I was truly not impressed. Idk if I just went on a bad day or what but I got the top sirloin with onion dish and it had no flavors. There was no dressing on the salad and fries were plain. Authentic Brazilian cafe Had the picanha and it was delicious. The pastel de frango was also good and fresh. Husband had the linguiça and that was also good. Son had the bife a cavalo and he enjoyed it! I wanted to try the pamonha but they did not have it at the time. The only thing missing here is coxinha without the catupiry. This review is super late. I stopped by on the night of Tuesday, 11-15-22. I wanted a snack after watching a movie. There did not seem to be a lot of people who spoke English. The time stamp on my pictures is 9:03 pm, so I would have been there after 8 pm. I had the cheese bread, a version of flan, and some candy. I am Brazilian so I can attest this is a wonderful place for Brazilian snack and food. Their pastel, pão de queijo and overall bakery goods are super well done and authentic. The frozen food they sell also are typical of my country with fruit pulps to blend and make smoothies or natural juice which is one of our many wonderful delicious drinks in Brazil juices are natural so you can buy these here. You can also find açaí! Which is trending right now and they have at a wonderful price. Guaraná is another one of my favorites it's a traditional soda and it's a must try, together with a coxinha ;) you're welcome. I don't know how this place has changed 50 thousand times, but BR cafe feels like it just belongs here and it always has. When you walk through the former grocery store doors, you're in that hole-in-the wall restaurant where you just fit in... maybe not physically (it's super small inside), but it's a great place. The staff is nice and fun even if they don't speak a lot of English. Brazilian shows are on the TV, and there are lots of interesting snacks you can pick up if you want to try something new. As for the food... I really don't know what kind of magic they have in that tiny kitchen, but I've never had a breakfast sandwich or orange juice taste that fresh and delicious. It's eggs, yall.... why was it so good??!? On a previous trip I ordered the the hand pies. They were much larger than Mexican, etc. empanadas, and the crust was really light and flaky. Everything else I tried out of my friend's to go box was tasty, as well. I am very much looking forward and trying more things on future visits. This neighborhood has slowly and organically grown into a nice little spot with all kinds of restaurants and food shops from various nations. BR Cafe immediately became one of my favorites. Though it's still listed as "BR Cafe" here on Yelp, on my visit on 11/1, the signage and menu indicated a changed name to Fizz Restaurant and Sports Bar. Still serving Brazilian food. Anyhoo! I ordered X-Tudo for lunch, and dang, that's a lot of food! I'll be honest and say that it was a bit overwhelming. A LOT of cheese, plus a hefty portion of ham, an egg, beef burger, and veggies made for a nearly impossible clean bite haha. Ham was delish, but the burger was overcooked in my opinion. Probably wouldn't order the X-Tudo again, but glad I stopped in. The staff was extremely friendly and service was very prompt. I've seen this location change hands many times over the years, but I hope Fizz sticks around! read more

Fui hoje ao BR Café pela primeira vez, o atendimento foi impecável , ambiente super limpo , funcionários alegres . Pedimos as coxinhas e bolinhos de queijo aperitivo , vieram super rápido e quentes , massa fininha crocante , queijo puxando ... me mudei a poucas semanas para Charlotte e tenho ido conhecer o comércio da comunidade brasileira (tem sido bem decepcionante o atendimento , desorganização e bagunça nos outros locais) Hoje fui surpreendida positivamente , TUDO PERFEITO, zero barulho ou bagunça nos pedidos . Pedimos também dois pratos , um com linguiça toscana , outro com bife acebolado (estava em falta) e prontamente e sem custos adicionais substituíram por picanha , a mandioca frita estava sequinha e no ponto . Os pratos são super bem servidos , tivemos que trazer para casa. Não comemos sobremesa (pois realmente não cabia ), mas trouxemos pra casa. Com certeza ganharam novos clientes. Iremos voltar ! This place is a very authentic Brazilian cafe. The food was great and the staff was very welcoming.

My husband was recommended to come to this place to try real authentic Brazilian food, and let me tell you it's a little place but it's mighty. It's a hidden gem, the food is amazing. I gotta take out, but the presentation was still beautiful I got there a little late, but my food still fresh and hot. The ladies are so sweet and nice and polite, Definitely going back, unfortunately I didn't take a picture because my husband didn't wanna wait but he sure loved it, I will update a picture next time I come. read more

Stopped in when they first opened and picked up some of the Breakfast/Lunch type baked goods for friends and family. Everyone loved them...but It was a chore communicating in English when ordering so I couldn't explain what anything was so the friends could go to the restaurantby themselves. Months later I get random updates via Instagram but we still can't find access aanywhere to a menu that lists prices and has clear explanations of what any of the dishes are. We want you to succeed....PLEASE GET A WEBSITE SO WE HAVE SOMETHING TO REFER TO! Really, it can be done very inexpensively and will benefit all of us! read more
