Cozy spot with friendly service and great food. First time visit for breakfast on Sunday around 11am. We had the ginger spritzer which was a freshly made mix of ginger lemon tea and club soda. Very refreshing 5/5. For food had the French toast and eggs bacon and waffle. All delicious 5/5. Their lunch menu also had some great choices so excited to try again! Def recommend!

What a gem! Loved my first time here. The restaurant is smaller with about 10 tables or so with outdoor seating as well. Our server was so engaging and helpful! We went for brunch and saw they are open until 3:00pm. I got the matcha latte and my friends got the chai latte - both wonderful! I got the steak and eggs - first of all, it was a ton of steak and cooked perfectly. The chimichurri was divine. Look forward to going back!

One of my favorite cafecito and lunch spots! Clean eating fusion with latin favorites! This place was amazing and reminded me of Miami. The vibes inside are like a busy bodeguita and the staff is so kind!

Awesome experience and super friendly staff. The food was probably the best breakfast we've had! They were really helpful with my banana allergy as well

Ordered a pollo sandwich which was well made but no real flavor to it. Maybe that's what healthy is supposed to taste like?

Good food and service. A bit pricy but enjoyed the breakfast. Small cafe feel. Would recommend.

I was a little hesitant since I'm an egg-and-cheese or plain biscuit person but this was so good! It's a ton of food and very filling but a good, different thing to eat. I know I made it look very pretty in my photos, but don't be fooled. Here is the complete review. We found the green tomatoes bland and appeared to have been frozen before being prepared. The "Gravy Train" with the mini biscuit was inedible. The gravy itself was OK. Nothing special, not one of the three were "great." But the mini biscuits were terrible, hard, dense chunks of dough. I ate one of them and discarded the rest. The "Chicken Ditch the Waffle" was equally terrible. Whatever they did to turn the biscuit into "fake" French toast is a 100% fail. They were as dense and unappealing as the mini biscuits. The chicken itself was fine. If I was only rating the chicken I'd probably give it a 3.5. The best dish was actually the "GOAT." It was served with a Standard biscuit which we thought was still too dense and dry. I recommend finding an independent restaurant that serves real, "from scratch" food. I should point out that the service crew in the dining room who delivered the food as well as provided cleanup and assistance, were exceptional. They were friendly, courteous, and focused on customer service. I'm sure they deserve more than they are being paid. It was obvious many of them were spanish-speaking immigrants. Not everyone in the restaurant treated them with the respect and gratitude they deserve. Here's the detail of our order from their menu. They even have a "Dietary Preference" menu (look for it online), with keto, gluten-free, and vegetarian options. Some servers aren't aware of this menu, but they will see it in their Toast device if they look for it. We have landed on a couple of favorite dishes that are repeats for us. I like the Spanish Omelet keto-style. Instead of a biscuit and grits, you get a half of an avocado (sliced) and a roasted tomato. The omelet is always full of flavor, and I love it. My husband's favorite is their White Chocolate Bread Pudding Pancakes, with bacon ($2 extra). Don't let the name deter you--these pancakes aren't too thick. They are slightly chewy, and the white chocolate whiskey sauce is amazing. He rarely uses the syrup! Ruby's coffee is always good and strong, and their service is great, no matter who you get. I'm already thinking of when we will return next!

The service is always fast and friendly, and of course, the food is good! I started with the fried green tomatoes, and they were easily the highlight of the meal. They were fried so well and topped with bacon, tomato, lettuce, and a tasty remoulade. I'm still thinking about them honestly! For my entrée, I ordered the 3 Little Pigs Omelet. Unfortunately, it was a bit underwhelming. It was smaller than I expected and didn't really resemble an omelet. It was a little messy and slightly runny for my taste. On the side, I added a single pancake and a bowl of grits, both of which were delicious though. I had a good experience and will definitely be back. I just wish the omelet had been prepared a little better.

We loved the make your own waffle and biscuit options. My husband made his cornbread waffle with fried chicken, eggs, pimiento and bacon jam, and I made my biscuit with fried chicken, eggs, arugula, gravy, and pecan crumble. Both were delicious, I can't wait to go back and try another combo. However, they are massive so definitely shareable if you just do one or take half home for dinner. The portions are truly generous!

The Wafflery is a fast-casual breakfast spot with a surprisingly extensive menu--think waffles, biscuits, and plenty of other brunch favorites. It took me a minute to decide because everything sounded so good! Everything we ordered was flavorful and hit the spot. You can tell they don't cut corners when it comes to taste. They have two locations, and we visited the Rozzelles Ferry location, which was a great choice because there was more parking available. Just a heads up--both locations get pretty busy on weekends, but the line moves quickly, so the wait isn't too bad. If you're visiting Charlotte or just looking for a solid brunch option, this is definitely worth checking out
