Scrambled Eggs with cheese.
Camille N.

I ate from this establishment for the first time and must say the food was filling and good. As I got my meal as a "to go" order, I'm not sure what the service would be. I do plan to visit when I'm in the area again. One request I would have, is to scsmble the cheese in the egg. I've never been a fan of the cheese just placed on top but the French toast with the fresh strawberries, bananas, walnuts and whipped cream was delicious.

Went here with friends for lunch. Stacks has a great menu for breakfast and lunch. The staff is attentive, the service is good, and the menu has something for everyone in a comfortable atmosphere. We ordered from the comfort food section; meatloaf, stuffed cabbage, and grilled liver. We liked most all our food and the coffee was good. The beef liver had some gristle and not as tender as expected , wished there were more onions with the recipe, but it was still tasty. Food is plated nicely, good portions, came out hot and prices reasonable. We would return to Stacks again when in the area.

Stacks is always consistent and top notch. Weekends lines out the door. First time for lunch was a huge success...Typically always go corned beef hash and eggs but the steak sandwich with au jus was a game changer. Great staff and place operates like a well oiled machine. Classic diner ambiance.

I don't know how I just found out about this place. It's a classic southern breakfast joint, with a massive menu. Everything was delicious that we tried. I'll definitely be back to frequent this place! Great prices too and the tables turn very quickly, even during the core weekend hours.

Bacon cheeseburger with fries!

I love that place! Comfortable, friendly, great menu. It's often really busy, but it's big enough that the wait is pretty short.

The place was hopping! We had about a 20 minute wait, well worth it. Food was great and service was awesome. Would definitely come again!

Vicious Biscuit - The Fat Boy

Vicious Biscuit

Yep, they did it: impressed me so much that I am giving it one of my few-and-far-in between,…read moreprecious, five star ratings. They are THAT good. Biscuits and gravy are a southern staple and rarely have I had any that were really good, except here at Vicious Biscuit. Biscuits are their business. The most important elements are the biscuits and the gravy. Additions are many and varied, but if the basic two items are not both excellent, you will have a disappointing experience. The Vicious biscuit is the size of a hamburger bun. It is soft and there are bits of spice in the dough. These biscuits do not fall apart, but stay together and serve to soak up the wonderful sausage gravy that is poured on top of it. You can order just a biscuit with gravy for $8. And if you are timid, start here. Otherwise, there are add-ons like very good fried chicken, shrimp and grits, ham, pulled smoked pork, crab, bacon, fried shrimp. fried eggs and other combos. Super choices, so take time to study the menu which is extensive. Portions are great, very generous. I had their Vicious ($12). It was their Cheddar jalapeño biscuit, crispy fried chicken, maple sausage gravy, cowboy candy, with maple syrup drizzle. I was hesitant as to the maple syrup, but it is just enough to give accent to the gravy, but not super sweet. Wife had Fried Green 'Maters ($9.50) which were four fried green tomatoes, their signature pimento cheese with a pickled okra garnish. She could not eat it all, so I helped finish off the lone tomato and a bit of the cheese. Very good. Vicious Biscuit is more that a meal, it is an experience, even a journey, through this traditional southern staple, biscuits and gravy. Enjoy the trip. We might see you there.

I got a Vicious today although I wanted a Fat Boy. It was beautiful. The fry was golden, jalapeño biscuit was gorgeous, and it was slathered in gravy. I expected a flavor explosion and it was a dud. The Chicken had absolutely no flavor, the beautiful biscuit was flat and the gravy tasted like Libby's fresh out the can. I was so disappointed. It was indeed flat. I expected so much more. There was 2 tables filled but no one in line. Every staffer was pleasant. The resturant immaculate.

American Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch. Excellent…read more Our meals were fresh and hot. Service was quick and polite. But no longer a Mexican restaurant.

We like Mexican food and this one offered very nice choices. Situated on the outside corner of a…read morestrip mall, this little restaurant had a nice ambiance to it. Colorful designs on the walls, a dozen or so tables scattered around the dining room, a little bar that offered the usuals, and lots of windows for an open-air feeling. The room was run by just two people, but they seemed to have everything well in hand, with the kitchen putting out the food ... and you can tell someone is in the back hand preparing all the food. For dinner we had the Original Quesadilla (chose the steak version and it was 4 star very nice), a beef enchilada with mole (4 stars for the dish and 5 stars for the mole), and a pair of ground beef American tacos (3 star good with a generous helping of beef in each). Now we single out the "American" only because that is how they offer it ... you can have the tacos made American-style or Mexican-style ... the difference being a few items like cilantro and peppers. We liked having choices and the dishes were very tasty. This place also is sort of a sports bar with drink specials most days ... and it seems like the drinks come in four sizes. On our night (Tuesday), they had jumbo margaritas (the second smallest size) for half price ... so two for the price of one. The drinks did not taste alcoholic at all and might have been sort of watered down, but they were very tasty ... let's call them slightly loaded drinks. All in all a nice stop for Mexican food, and we will be back.
