, and while croissants aren't exactly the moistest pastry to be found, the idea behind making them is kneading and rolling in a lot of butter, which I truly could not taste. What a disappointment. And somehow, somehow, my latte, albeit freshly prepared before me, was lukewarm when I took my first sip on the way to the car. How is that even possible? At the last minute, I asked for caramel to be added to my drink, but that was imperceptible too. I'd forgotten to ask for it to be half sweet, so I guess that was a blessing in disguise. When you stop by a bakery late in the day you sort of pays your money and takes your chances, but I visited just before noon. No crowds either. Disappointing all around, though again, the ambiance invites lingering. Cute bistro, lovely people, but - and I cannot believe I'm saying this - I'd have done better at the nearby Starbucks if all I wanted to do was get a latte and pastry. As the French would say, domage.

You order at the counter with food delivered to your table? Seems the location does a brisk to go business? I chose The Egg-cellent Burrito - nicely prepared & presented but the filling ingredients were not blended at all? And the tasty house made salsa, hardly enough? Tried a slice of dessert with ice cream but it was so overcooked it had been made rock hard? This itself was a 8 out of 10, the flavor was there, but the nachos portion tasted like the food had been sitting on them for a minute before getting to my table. I also got a side of plain roasted potatoes, and they were great as usual. My go to drink is always the morning meditation, which is a blend of citrus juices, ginger, and tumeric. That's about the only thing that went right. Our server stopped by briefly while my wife stepped away and took a drink order (waters). My wife was back at the table within two minutes. From that point on, we were completely ignored. Not "a little slow"--completely ignored. We sat there for 18 minutes without a single check-in, no order taken, nothing. Meanwhile, the same server was actively waiting on other tables, including people who were seated after us. At that point, it was obvious we weren't just overlooked--we were being disregarded. We got up and left. On the way out, my wife tried to say something to a staff member and was met with a blank stare and no response. I told the hostess we were leaving after being ignored, and her response was "see ya." No apology, no attempt to fix it--just complete indifference. Another customer nearby even said, "not professional today, are we?" which pretty much said it all. To make things worse, the restroom was disgusting. The only available stall (the handicapped stall) was filthy and completely unusable. That alone should have been a red flag for how this place is being managed. I called afterward and spoke with the manager on duty, Johnny, to get contact information for the district manager--and was given the wrong number. I had to call a different First Watch just to get the correct one. That's not just poor service--that's incompetence. I actually like First Watch as a brand, which makes this even more frustrating. But this location is clearly poorly run and getting worse, not better. Save yourself the time and go to the Matthews location instead. This one isn't worth the hassle.
